🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Our Test #3 has already made me fall in love. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. For each strain we have at least two plants there is also a specimen that is growing straight that you don't see in the photo for now for each strain of her I have two both excellent. The plant that you see in the photo responded excellently to topping from the beginning and did not suffer the stress that this technique brings the fertilizers for flowering that go from a few days after I made the switch to mid-week (it is therefore considered vegetative the plant is still understanding that it is going to flower). I find myself very well when it comes to flowering with Palgron in vegetative I have some difficulty I have to ask the experts for advice on how to prepare the soil with their products. I think I will use Bat Mix or Super Mix next time or the excellent pellet from Zamnesia going to integrate Alga grow if necessary. We did our best Zamnesia has put superb genetics and at home B&B we are working to show you the plants in all their possible meanings. This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The fertilizers for flowering have helped us to return in a very short time to a good balance now we go straight to making great buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative but we move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program that keeps the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I get along very very well even more than Alga Grow that sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Probably try to prepare the soil with Plagron Super Mix or with the Zamnesia Pellet. 🍀Estuvo bien en toda su etapa, no tuve ningún problema. Grow diaries is cool but it kinda sucks.

The 3rd and final girl has been trimmed, weighed and placed into curing jars! She added another 78grams making the total come to 219grams! I'm fairly happy with the result of my first grow! Id like to thank the community here on growdiaries. Without the hours I've spent looking through diaries, getting ideas, and learning, I've found this site invaluable! I hope my fellow growers keep on taking pics and sharing their experiences! Being my first grow and having to deal with manitoba flood humidity during late flower i believe i ended up with a decent harvest sitting in my jars. I really look forward to growing another photo strain in the future and perfecting my results but I think I'll be doing a run of autos first so I'll be back 😎😎 Post cure edit: These frosty buds matured into a dream to smoke. They really kick your ass and leave you breathless in a nice indica daze. Would not recommend for medical use for anyone with lung issues or super old smokers... but if you got some young lungs and wanna get fucked up, some good old OG kush will get it done boy! (gave her 100ml of just PH 6.5 water) 27/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml Biobizz Grow, 6.4PH (changed feeding to once every 2 days with a plain water interval) 28/10/2019 - Started LST 30/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml of each Biobizz - Grow,Bloom and Max, 6.3PH, added carbon filter and it raised the temps to 29c 31/10/2019 - A tad too much of nuts, little burn tip. (Sensi Seeds warned me but I still goofed it)

Awesome plant,smell is super sweet yeah.Seems to be a bit nute sensitive so I've slacked down a bit.Buds are very dense hard nugs.Not too many leaves etc so trimming shouldn't be an issue.

The leaves continue to turn yellow from the bottom. It seems that I started fertilizing too quickly and the tips of the leaves burned a little

Insgesamt haben die Beiden das Alles aber gut überstanden und hauen nun dicke Nuggets raus. Yeahhh...last week for them. I can't wait anymore. Facing the possibility to move to another house I'll have to finish the process earlier than I was wishing but far late that I first tough in how long it could take to harvest. Last two weeks they are showing a few signs in their trichomes (Dwarf 100% white with a few getting gold colour - N.Lights 80% white, a few gold spots) but I'm running out time. About my two Jacks, they are still drying in a homemade amazon cupboard dryer box (not happy with that but no other alternative) and when it be ready I'll let here my opnion.

Hola gente!! Vaya semanita por favor... Unos calores de no creer con 37 Cº, humedad relativa extrema de hasta el 83% y poco viento... Ella está interesada en recibir un poco más de agua, pero no le daremos más de lo que necesita... No quiero arruinar los nutrientes y la vida de su sustrato así que la riego lentamente con sistema de goteo. El fermento de guano de murciélago, palomas, conejo y cabra ya está listo. Tiene un agradable compuesto de melazas, microorganismos de Top Crop, Agrobacterias y almidones además de una buena dosis de humus de lombriz... Huele muy peculiar, ni feo ni agradable, como a levaduras... Lo comenzamos a agregar en dosis de 1 litro a 25 litros de agua pura de lluvia para riego por goteo. Esta semana ella recibirá goteo permanente hasta acabar con la solución. Creo que los 25 litros durarán unos 10 días aproximadamente. (Podría variar según la necesidad del sustrato) Estamos preparando además un top dress de composta, humus y trichoderma para cuando comience la temporada de floración ya que es a mi parecer la forma más eficiente de prevención contra hongos no deseados 🤞 Aplicaciones foliares permanentes cada 3 días intercalando una vez delta 9 y otra vez jabón potásico, aceite de neem y cola de caballo para mantener plagas a raya y también dar ese impulso al inicio de la floración que al parecer está funcionando más que bien. Luego de todo esto, ella hoy toma un descanso previo al riego intenso que se viene. Quiero dar mucho más con este cultivo y desearles a todos un gran camino de aprendizaje y agradecimiento 🙏🌿🌞🏄‍♂️ IRIE!
