Welcome to Friday- Start of week 4 veg. Today I adjusted the ph in the reservoirs from 6.3 to 6.0. Ppm under 800 so no added water. Damaged leaf seems to be from a magnesium deficiency, so I’m foliar feeding and bottom feeding with a mixture of CalMag. Doesn’t seem to be getting worse. My foliar feed consists of 5ml/g of CalMag, 30ml/g of seaweed extract, ro water and ph’d to 6.0. Daily Light Integral at 35. Lamp is 18 inches above and dimmed. Extra scrog net has been purchased in case I decide to run two levels of screens. Lowered the SCROG screen and wove branches laterally to encourage filling up the screen. Saturday: raised the lamp by 2” to 18” above the tops. Adjusted dimmer targeting a 30 DLI. -Checked nutrient reservoirs and ph is 6.2 and ppm at 780. Added .5ml of ph down to each reservoir to bring reservoir ph down to 5.9. Not topping off today. -Foliar fed at lights off, also sprayed for bugs using Captain Jacks. Sunday: defoliated below the screen and removed inward facing fan leaves that were blocking bud sites. Lowered ph in reservoirs from 6.4 to 6.0. Adjusted fans so they run faster under higher temperatures. Monday: REPLACED NUTRIENT SOLUTION. First replacement in two weeks. New solution ml/g is Micro (6), Bloom (9), seaweed (30), 3% hydrogen peroxide (10) CalMag (3). 6.1 ph and 1200 ppm. Drained reservoirs and added new mixture. Added RO water to drop total ppm below 900.Plant looking good. Tuesday: scrog net canopy filling in. Supercropped a few branches and wove branches under nets. Switched all lighting to 12/12 for flower, so tomorrow will be the first week of “flower” as I post here.

Flush week

Week 1 of flower over going great plants are a nice size the tent is full up now I've moved a runtz muffin plant the 2 mac 1 and the mimosa to a small veg room so they can veg for longer and be ready for the next diary. All the Pheno’s are green and healthy, Indoors was overwatered or the substrate got too cold. I started seeing what looked like Iron lock out(pale yellow/whitish color on the new growth’s basal leaflet). I reduced the frequency of the added Coconut water powder and Aloe Vera powder and allowed the substrate to heat up to above 72 degrees Fahrenheit(was 68F) and now the new growth is turning a vibrant green again. #1 and #4 are my favorite out of the outdoor and indoor sisters. The indoor plants started showing sex on April 18th 2022, still waiting on outdoors to show sex.

Everything went as good as it could the last week. I definitely realize now that the light was too much for them once they stretched up from the lack of knowledge using my light mover. I’m still trying to figure them out but I believe I have the rite combination now for speed and pause times, but sadly to late for this crop. My other tent just going into flower with the same setup will be run drastically differently this time for a lot of things to compensate for my intense 1000w HPS. I’ve grown massive Buds before under this light in smaller tents and I’ll be dam’d if I’m gonna let this light rail defeat me! Lol so we are gonna start flush now because we are just about 8 weeks in and although we do have a ton of bud in this tent and I would have like to push her a bit more, we are gonna take what we got and move on! Lol there are a lot of medium size buds absolutely everywhere, and solid. Even below the top screen, between the 2 screens every node has a solid bud sticking out. Still gonna be a nice yield I think all things considered. Ph pretty much stayed constant in the reservoir at 6.0 as well as the EC was sitting around 1.5 all week. Wish I could get my light up more but I’m having a hard time finding the attachment for my light rail mover to add a bar instead of ropes to suspend it. I can’t justify $100 to import it from USA though...lol so I’m gonna experiment with some other diy one once I get these girls cut down, dont wanna mess around above them and risk dropping the heavy light on my girls. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Cut off many big fan leaves to give light for bud sites. Hope I didn’t cut too much. Thinking about flushing for a week. Maybe the yellowing and curled leaves are caused by too high ph which comes from nutrients

Vamos al lío , las 2 plantas se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 2 El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 21/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%, esta semana siguiente seguro que les realizó el correspondiente trasplante. These girls are just days away from harvest! I will closely monitor their pistils, calyxes & trichomes throughout the week so I can determine exactly when to give these girls their two days darkness before chop! They are all starting to fade out really nice and the smell just keeps getting stronger each and every day! After this last feed/flush I will only give these girls R/O-Distilled Water with nothing added whatsoever. Please enjoy the videos I posted of the girls! Update: 9/7 The pistils and trichomes are about right where I want them. I’d say I have about 90% Cloudy, 7% Clear & 3% Amber Trichomes. A majority of pistils have gone from white to amber and have retracted. The girls have stopped drinking water so I transferred them to my darkroom to finish off for two days. After the two days I will chop and hang at 67°F @ 55%RH for 8-10 days until the stems begin to snap.

So it's time to harvest Russian machine guns. The plants were high because we pulled them with a lamp and did not use LST. The final product was removed on the shelf of the refrigerator.00
