Hello Gromigos, well, I've lost the count of days with hell hell temps, always around 95°F. Cookie is starting to stretch but internode length is incredibly short. This pheno is perfect for indoor growing in a large pot, a single but great plant. I've trained to low main bud obtaining an homogeneous canopy. Now branches are full formed and fat. Incredibly hybrid vigour. No need for fertilization, maybe 1-2 shoots later, in blooming. I'm watering them every other day with 2 gallons each, little by little, trying to avoid past's run mistakes.

Topped this little herercane on day 11 and she is starting to grow some little branches. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon. Other than that just playing the waiting game....

Pineapple express is one . They nailed the name right on the head. This plant truly smells just like a pineapple and almost looks like a pineapple once the fade starts one of the biggest autos I’ve ever grown truly thankful for the opportunity to grow this plant FastBuds420. 4 Life 🌿💨💯

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. NOTE 1: Afgooey Auto pheno #3 turns out it's a MALE. Resembled nothing like her two sisters ran at the same time. In fact, I had to move her to the 12/12 tent to initiate flowering. Little did I know or expect She would be a He. Lola by the Kinks is rattling round my brain about now ;) FEEL FREE TO HIT THE LIKE BUTTON IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE ;) 2x4 French Macaron - at the time of this posting, FM is heading into week 8 flower. Second extensive flushing w/fresh rain water due to acidic conditions (ph >5). Been struggling with ph the entire flowering. I speculate ph issues due to over feeding. Ph is roughly 5.8 to 6.0 after flushing. At this point, flushing with plain RO water until harvest. NOTE 2: I've introduced two 5 gallon bubble buckets into the 2x4 grow tent. Both buckets have medium air stones running from a 125 gph air pump. Given French Macaron isn't scheduled for harvest until mid-January, I might not have cutting ready. First grow may have to be from seed. Update later. 3x3 Afgooey Autos and clones from previous grow - Afgooey #1 and #2 are firing on all cylinders. #2 running a bit acidic (>5), so flushed back to neutral with roughly 7-8 gallons of fresh rain water ph at 7.0 to 7.2. Same with clones (i.e., ph very low). Flushed with fresh rain water too. A couple days later plants look so much better. Wait till plants nearly dry before next watering. Trimmed and cleaned up three of the clones growing weird. Felt a bit like trimming a bonzai tree. Let's see how they respond.

Good for the money, did pretty well handling the smell.

I started this week with lst to open the canopy. Also removing severl bud sights that will not be getting enough light and defoliated some as well. Next week she will be readu for flower.

This lady has some more uneven growth going on, it could be a strategic topping mistake from me. I don't know. Anyway I'm trying to fix it by topping some more and I'm gonna apply some lst strings to keep the two main branches a little more down👨‍🌾💚🌲.. Everything for that even canopy baby😎 So far still only water with sometimes adding some Aptus

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Right now she is still in a veg state so no changes will be to a nutrient schedule that reflect a flowering stage. 🍶 12 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 12 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 70 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 28 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week.
