Hello fellow growers. Croptober is here. Still displaying flowering on the week because I only harvested 2 of 5 plants. I checked the trichromes and they were T-d off and all milky white. I will wait a few more weeks for the remaining plants. The goal is to have a couple plants at the beginning of the harvest window and harvest the rest when they are more mature and ripe. The 2 plants I harvested were the bigger ones and each yielded about a pound each. One was the tall purple nug plant and the other was the bushy one. The shorter one smelled like gas once you got all the flowers bundled together, definitely can smell the sour diesel in the genetics. The tall purple one also smelled gassy, but also fruity. I would describe it as a mango/orange smoothie kind of fruity aroma. I didn't get a lot of popcorn and even the smallest nugs looked at least like a grams worth. The bud was sticky and gave a lot of finger hash. The leaves also looked packed with trichromes so I will save them for making medicine. The plants didn't grow as tall as I expected. I've honestly had indicas grow bigger, but the quality of the herb is there. Next time I will start these seeds earlier in the year to get bigger plants. I started them in May, but usually start my seeds in late March to get the roots to develop earlier. Usually they get stunted in height when you start them early, but the roots are developing. Once they take off, they tend to grow bigger because they already have an established root system. IMO BTW. The DRY. I placed the nugs in one of those multi-level mesh containers for drying. I used the top three levels. They started off displaying around 85% humidity on the first day and on the third day are now down to 68% humidity at 76°F. They are not moldy. I handle them once daily so they don't flatten out too much on one side. This is the down side of using this type of drying technique. By the fourth or fifth day, they should be ready to start jarring. I've left them longer in the past, but they start getting really dry if you leave them in the mesh too long. Smells like it's going to be at least a two to three month cure to get that smell out, but the one I already had curing from 2 weeks ago is already smokeable. We will see how good it gets by the end of the year. I can't wait to see how the remaining plants turn out. I will let them go as far as I can to see how the smoke differs from the early and the late harvest. Sativa dominant genetics should go at least another month, but I will start with the let's check in 2 weeks rule. Thanks to everyone following. This has been a great year for growing.

Stecklinge kamen innerhalb eines Tages per Overnight Express von MannyT. Richtig schöne Pflanzen, kerngesund und tolle weiße Wurzeln! 👌 Frisch angekommen durften sie sich kurz ein bisschen am Fensterbrett in der Sonne ausruhen und wurden dann ins Aufzuchtzelt gestellt. 30W Licht für 2 Tage zum Abfangen des Transportstress, danach dann 100W vom Spinnenbauer. 😊 Danach wurde in 1L Gitternetztöpfe gefüllt mit EuroPebbles umgetopft. Der Blähton wurde vorher mit ausreichend Alpine Nutrients 3-Part Düngelösung gespült und geprimed. (3-Part Düngeschema für Hydroponik, Woche 1-2 Roots. pH 5,7 mit Schwefelsäure eingestellt) Um das Durchwurzeln der Pebbles zu gewährleisten, wurde darauf geachtet, dass die Pebbles immer wieder etwas rücktrocknen, bevor erneut gegossen wurde. Zwei mal am Tag zusätzlich Blattapplikation des gleichen Gießwassers via Sprühflasche. In week 6 the twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE and in the meantime they have TOTALLY FILLED OUT the space in the HOMEBOX tent. Therefore on day 41 (=flowering day 13) its time to DEFOLIATE the plants and take off the biggest fan-leaves and lowest branches of each plant (see in video). In this second week of flowering they continue to get fed every watering with MILLS NUTRIENTS (following their feeding schedule from the MILLS website I changed from 1 ml START-R to 1 ml of C-4 now) and since they have a healthy dark-green color nothing further needs to be done. The SANlight LEDs are still dimmed to 60% (=one GREEN LIGHT on dimmer ON) and are appr. 70 cm above the top of the plants. The humidity inside the tent is dropping now, it went from 59% (due to bad weather outside and nothing I can change) to 41 % right now.

I don’t really need it yet but it looks nice 😆🥦 Started with lst today Day 19: started to defoliate today, not much just 2/3 leaves each plant! Day 20: hey guys! Shit is about to go down!!!! Finally some work with the girls… I hate the early fragile days. As you guys can see I topped my girls, but hahaha I just noticed that I accidentally FIMed one plant😂 I love training my plants as much as possible. I will let them recover some days before I defoliat again. I defoliate all the way to week 1 in flower.

Good progress overall. I'm thinking of changing the pot size for this space. Flowering has started for all the plants, so the nutrient supply is the same. Things are starting to get simpler at this stage of cultivation.

FBT 2401 is going good. She has gotten acclimated, and found the solution. 🤞🏻 it isn't too strong. Hopefully she takes it well, and explodes in growth. 2024-05-15 No big thing to report, The Planties doing well, established in the new Pot- I placed them in the youngsters room, so they will get stronger light, and gettting more solid structure. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.

