5th week of flower, the plant has stopped growing and focused on the buds. Both plants look nice, I’m hoping the 3 gallon plant gets fatter before the end though.

8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. Weeks been chill, plants are not drinking as much as I thought they would be. Still annoying to water them separately with PH'd shit, some days I just give them tap and say fuck it. Can't say they are doing the best they could be doing. Been to busy with other things to give them the full attention they need for a first time liquid feed grow. Really should have done this indoors but I hate running a tent in the summer when the sun and heat are free. Granted the tomatoes are blocking some of their sun, have to move them aorund. been meaning to do that but no where to put them where they won't block out some other plants. Been having some fun making the little videos each week, been using open shot video editor to mash it all together and it works quite nice. Few crashes here and there as this laptop is garbage. It has so many features that I am not fully utilizing like cuts and effects but I've kept it stupid simple. Bugger one of the videos did not upload into the diary. Annoying AF these things take forever to "resize/convert" I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing.

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the cycle of this fragrant beauty. There will be a harvest in 2-3 days.😍 Every day I use a small microscope to check when it will be ready. When the trichomes start to turn brown, then I will have a harvest, everything is already prepared. 💪 As can be seen in the pictures, most of the leaves are completely yellowed, the flowers themselves are beautiful green. 😀 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I took off all the bigger leaves to give them better airiness in those last days and to give the flowers a little more energy. 💪 Watering is every three days and on her 61st day was the last watering before harvest. p.H of water before watering I regulate with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Always between 6.2 and 6.3 The temperature and humidity in the Box are great, almost ideal for this phase. 👌 Let’s take a look at what Fat Banana’s last week looked like. 21/11/2020 - Day 58. Watering. p.H of water I regulated to 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 24/11/2020 - Day 61. Watering. Same procedure as three days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.1 degrees and 40% humidity. 26/11/2020 - Day 63. Photography and defoliation. As I wrote earlier, I removed all the larger leaves for better airflow and to give the flowers a little more energy. I photographed Fat Banana for the last week of flowering, since I will have a harvest in a few days, I will take the final photos on a black background. I'm really looking forward to it. Going into week 2 with extreme excitement. Made some changes to my custom grow tent (Camping closet lol). Added better circulation (14cm) computer fan to bring in the fresher air & provide more circulation as the plants were experiencing some canoeing at a stage. Girls now growing really well. Increased nutrient feed from "first true leaves" to "Grow" according to Flora Coco chart.

Week ten. I started giving booster one week ago, so her flowers are getting better every day. What do you guys think? How does she look? Shall I do more defoliation? But my tent is pretty small too. Consider that while responding, please.

Day 37. Bigger girls got bottom trimming, still will do lolipoping in 10 days or so. Two smallest plants, which now stand in shade will go to greenhouse, just have no space for them. One Blackberry went purple already. Strawberry Banana grows nice too, BUT IT SMELLS LIKE STRAWBERRY BANANA in real life, just touched the best plant and was blown by sweet fruity smell !!! All Orange Sherbets grow small. No feed all week. Happy Growing !!!

Sorry about the extended updates. Coronavirus has took a toll, and as an essential worker I’ve had to step up to the plate. Plants are doing fine. Much has been learned from this grow, so if any questions be free to ask.

The light has been turned down to 50% for the last week and now She's on her last week of flushing and and starting to get alot of yellowing on the leaves . The bud has frosted up pretty nice now . The buds are rock hard and I am hoping after drying that it will still have alot of weight to it . Not a huge amount of smell to this plant even late in flower. It smells very earthy when you open the tent up but if you touch a bud it smells like lemon citrus with a very strong fuel smell . But it really smells tasty 😋. The next 3 waterings will have a cleanse added to the water I just really want to make sure it's as clean as I can get it since it is my first harvest and I dont want to fail lol . Can't wait to smoke my own weed lol .

La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.
