Too much going on for a detailed update, but here are the highlights: Did a res change on 12th. Was thorough in removing all of the old water, and flushed out the roots of both grow sites until the water ran clear. Filled with RO and did nutes until ~900 PPM. Creme de la Chem just kept stretching, got into the light. I re-worked the tent today, and now they have like 4 inches of space... definitely sub-optimal. I've been trying various techniques on different stalks to see if anything works ... super cropping, topped off some smaller bud sites, and folding over as much as I think they can take. She just won't stop stretching! Finally seeing decent pistils on her, though, so maybe she's almost done. Going to be a lot of toasted and light bleached buds on these two beasts :(. SOH hasn't been getting much taller at all, just adding more and more pistils. I'm waiting for her to start fattening up, and excited to see what she produces. As you can see from underwater temps, I've been doing battle with the water temp fighting to keep it under 72F. I'm rotating ice packs, and it's annoying AF. When this grow is over, I will be adding insulation to the outside of my buckets. I've learned so much already ... my next grow will be much much smoother. For now, it's just a matter of trying to cope with my early mistakes 😂.

Just another week of flowering. Buds have set pretty good and I will be defoliating/taking clones and pinching off anything that will be larf soon. I think the "mainline approach may be effective.. very even budding across each main shoot. I usually just bend and train until theres enough tops, but they don't always flower evenly. Nute wise, since the buds started, I added in some liquid koolbloom to the mix and stopped the tarantula and Piranha powders. I have been feeding three separate one minute intervals per light period, and they're in one gallons. 2mins a night and they were getting dry, 3 is a bit heavy on the runoff so hoping they start drinking more as they get going more.

They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. Extremely disappointed with the yield but that is my mistake by keeping this 100% indica from getting bushier and expecting it to stretch more. Definitely many lessons learned this grow. Going to add weekly flushes with beneficials in my next grow schedule from now on.

Veg veg veg boring...I twisted and pinched the 2 new tops from topping and tied down a few with some plant tie downs...they are already starting to put off a flowering scent not just that green chlorophyll scent a actual flowery pungent hue in the air lol

Day 65 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with Terpinator at 25ml/gal. 11 days left of flushing on Plant #1. This will be Plant #2's last nutrient watering, as she will start the flushing process next watering. Also added two yoyo hangers and two stakes to Plant #2 as her branches are getting heavy (not complaining 🤷‍♂️) Day 68 Update: Starting flush on Plant #2 today. Plant #1 has 8 days left of flushing. Watered both plants with almost a gallon of pH balanced water until runoff.

Flowering week 3. Everything is ok. I made a light defoliation.

We had some problems with the light we were using and re-installed the Spyder. Long story. The plants are looking good, frosty, stinky, bud size could be bigger but they are dense. We found out that one of the lights is only operating at about 40% capacity, which held back the one side of the tent. Things are looking better with the new light. Hard to say if the UVB is making difference as these are all new strains, but we hope for the best 😁 Some Pheno's are really starting to show off. Honestly most are looking good and its going to be hard to choose keepers. May need another run.. Some plants are on their way to being ripe and ready for piking so I am sure we will start harvesting some in the next week or so. Check yeah next week 👊
