Saturday, 19/02/2022 All plants looking OK. I realised I had no clear plan as to what I would do with the plants I LST'd so I removed the ties today. I really prefer the symmetry of mainlining so that is what I will be going for, specifically, quadlining. Plants showed no ill effects to Cytokin treatment (drench and foliar at same rate) and seemed to like it. Fed on 15/02/2022 with 10ml/gallon CAB and 5 ml/gallon Real Growers Recharge (RGR) on 17/02/2022. No ill effects to RGR and plants seemed to like it. Ph'd with 1.5 ml/gallon Evergrow Ph Down Sulphur on the 17th, not sure about the 15th, I may have used rainwater. Top of soil and actual soil at depth was moist today so I did not feed but at this moment, 2:34 PM, there has been significant rainfall for the past hour. Really need to get a rain gauge. Apart from the pots being on bare soil (need to get them off bare ground with large saucers, blocks, stepstones or something similar). I really don't mind the rain because I think the "natural" water will be good for the beneficials introduced by the Recarge and subsequently the plants. As I move the plants what seem to be whiteflies immediately flit about. Really, really need to get going on IPM!๐Ÿ˜ฃ 5:13 PM, Saturday, 19/02/2022 Raised pots off ground with plant saucers. Treated pots, soil cover and plants with dusting of Insect Powder.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Welcome growers The first month of life is ended for this beautiful CREAM CARAMEL ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿซ She still one of the most vigourous in my garden and, like the previous weeks, very happy and healthy A few days ago i have decided to modificated her grow doing some training and, for be precis, i cut of the central stem, making of the topping technique โœ‚๏ธ I would to have the same heightnes for all my ten strains in the garden and so, i decided to do it for all my ladyes (except one) I have also cut a couple of leafs off, not too much for now, just for increase the airflow and for a higher lights exposure of the lowers parts ๐Ÿƒ And she reacts pretty well ๐Ÿ’ช For helping in this "hard time" i have also changed anothers things, like lights intensity and types of nutrients.. About the lights ๐Ÿ’ก Doing that, i have increase the potency of my two Mars-Hydro SP3000, from 25% to 50% โฌ†๏ธ The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. Pretty useful ๐Ÿ’ฏ In the middle of the week i have switch from 18/6 on/off to 16/8 on/off.. Always tryed to mimic the natural cycle of the sun light, works good to me ๐Ÿ‘Œ Anyway.. About nutrients ๐Ÿ‘‡ In this week i have giving her always organic/veganic nutrients.. Flowering coming on really well now and things seem to be going ok, one plant stretching a lot faster than the other so hopefully it slows down want these to be a little smaller in size than my previous grow

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Removed a few leaves from 1st and 2nd lady which where covering some branches. 36: Some brown things in the flower. Is that normal? 1st lady is just growing in the lachuza pon granulate. it has ph 7.1 and i just watering her with pur water. maybe it will work but her developing seems to be behind 2nd lady. 37: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.5l water PH 5.8 and 2ml/l BioGrow and 2ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 414ppm. the water had around ec of 180 ppm. I will try to optimize the mix of purified water and tap water. What should the proportion be between cal/mag? The tap water has a proportion of 7:1. 40: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.0l water PH 5.9 and 2ml/l BioGrow, 1 ml TopMax and 3ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 580ppm. the water had around ec of 200 ppm. A few lower leaves look a very little bit turning into light green. At all she looks very healthy in my opinion. And they are really stinky ๐Ÿ˜‚ The side branches grow fine. I counted 10 of them ๐Ÿ˜ They reach nearly 30 cm. Main branch is over 40 cm I think. Need to buy a measurement think ๐Ÿ˜‡ I think LST is good for dwarfs but I have to work on the technique a little bit in the future. 41: I can measure height now. 1st lady is only 28cm. 2nd lady is 38cm and side branches 28cm. 42: Same cocktail as week 40. 1.25 l

Candyman Day 85, Day 35 of flower! We have now hit week 5 of flower and they are starting to look and smell incredible ๐Ÿ˜ very sweet but pungent gassy aswell. They are getting fatter by the day now. I think two will be done in 4-5 weeks ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป I'm very happy with this brand of seeds ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Had a bit of a issue with the auto feeder not feeding 1 side properly so buds started falling over hopefully fixed the issue now so 1 more week of nutrients then flush

This lady created quite the sea of tops. Shes getting nice and chunky as her bud production revs up. Trichomes are starting to pile on as she gives herself a coat. Strong orange citrus aroma wofting from her. Looks sexy and smells tasty! I can't wait. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as this lady is booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Chop Day Today....66 days and I feel the runts and Mac could have gone longer but the godfather is crossings 30% ambs and the stash is almost empty!