Chelsea is doing well. Resin is starting to show on her leaves. Some hairs are showing orange on bud sites. She’s officially taller than my first grow with Durban Poison. I added a bit of Golden Tree this round. Because why not? It’s golden tree!

It’s week 5 of flowering, and things are looking fantastic! The adjusted nutrients for the coco substrate have clearly made a difference, as both plants are thriving and continue to develop thick layers of trichomes. ✨ Interestingly, the non-LST plant is starting to show some unique color variations, which is surprising given that both are from the same strain. This unexpected twist adds a bit of excitement, and I’m curious to see how it will develop over the next few weeks. When it comes to scent, the differences are striking! The LST variant has a bold and distinct Lemon Haze aroma—zesty and citrusy 🍋💨 while the non-LST plant gives off a fruity-sweet smell that’s incredibly rich and inviting. 🍓🍭 Unfortunately, my camera broke this week, and now I’m dealing with some low-quality pictures. 📷😔 While it’s frustrating not to capture the plants in their full glory, I’ll do my best to document their progress as clearly as possible. Overall, both plants are doing great, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out in the final stretch! 💚

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

We are starting to get the nitrogen issue handled. She was almost white! lol now all new growth is a healthy green, just in time to stop, and start giving her Phos. She just ate every drop of nutrients out of her soil during stretch. I think the white spots on some of the leaves are light bleaching so we went ahead and raised the lights another 12" to 36" total now. We also noticed it looks like her roots receded back into the soil some? Does that make sense? This is chopping week. Im starting to see more amber trichomes so I know they are right there. I will most likely chop tomorrow morning. These plants are absolutely beautiful. Truly showed their fall colors and the potent aroma they both are putting out. So excited to get these dried and cured so I can finally test them out and give you guys a smoke report. Come back in 2 weeks and I'll have more on that.

Woche 3 (4seit Keimung) – Vegetationsphase startet richtig durch Die Mädels sind jetzt offiziell in Woche 4 angekommen und man merkt deutlich, dass sie langsam in die nächste Phase gehen. Das Wachstum hat in den letzten Tagen nochmal spürbar angezogen und die Struktur wird von Tag zu Tag stabiler. Alle Pflanzen stehen aktuell in 15L Töpfen und entwickeln sich insgesamt sehr gleichmäßig, auch wenn man langsam erste Unterschiede zwischen den Strains erkennt. ⸻ Pflanzenentwicklung Die meisten Pflanzen zeigen jetzt eine schöne, kompakte Struktur mit kurzen Internodien und kräftigen Stämmen. Besonders die GMO bleibt schön gedrungen, während z. B. Blueberry und teilweise Runtz etwas mehr nach oben wollen. Die Blätter sind satt grün und vital, das neue Wachstum ist teilweise etwas heller, was aber bei dem Tempo absolut normal ist. Insgesamt wirken alle Pflanzen gesund und stressfrei. ⸻ Licht & Setup Die Lampe wird weiterhin schrittweise erhöht (aktuell moderat gefahren), was sich positiv auf den Wuchs auswirkt. Kein Stretch, keine Anzeichen von Lichtstress – genau so soll’s sein. Momentan steht die SF3000 bei 50% Leistung mit einem Abstand von 45-50cm. Der Abstand passt aktuell gut, ich werde die Intensität weiterhin in kleinen Schritten steigern. ⸻ Klima Die Bedingungen sind aktuell ziemlich stabil: • Temperatur: ~20–23°C • Luftfeuchtigkeit: ~60–65% • VPD: ~0.9 kPa Damit liege ich ziemlich genau im optimalen Bereich für die Vegi. ⸻ Gießen Gegossen wird weiterhin kontrolliert im äußeren Ring, um die Wurzeln nach außen zu ziehen. Die Bodenfeuchte liegt aktuell bei ~34%, was sich als sehr guter Wert herausgestellt hat. Man merkt jetzt schon, dass der Wasserverbrauch langsam anzieht. Liege jetzt bei 500ml jeden 3. Tag. ⸻ Nährstoffe Aktuell läuft noch alles über die vorgedüngte Erde. Da jetzt Woche 4 gestartet ist, werde ich in den nächsten Tagen anfangen, den Green House Bio Bloom vorsichtig einzuarbeiten, damit die Nährstoffe rechtzeitig verfügbar sind, wenn die Vorblüte einsetzt. ⸻ Ausblick In den nächsten Tagen wird sich entscheiden, wie stark ich eingreife. Leichtes LST ist geplant – vor allem bei den etwas streckfreudigeren Pflanzen, um ein gleichmäßiges Canopy zu bekommen. Ansonsten gilt weiterhin: beobachten, reagieren, nicht übertreiben. ⸻ Fazit Ich bin aktuell echt zufrieden mit dem Stand. Die Pflanzen sehen gesund aus, das Setup läuft stabil und alles entwickelt sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Vielen Dank fürs reinschauen meine growmis, Updates folgen 🏻
