This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

Hey folks! ✌️ I was sick for a whole week and skipped last week's update, but I've got some exciting things to share with you now. At the time of this post, we're on day 53 of flowering. While I was down with a fever, the plants suffered a bit due to drying out. The big one was hit the hardest. As soon as I started feeling better, I watered them, but the big plant experienced some gnarly salt buildup. Both plants were emergency flushed, and now the situation is more than good. During this time, the male plants were actively producing pollen, which I collected. I've decided that I have enough pollen for future experiments, so today I culled the males to ease the workload. In my small tent, the LSD auto by Barney's Farm is flowering. I might pollinate one branch to see what happens. The big plant is struggling with the weight of its branches, knocking its neighbors' heads (it even broke off some male branches!). I've tied the heavy branches to wire supports attached to the main stem. Now I can clearly see the seeds forming and maturing. I'll keep the plants until the seeds start dropping onto the floor. The plants have fully recovered and are feeling great. For nutrients, I'm using AB at 40ml per 5l with an PPM of 1695 and pH of 6.1. Amber trichomes are starting to form, we're cloudy in most sections but there's still a bunch of clear a little deeper in. This is probably their last full week..we cut all nutrients nearly a month ago and have been watering heavy (as we typically do during flush) but they have only lightened slightly, we use a soilless media which should be completely flushed out by now but most the leaflets are still super dark, after seeing several other grows of this strain we assume it must be characteristic of B.B..we have 4 grow areas in our grow room and the Bangers can be smelled over everything else.. It smells like Fruit Loops with notes of gasoline 🍓⛽...The SP-3000 by MarsHydro is an absolute beast in a 4x2, this is our 2nd grow under The SP-3000 and we completely filled the 4x2 on both occasions. Each run resulted in massive, compact Buds just covered in resin..its without a doubt the best LED of its size we have in house or have ever been privileged to use honestly... As always germinated in a glass of water with 1/5th peroxide added. Beans all opened up in about 30 hours. Plugs were hydrated a day beforehand so they were nice and moist but not drenched. I added a little myco's to maybe get a headstart on inoculation and explosive and healthy rootgrowth due to the fungus. Took about 48 hours to break topsoil and the Grape & cream beans seem very vigorous. 14-8-2023 Ive added a vid where you can see 3 grape and cream seedlings where 2 seem to be less happy than the third. Heatstressed mostly. This was due to my light hanging too low and the ppfd seemed a bit much for them so ive adjusted and they seem happier and are folding out flat again. 1 didnt seem phased so for now we'll keep an eye out for that one for cutting purposes but its very early hahah

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

WEEK 9 The first week of flowering went very well for my plant. So far, it has stretched strong and is slowly beginning to add fullness to the buds. I’m quite happy with the plant’s overall shape — it has developed a fairly even canopy with many strong shoots. The leaves have a rich, deep green, and overall the plant appears to be very healthy. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration.
