So disappointed. All four of the girls hermed. I'd normally say it was me but none of the other plants in the tent hermed. They were looking so good too. Okay smell, had a cherry smell early but faded.
So this run was a trip. I was interested in Raw genetics after listening to an interview and thought the owner was pretty cool.
Run started rough. Used all 12 seeds. Only 6 took. Four were used. They grew great. In flower they had tons of frost. Okay smell. But having all four herm is crazy. So disappointed. So sad. And to top it off they had to have pollinated the other girls in the tent. So I'll have to pull them.
As you can tell I wouldn't run these genetics or breeder again. I can't believe all four did. I checked the plants before throwing them out and yes, they have seeds in them. Developed pretty good too.

This was a good grower. Not a great germination rate though. I'm just beside myself that they all hermed. I didn't do too much training. No more than I normally do. Two topping sessions. Once with the main cola and again on the four main branches. I did lollipopping on the lower growth getting rid of everything but the top three sets of branches. In flower we had a ton of frost. It looked great. The buds were developing nicely being very dense. There was a good cherry smell at first but that kinda faded to a sweet smell. Not much really though. But ultimately around week five or six they hermed. I checked the plants diligently over the second, third and fourth weeks so I know for a fact there were no herms in the normal time for males to appear. So that is for sure that they weren't males. I got males plants in the past from Robbin Hood seeds so this wasn't the case. They just couldn't handle something. Maybe the training? Maybe the UVB? Or maybe just unstable/untested genetics. I can confirm that the other five plants, being Humboldt seed co, didn't herm even a little. Which is so sad cause I was gonna run Raw genetics in the future to test future cultivars. But that's life! And also why I try a new breeder every run. Live and learn!
@PapaNugs,now that makes sense. Back in the day, when we had to harvest so much all at once, I absolutely dreaded harvest time. Would hire the neighborhood stoners to give me a hand.
@StickyScissors, thanks and I trim this many every time. Trick is to harvest each one a day or two apart so you don't have to do it all at the same time ๐ ๐
