Keeping my plans, finish with nutrients this Sunday and flushing for 7-14 days after that. I'll add a few more pics later today. Sat 22 Yesterday a friend with more experience in these things took a look at my plants, he seemed impressed by what I've accomplished on my first grow so far. He also confirmed that the weird things on the KDA buds aren't nanners... phew ! He also confirmed my plans for flushing tomorrow are good.

The grow was going great till the air stone stopped. I got root rot in process and it hurt final size. Super stick, and strong smell or a earthy fruity scent. I had the polyploidy mutation in this plant. I started a clone and have a diary for it on here. I used a Spider Farmer SE5000 light, and New Level Hydro bucket. I also used hygrozyme. The Apple Betty girls have performed very well this week! The LST began, and there was some great growth in side branching. I also started this week off with introducing them to some nutrients ❤️ Start of week 4, the girls had responded well to transplanting, so I decided to start with some LST. My main method is to use soft wire wraps (dollar store purchase!) I poke one hole in the side of the pot near the top, and then go directly opposite that hole and poke through to make another. The first hole is for a wire wrap to secure the base of the seedling from pulling right out or over too far. The other hole is for the direction you want to bend your plant to. I start by slowly working the stem between my fingers at the point where I want it to bend. Twisting and pinching slowly so not to snap. *wait a day or two after your last water, or it will be easier to snap* once it’s ready to flop, I use the wire tie to hold down the top of the plant as close as I can to the nearest shoots. I’ll usually leave the plant like this for a couple of days, adjusting the ties, and then take them off to let them recover . Watered with a small dose of the full line of Advanced Nutrients I will be using for this grow. The girls got about 500 ml at the beginning of the week, but 2 days in I could tell they wanted more. By the end of the week they are taking nearly 1/2 gallon (which will give me 10% runoff) At the end of the week I increased the intensity of the BP2500 to 190 watts at the wall and the girls did show a few wrinkles as they adjusted, but have quickly recovered. I haven’t topped these girls, and I’m not sure if I am going to… thoughts? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

right in 2nd week of flower and they have lost their smell? prob because it is so dry and they have started flowering. I gave them bloom amendments last week. lets see if they are in a better place next time i see them. These were clones from a grow buddy but it looks like the pheno was not really deserving of cloning. hope it smokes well.

Sep 27: lots of buds remaining left and did a big defoliation to expose the buds to sunlight. Lowered scrog net during the defoliation.

Done a lot of leaf tucking on this one and now I have flicked lights lad week and this is the result up to now the seed was from a bag of Cali what was 10/10 smoke

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Heyo growmies! The smell is so potent, i have only grown 4 strains to this point, but this plant seriously knocks all others out of the park when it comes to smell, this is not a strain you put in your backyard without upsetting some neighbours. following last week's EC observation I have lowered my nutrients down to 1.8 ec, keeping the same amount of green sensation. I'll be monitoring the reservoir in any case, there is currently no sign of nutrient lockouts or deficiencies. the only issue I see one or two colas are starting to show some early signs of light stress, So once again I'm faced with a decision, do i turn down light intensity, making the lower canopy suffer, do i leave it and have a few foxtail buds and burnt fan leaves or, do I hst the colas that are getting too close. That's an issue I would like to be moot in future grows, I want to get good enough at training that I can have a completely even canopy. in the middle of the week, when changing out the reservoir, I noticed some buds are starting to show some colors, nothing impressive, just the tips of calyxes and fan leaves turning purple, still, I love the way her flowers look. she's very slow to finish and I cannot wait to see the end result. I am making good progress on my veg closet, i'll now have space for a mother plant,so my hunt for a strain and pheno i love can begin! I will be starting another diary featuring Zamnesia genetics next time, I want to bulk up my stash so i've germinated 2 Runtz and 1 Wedding Cake Automatic. I will move the Timelapse to that grow, it's more interesting to see small plants grow rather than an old girl bulk up her buds. Stay safe and keep growing✊
