Switched from 24/0 to 12/12 at the end of day 14, also switched the 730nm Led's on. Its been 7 days the plants have started growing a lot faster but there's still no pistils showing. I started feeding biobizz grow @ 2ml/l At the moment there getting watered every 3-4 days. The light is showing 25000lux on a lux meter app.

Hello Growmies, In the fifth week of vegetative growth, our Epic Buzz by Anesia is coming into its own within the controlled environment of the Tent-X challenge. The latest photograph reveals a lush canopy of green, with plants exhibiting robust health following topping and defoliation. Remarkably, the plants have sailed through these interventions without displaying signs of stress, a testament to their resilience and our attentive cultivation practices. Each Epic Buzz plant now boasts a minimum of six nodes, some even presenting with eight—a clear sign of their readiness for substantial vegetative expansion. The application of 1 liter of a well-formulated nutrient solution, composed of Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, on a tri-weekly schedule, is ensuring these plants are not wanting for nourishment. Turning to the Tent-X graphs, we observe a well-maintained VPD during the day, demonstrating that the controller is effectively managing the tent's climate to optimize plant transpiration and growth. However, the graphs also reveal a challenge with nighttime VPD management. The inability to maintain optimal VPD levels after lights off suggests the Smart Mars Hydro fan isn't adequately managing humidity levels during these crucial hours. This night-time dip in VPD is a concern, as it can lead to a less efficient gas exchange and potentially create an environment conducive to unwanted pathogens. The urgency to connect the Mars Hydro fan to the Tent-X system is underscored by this data, as doing so will likely resolve the humidity management issue and maintain a consistent VPD, crucial for the plants' overnight health and vigor. Aside from this, the daytime VPD control is commendable, with the Tent-X system keeping parameters within the target range, ensuring the plants' transpiration is at its peak efficiency for healthy growth. As we proceed, we'll keep a close eye on the environmental controls, particularly the humidity levels during the night. The integration of the Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system will be a critical step in achieving the perfect grow environment for our Epic Buzz, fostering conditions that support robust growth around the clock. Honey Melon Haze and O.G. Kush have been transfered into final pot (26l). Pots supports have been installed. The two Mandarin Punch (Auto) grow well but since their germination has been done a few days later, they are still too small to be transfered into their final pots. It should be for next week :) I put a pH meter in both 26l pots and the pH is 7.0. It's not perfect but it's ok for soil.

Microscope shows the telltale amber in some of the trichomes :). Did a full system clean with H2O2, long rinse, and the new solution is just pH balanced water and FloraKleen. Some crispy leaves at the moment but I'm not worried. Harvest is coming soon! Next post will be a harvest post and early smoke report 🙃

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine je prévoit de pratiquer comme technique spéciale le LST et juste un arrosage. Pour cela comme à mon habitude j'attend le cinquième noeud ou que je juge la plante robuste. Je profite que cette semaine qui va être relativement calme pour faire un LST appliqué et vous faire un rappel de ce qui est pour moi la meilleure technique pour arroser une autofloraison et la façon dont je pratique le LST. En suivant ces quelques simples conseils vous obtiendrez un résultat optimal tout au long de votre culture : Le cannabis est une plante qui n’aime pas recevoir un léger arrosage en continu. Il est impératif de l’arroser en grosse quantité, puis d’attendre que la terre soit bien sèche avant d’arroser à nouveau! Pour calculer la quantité d’eau nécessaire à chaque plante, suivez cette règle : Le volume d’eau à donner lors de chaque arrosage doit représenter au moins environ un quart du volume du pot !! Exemples : pour un pot d’1L, donnez 0,25L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 4L, donnez 1L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 12L, donnez 3L d’eau à chaque arrosage pour un pot de 30L, donnez 7,5L d’eau à chaque arrosage !etc… Pour donner un tel volume d’eau, il est souvent nécessaire d’arroser en deux (voir trois) fois, lentement et uniformément sur toute la surface. Disposez de bonnes coupelles sous les pots, celles ci se rempliront d’eau qui remontera dans le pot par capillarité en moins d’une journée. Il est également très important d’utiliser un bon terreau de qualité, avec une bonne capacité de rétention d’eau mais qui assure également un bon drainage (celui ci doit contenir de la perlite, et/ou de la coco, etc..) Il vous faut alors maintenant attendre quelques jours en sous-pesant régulièrement les pot avec vos bras. Quand ils seront redevenus très légers, vous pourrez arroser à nouveau !! En effet, comme l’eau pèse beaucoup plus lourd que la terre, un pot gorgé d’eau pèse plusieurs fois le poids d’un pot d’une plante prête à être arrosée. Avec un peu d’entraînement, vous apprendrez donc très rapidement à sous-peser vos pots pour savoir quand une plante a soif. C’est une technique à la fois très facile et très efficace, et qui peut être appliquée à toutes les plantes en pots ! En arrosant de cette façon, en général vous devrez arroser vos plantes tous les 3 à 6 jours. Pour cette semaine 3 au jour 17 ma plante fais 12 centimètres et son cinquième noeud apparaît je décide donc de pratiquer un LST sur ma plante. Pour ce j'utilise du fil de fer galvanisé que je plante directement dans le substrat en faisant attention de ne pas endommagé les racines car n'oublions pas que ce qui pousse dessus pousse aussi dessous. Jour 17 je pulvérise du une solution composé d'une cuillère à café de savon noir mou dilué dans un litre d'eau en prévention d'éventuels nuisibles. Je corrige mon LST suivant la pousse de ma plante ... Pour ma par c'est la manière dont je procède. Comme promis petit rapel de: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Yellowing of WW#2 is worrying me, looks to be a nutrient issue maybe? I raised the light above WW#2 by 4 inches in case its light burn as well. Other than that and the nute burn on The other plants things seem well. End of week update: things are looking great, I think whatever happened to WW2 is reducing its ability to form buds? Not sure. It’s looking okay, hoping they’re going to fill out well! Definitely need to grow the widow XXL again, it’s a shame I had another plant fall on WW2 and damage it, likely contributes to the yellowing and such. WW1 still has no amber trichomes, waiting for this entire week to end before I even think about harvesting. I am eager to harvest so I can get more light to lower buds on the other plants. I had to tie up 1/3 NL2 main colas. It was so heavy it was beginning to split the bottom stalk, there was no damage really just maybe 1/20th of the stalk was peeling from the weight. I tied him up to the light and everything seems well. I figured I wouldn’t run into that problem, but don’t underestimate how much weight buds can pack on!

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and I’m ready to chop her but gonna give her another week and possibly chop next weekend. Not sure yet though. She’s mostly milky but would like some ambers in there and if I’m not seeing any this week, I’ll give her more time. Day 65 - Still continuing to give her straight pH’d water to flush her out. PPM’s are down to around 550 so thinking by the end of week 10, she should be completely flushed and ready for chop. Just watching to trichomes to tell me when. Day 66 - Just did a flush with foxfarm’s sledgehammer and gonna let her dry out till the weekend and looking at the trichomes, she’ll be ready for a chop this weekend. Looking forward to finally starting to dry and cure this girl! Day 67 - On track for chopping Saturday, day 70. Not seeing any clear trichomes, all are milky and some amber. Will most likely chop most of her and and maybe let the few bottom buds get light for a week or so and chop the rest. Day 68 - Looking good and frosty and begging to be chopped but gonna wait till Friday or Saturday then start the drying process!
