Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year! Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%. Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day. Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights. Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day. Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?

Dec. 4 - Week 9 begins. Dec. 6 - I removed some dead and dying leaves. Dec. 7 - Photo update. Dec. 10 - Timelapse uploaded. This poor girl, the sometimes infrequent waterings may yet be her demise. In the video after the plant droops the leaves come back much more yellow since they're being sacrificed for the greater good. I've been aware that plants do this for many years, but I think it's still pretty neat to watch happen over just a few seconds.

I cannot wait to grow this strawberry gorilla again and train it, top it ,etc.. definitely resinous and trichome production is on point!! The smell is strong and off the charts with these dense sticky buds!! Got about a week or so to go and then we get to smoke her.. stay tuned growmies

Hello present and future growmies! Welcome to the start of week 9 for Queen Citronella. First things first, please go and check week 8, I update daily and the week is now complete. Day 57: Her majesty is parched and so overgrown in her space that I've decided to give her a haircut. It will hopefully make her easier to move about too. I've fertigated 10l today and performed LST adjustments and significant defoliation. Made a little collage to show the training I did. Day 58: Tried to colour correct photos. Any good? Day 60: Disaster! SOMETHING has gone horribly wrong! The Queen is unwell and now I shall try to figure out why. It seems like heat stress but I don't get how. Alright I think it is heat stress but I am not sure how, the temp hasn't gone above 26 degrees to my knowledge. Two things have changed this week first my house has been about 3 degrees warmer, and second I switched the main tent to 20 hours. I wonder if the additional time and the extra heat in the house has caused it to get too high. I have opened a flap at the side of her tent, and I am going to drop the light in the main tent down to 19h. As well as this I am now leaving a window open when the lights are on. Hopefully I can stop it getting worse but it is all over the plant. :( Okay soI think I have caused nute tox/shock - specifically I think what happened was an accidental big overdose of CalMag raising the EC too high. These symptoms came on way too fast to be a simple deficiency or lock out, and the PH wasn't so far off as to cause these issues. I've treble checked and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees, nor dropped below 17. I flushed her through with PH water today approx 40 litres - until runoff was clear and correct PH. I am not going to nute her for a day or two. Day 62: I have ordered the queen a new tent. 75 x 75 x 200. She's still asleep at the moment but I'll photo her later. She's really taken a hammering from, what I now believe is, nutrient toxicity. Day 62: Her majesty is looking much revived compared with the last few days. I THINK she will be ok. I've made a video assessing the damage. Ouch. Sorry your majesty, please not off with my head! Day 63: Alright I have a new tent for her majesty arriving next week and I've new airflow for the main tent. She seems to have recovered from the burn and is stretching again. End of week summary: First big mistake and first serious issues for Citronella. Sorry about that. However she has now recovered and is growing again. I cannot undo the damage but I think I have halted any further damage. Let's see what happens next week.

Another week closer..... Welll this is the end...this is the last week, the girls are finishing ripening up..All frosty and sticky. There looking great under the scope. milky and some amber...Just the way I like it.. Not a bad grow, I just have to remember that these girls grow big [ tall ] ..Its ok we managed. Day 48, end of week 3 into flower 🍓🌱 Plant got a good Lollipopping 🍭and a heavy defoliation. I've run into a big problem this week, as i noticed the plant is having a light stress.. Lots of leafs got curled up and tip burned😱🤦🏽😞 I turned the lights down to 170w, and it seems the stress on the plant has stopped. This is my 3rd run with this light setup, and on the last 2 runs i was growing with about 220W with the same setup/tent size. First one i grew was a Cinderella Jack auto from dutch passion, was 100% perfect with 220w! Second was Zkittlez by FastBuds, and with her i did saw signs of light stress, but the plant came out perfect at the end. But this OG Kush auto seems extra sensitive to strong lightning, I just hope she will recover and produce well 😳🤞🏽🌱 Other then that the plant just keep getting bigger and bigger!! 🤯😍 Its 54 cm high (started the flower at around 30cm!) And she was topped of course, Absolutely fantastic in that matter!✌️🏽

Wow, what a week. Finally installed my Inkbird humidity controller and look at the results. Massive difference having the VPD on point at 25°C and 60% RH. A video at the end shows my setup. Did a bit more supercropping this week and more defoliation to keep all tops at the same level, this will make the Scrog setup alot easier. Please like this and comment any questions or thoughts. Day 21, Even though i got these as a freeby, i'm happy i decided to put these among the bunch. These plants got the complete package👌Already @ Day 21 these 2 have a 👃 that just makes me happy. BTW i'm gonna up the dose P&K a bit in the next week to around EC 1.7/1.8 Rock on Growmies 🌱
