Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

Fast Buds has been very kind in extending me the opportunity to try our their new strain C.A. There's not a lot of information out there about this strain yet, other than it is supposed to be indica dominant. No solid leads on the name that I have found. I'd going with a guess of Cali Airlines for now (though I suspect this may be a CBD strain). Put the seed straight into the soil in the final container (3 gal grow bag) on March 3rd. I'll spray the top of the soil once a day until I see the sprout appear. Then I'll let the tap root do its thing and find the water below in the soil. The soil was watered heavily 2 days before planting the seed, then left in the tent to get the soil to temperature. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since Fast Buds has been kind enough to allow me to preview their new CC and CA strains I am now going to be starting a new seed every 2 weeks. This should allow me to get all of the plants I want to grow this season in the perpetual harvest rotation. I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water as needed. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. In the middle of the 5 week most of them show their sativa characters with long branches, now in the 6 week they are completely start flowering, more photos soon Today 14/05/2021 I will change the lamp bulb to a specific one for flowering (always 400w) and will experience the CalMag for the first time in 4 years, all I have learned was self taught and I have never used this product...in my opinion it was a big mistake, hope to have a positive result 🌋🏔️🌋🏔️💚💚💚💚

Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? May 3/20 - Day 23 - 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - 3L given to each girl. - GSC girls have perked up the last three days. - GSC2 is getting wider but not taller. - Runoff numbers: - GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH - GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH - thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes. - GSC transplant went well. - GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞 May 4/20 - Day 24 - dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday. May 5/20 - Day 25 - gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0 - water and left them alone again today. May 6/20 - Day 26 - Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH - the girls are working through it......just give them time. May 7/20 - Day 27 - simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - each girl given 1L. - GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size. - GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up. - Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock. May 8/20 - Day 28 - Dry out day - The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier! - GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍 Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!

Too much N is observed and also some heat as there is an heatwave again and inside the tent it was around 31 c°, i only used half dosis of iguana grow in a light mix and it still seems to be too much, the ppm was around 380 so not sure if its just heat stress, but i think they will be fine, i will just only give water the next week and apply some slow absorbing nutrients on the top of the soil, something like guanokalong or biobloom, im sure they will be fine 😁

This week I started giving Green Sensation to the large plants. They are blooming rapidly from now on. I will add a stick as a support, because I feel that the plants will be too heavy for themselves,I don't want them to collapse. My small daughter still received power roots, and blooming nutrients. Unfortunately she is not growing as good as the rest, but I will keep her anyways.

Seemingly overnight, the A.K. plant overcame Sour Ripper in growth! Been a fun week as far as the plants go, havent needed to water them at all. Ill take a peak into the tent occasionally, witnessed the growth pick up exponentially this week. I noticed the pots are getting pretty light when i was taking these pictures. Will likely water them tomorrow. Notes for those interested: My last grow was RUINED from consistently overwatering and NEVER checking pH of feed water. Everything that could have went wrong as a result, did go wrong. Murphy's Law eh? Just trying to see to it that doesnt happen again. For those interested in the DWC girls, their growth has been nothing less than great 👍. It was less than two weeks ago that i went to the local hydro shop to pick up some hydroguard and damn! Is that shit good or what?! Root rot has been stripped away in almost ALL of my DWC girls, tons of white, happy root growth in their place. Ive decided that i will flip them all either halfway through this week or monday of next. Going to mother both A.K. and S.R. 2-3 weeks into flower transition. Again, great job @RipperSeeds and @Nirvana, really loving this stuff.
