Tag 67: Ich gebe keinen Dünger mehr und in einer Woche wird dann geerntet.

These Thunderfucks were planted outside, early may. They survived a dynamic spring and didn't grow in full potential. Still they thrived on their own and produced solid purple/green buds. Very smelly, a multilayered odeurscape with nuts, citrus, gassy and mint. A characteristic modern autohybrid with solid genetics. One plant developed budrot in one bud. I was early and saved the plant. I drycure it apart from the others tough. Reason is the dense budgrowth and a full day of rain followed bij some cloudy days. I tried to shake the buds dry from water but didn't succeed completely. Plants were on their end and I was pushing them, still hoping for some sunny days. Well sun came back but too late for that branch on plant 3, the only plant who didn't turn purple and has the most minty smell. Plants needed close observation and LST/defoliation, not a very easy grow but very rewarding in yield and pure fun. At the end this is a very characteristic premium plant, gave me lots of fun and only a small portion of diva behaviour. Recommended.

This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Gorilla Cookies. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Gorilla Cookies growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Miracle Grow needs to remain for garden vegetables and flowers NOT cannibas. As a result, I have made an Executive Decision and will going add some @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the remainder this grow. @Hindugod and I have been growing our Gorilla Cookie plants simultaneously and his plants look thicker than mine do. His weather has not been as hard on his plants as I have had here in Virginia. He is also using different nutrients. Week 3 Day 2 8/27/2023 Topped her a little and took a little from the bottom. The PH was just a little high so I added 4mil PH down to get it to 5.86. Week 3 Day 3 8/28/2023 Topped her a little and just enjoyed her beauty. Week 3 Day 4 8/29/2023 Topped her a little, and started cleaning up the lower 1/3, I am starting with the fan leaves that are touching the clay and some of the lower, lower portion but leaving the stems for when I take clones. Week 3 Day 5 8/30/2023 The temp has been getting to 79-80 the last few days and I don't like it that high. I lowered the light to 29 inches and decreased intensity to reach the 350ppfd for the plants. By dropping the light it should also drop the temperature. I took a few bottom leaves as I start my clean up, leaving the lower stems for clone material for now. Week 3 Day 6 8/31/2023 Found out why the temp had been getting so high in my tent and my grow room, the controller for my other light for my other tent was malfunctioning and overheating. I guess this was the unknown contributing factor to the sudden increase in temp, how am I sure about this, because the light no work no more. I am working with Spider-Farmer Warranty since the light was under a year old, very sad day yesterday was to replace my SE 7000 on my breeding plant which was in week 9 of flower with a VS2000 I am thinking I am going to have to cut my losses. On a good note she looks Amazing full on Growth Spurt happening, I adjusted the PH up slightly to get it from 5.81, to 5.89. Tomorrow Measurements incoming. Week 3 Day 7 9/1/2023 She is looking beautiful this morning! I took off some lower leaves cleaning up the bottom 1/3 but I left some of the Stems because I know I am taking clones in a few weeks. She has grown 5 inches over this last week.

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. Back into Veg again, never Lollipoped anything before. Was tough not cropping them buds lol the few I did have to were delicious! In the big square green pot to the left of the little silver haze X critical XXL is several different cuttings off three different zkittles plants. One showing bright purple buds the other is less colourful. The silver haze X critical XXL has had the lowest branch converted to produce male sacs for seeds wasn't very successful so I'm lollypoping to try again. The other Greenhouse has my favourite large Zkittles which I had a few buds off! Superb taste. Three chocolate skunk in the same pot two smaller one where fully converted to male. Had all the best cola buds of her also delicious smoke. Aim is to cross chocolate skunk with zkittles hopefully with more success this time round!

Kong was an absolute trooper I have to cut her a few weeks early due to budworm causing bud rot. I will be trimming her down washing after removing infected areas. I hope i can save some of the fruits. After 6 hours i have 750g of flower washed and drying. Any buds that where on the same stem as the bud rot have been placed at the bottom of the drying wrack just in case the peroxide doesn’t work

Germination

It´s here! Plants are now switched to 12/12 schedule to start flowering phase. Leaving the MH bulb for growing for this week before I will switch bulb to HPS for flowering. Keeping these flowering nutrients on the same level. Continue with little bit of LST and defoliation of unhealthy lower leaves. Also, I´m now trying to lower temperature a little bit. My goal is to maintain 24-25°C during the day and 18-19°C during the night. I´m curious if dropping temperature will lead to more purple buds. We will see.
