This will be my first grow. Northern lights x Big bud Auto in Foxfarm happy frog soil. Temperature about 77 average and RH about 50% in my 2 x 3 tent. It’s my second run growing San Fernando Lemon kush, I had to repeat this lemony flavor. Even though I’ve already grow this before, I’m still very excited to grow it. Strain characteristics: This strain is an amazing hybrid between two great genetics. It crosses San Fernando Valley OG Kush which is what brings that lemony zest to the garden coming from the Lemon Thai which is crossed in that mix and then that’s crossed with Kosher Kush. The aroma of this strain is pure limonene it’s quite pleasant and very intense. Hints of wood, cypress, a bit of spices and a solvent scent which combines it all and just smacks you in the nose. The plant is a Indica-Sativa hybrid but it leans to the Sativa side, she’ll stretch on you quickly. This cultivar develops lots of trichomes and has a strong presence of the limonene terpene being ideal for resin extractions, from personal experience I highly recommend making some rosin out of these lovely flowers. Very tasty stuff, I might just set aside one whole plant to press. …getting ahead of myself here, still have a long way to go before I see any buds. Variety SWS62

As I’ve already grown this strain, I know what to expect so I’m hoping things will run smoother. Last time I only topped her and did a bit of LST guiding the colas. That technique was great but she stretched much more than I was expecting which gave me problems but ultimately gave me a good yield which were 82 grams. This tent is taller so I have more space to work with, let’s hope things run smooth and I can improve the quality and yield from last grow. Dropped 4 seeds but only 3 made it. This grow was so amazing!! The purple punch’s came out super sticky dense nugs, super frosty , an a huge smell of blueberry muffins! Super fun grow along with the Forbiddin Runtz definitely one of the sweetest berry smelling strains of ever grown, highly recommend everyone to try out the purple punch’s, you will be highly satisfied!! Day 71. Biggest by size, but maybe not by overall weight of harvest ;)))) she is most hungry and lost foliage... This girl definetly makes me regret, that i didn't use any nutes ... Smell is weakish, worst from all 3 . Mars TS1000 did a great job to her during veg, but now she spends time under my quantum board. Took most damaged leaves away. 3.5 liters of water goes in. Day 76. 3.5 liters in. Lower part is far from maturity, she needs like 3 weeks still i think. Getting some funky colours ... Happy Growing !!!

The Mimosa x orange punch is budding up pretty good the dynamite desiel and og kush are starting to go but behind the mop for sure. All the photo plants are doing well and still stretching. Been watering the big plants every 2 days and the sour desiel auto about every 4 days. I saw some very early signs of bud rot on a few of the buds on the sour I immediately cut them off and separated the plant from the rest of them. We had 4 really hot humid days than 3 days of hard rain im thinking it came from that. I'm hoping I got it before its too late the plant got about 2 more weeks to harvest im hoping to make it I don't want to chop early but if I have to I will. Keeping a close eye on it. I'm still feeding grow nutes to the big plants and I've cut the bloom nutes in half for the sour auto im gonna feed one more time at 1 tsp and than start the flush

Still looking fair. I'm waiting for the fourth node before I top it the first time. Day 13 the fourth node was out yesterday so I topped it for the first time to begin mainlining. Transplanting into the final container (7 gallon fabric pot) to continue indoor growth until it's warm enough to send it outdoors

Turned light power to 50%. 15 Aug - Harvested the plant (see pictures). 16 Aug - Began curing process. 💚 Thank you Seedsman Seeds for this opportunity to grow some new genetics from your line up. 📑 Pineapple OG performed well! Her total flowering time was 61 days, and veg time 49 days, for a total of 110 days seed to harvest! With an impressive yield to go with it. From the beginning this plant was a real pleasure to grow. Fast and even spacing between leaf set the stage for strong level branching in height. Not much training was needed during the vegetative stage other than some minor defoliation. One would think this was an F1 or Auto strain with the speed of growth, but it is not. The cross breeding in terpenes has proven to be winner as the smell is very intense with pineapple and sweet tropical scents. The buds swell solid with resins especially in the last weeks of ripening, and are snow covered with trichomes at maturity. I’m sure she would have gotten much bigger had I been set up for a larger plant. I am extremely satisfied with the results produced from these genetics. and would recommend them to anyone wanting to grow a high quality product. 🔥 Smoke Report: 25 Aug - After hanging in a closet for 8 days with RH of 50% and temperature of 70 degrees F, the product was ready for trimming. I decided to try out a large tumbler that was given to me by a good friend. Glad I did! It worked out great! Cutting my trim time down to practically nothing, and making the buds look exceptionally manicured without excessive waste, I’ll continue with this method of trimming in the future. I am pleasantly pleased with the outcome of this grow. Almost 1/2 pound of quality smoke. The buds are solid, resin filled, sticky and smell like a fruity pineapple. The high comes on kind of slow, then settles in for a smooth calming feeling, like the world just slows down a little bit. Leaving you feeling excited and relaxed, lasting for hours. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... July 18th - PurpsBerry will not be Schwazzed, but she will have a little defoliation carried-out here to mark the end of 3rd week flower. - CloudWalker and rOOF95 get visited today; meal planning n Mtce 20th, did some preventative mtce on all these plants today / yesterday. Bamboo tripods, secured around a stable spot on the main stalk. It makes a knob of side-branches and bamboo, snugged into a collar. Really stabilizes the plant - CloudWalker / rOOF95 still Vegging, getting them ready for this next 3 week transition into Flower; (aug 13 is when my community hits only 14hrs of daylight) - PurpsBerry is way ahead of that lol. This seems like it would easily be the 3rd week. Possibly more. Taking the Ripening to the limit. I believe this Plant is going to be “Tested”; tba 21st - big winds have split one of the CloudWalkers; of course, the one that was topped. With 2 plants outside this summer, that have been modified by each FIM and Topping, both of them has failed and Split. Each was and is being repaired; rope / duct tape. But thats the last limb loss for any outdoor plants right now… LST ROCKS - the other CloudWalker is Robust, and still on the Menu Aug 8 ** working backwards, this is Officially when we are calling it week 1 of Flower, for both Machupi’s Lady and PurpsBerry

Plant seems to be growing well, she’s has some nice fans. I’ll be transplanting some time next week. Topped her this week too.
