Some leaves are already turning yellow with age, although I see slight flaws on some, given its age and the fact that it is an autoflower, I will not address anything. The buds are beautiful and I will flush her in a few days, I have about 12 days to do it, which is just right for cleaning 🌱🏵️💚 Training: The girl doesn't have many extra leaves, I removed a few large very yellow leaves, but otherwise there was nothing else to do 💚🌞🌞 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 The plants respond effectively and the light is technically very well managed - I try to have 18 cm between the light and the plants, so I move it up regularly 💡💡💡 Thanks for the likes :) See you soon 😍😍

22-05-21 (Day 8) Today begins a new week for the Kosher Cake. I must say that it has a very rapid growth.. Maybe it will be that I am not used to growing autoflowers and therefore for me it is as if it were a new thing, being used to growing only photoperiodic plants.. 🤷‍♂️🏻😇 I am very curious to see what she will have to give .. Bubble Gum was definitely the greatest yielder of the 3. So much flower I could not get in with the scissors to cut the leaves off at the stem. Very excited to see the final weight.

Flowering Week 27: Mold Alerts & Aromatic Triumphs Update: 14.09.2025 | Day 191 Hey Growmies, Week 27 tested us with brutal weather – rain almost daily, humidity never dropping below 60%. But the ladies are hanging tough. Had a small mold scare on Durban Poison, but caught it early. The improved support system held strong against the wind – no collapses this time! Let’s get straight to the main characters: Durban Poison She’s loving the weekly mineral fertilizer – bulking up like she’s on steroids! The aroma and resin production have intensified big time. After touching her buds, my fingers are glued together with sticky goodness ❤️. Still, I’m staying vigilant – checking daily for mold and removing any signs immediately. Blueberry Her buds are getting denser and more beautiful every day. Finally seeing resin glistening on the sugar leaves, and the smell… unbelievably divine. Fruity, sweet – beyond anything I expected. Really hoping the weather allows me to harvest at least a few mold-free buds from her. Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Been too busy to update the last few weeks, but they’re surviving longer then I expected. When I received my new light I did not take in consideration of the heat output and within the first night of use the tent reached a scorching 88 degrees

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Next to thanking Santa Maria for her healing, we would like to thank our friends here, all who shared their kind words, advice, and attention. This girl was drinking a lot slower than the others I’m guessing she’s cooler in that corner at the base but either way growth was slower into bloom but now she has shot to an impressive 22-23” levelling out the canopy at the back! Can’t wait to see how these flowers form!

Week 4: Light defoliation

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
