With this thick headbud, there is a risk of getting wet and bad weather and we dont want any budrod so we cut the headbud after 66 days from seed to harvest we took away some fan leafs and hung it up to dry. the lower buds may need a few more days. 5/28 I think she's about to go off. 6/2 she's been droopy leafed for a bit. I backed off on nutrients for over a week. I thought it may have been overwatering but at the same time I don't want to kill off the microbe life in my soil right now by letting it get overly dry. I'm more experienced with coco and the dry back is more aggressive and intense and with soil it's a little different and slower but it als9 cant dry back as

Not an awful week, not great though. I seem to have developed a fungus gnat issue, albeit small as of yet I'm taking appropriate measures to get rid of them. First I drenched all the pots with a 1:4 peroxide:water mixture(1l total liquid) and let the soil dry out over a few days(it was already fairly dry). Once that dried I added nematodes to each pot. I've given the nematodes 4 days so far and I'm adding defender mites(stratiolaelaps scimitus) to the soil tomorrow. I have yellow traps everywhere as well. I'm also getting rid of my wood chips(most of them) for the rest of this grow for a faster drying time on my soil. I'm really happy how the freak has been turning out. I'm super excited to try it! The amount of harvest was good even though I lost basically one whole plant to the meldew. So the harvest would have even been double.. But yeah I can not complain about the quantity. I will see how the smoke test goes 💪

SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L. DAY 93 ----------- Friday 26th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 740ml runoff (25%). [26°C/48%] DAY 94 ----------- Saturday 27th March 18:30 I fed Jesus its last ever feeding, 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 560ml runoff (19%). [26°C/48%] DAY 95 ----------- Sunday 28th March 18:30 I flushed Jesus with tap water straight from the hose. Super excited for this run. I'm always on the search for new quality genetics and fruity terps. This time I chose Elev8. I watched an interview with them and decided to try. They start all their genetics with high quality clone cuts. Pretty interesting and if you ask me that's how I'd do it if I was gonna to something like that. Water for 36 hours then in the solo cup. 80% filled with my mix and the top 20% is just coco/perlite. 5/6 popped up. We begin!

Flowering nutes included and another Rain Shower has just begun the process of feeding these Ladies - regionally, we will hit the 14hr of Sunlight mark, which happens this weekend; Flower it is - PurpsBerry is in Week 5 of Flower, looking strong. Pics to follow - short video looks at the bamboo / trellis that was installed on rOOF95 and CloudWalker 10th - bamboo used to open up PurpsBerry and provide some support for these swelling Branches. Forget individual buds, these branches are getting phat. - contacted TH Seeds re rOOF95. They claim its a short Indica… and we just hit 10’. No mislabelling or mix-ups. This was direct from pkg to water. Diary Entry for Growth Project: Day 24 - Today, a slower-growing plant was effectively moved from its soil environment into an idle hydroponic system. With this transition, the count of prospering plants stands at eight, with a couple more still being monitored due to uncertain growth. Significant discoveries include the paramount importance of light distance to the plants, which was underestimated initially. Further, it has been found that genetically modified seeds hold no superiority over the prevalent autoflower seed market. Additionally, the positioning of the plant and the volume of medium placed between the plants and the water source have been recognized as key determinants in accelerating early stage growth. Welcome to the Day 25 update of our grow journal. I must apologize for the slight confusion - although the video says it’s day 23, today indeed marks the 25th day of our journey. I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve had a successful transplant. The plants are now settling nicely into their new environments. The question now at hand is, should we introduce stress training? As we move into days 26 and 27, I have been pondering on this. High-stress training can sometimes stimulate growth, but in our current situation, it might not be the most prudent course of action. This time around, we are expecting all our plants in the grow tent to blossom concurrently. In light of this, I’m leaning towards letting nature take its course rather than intervening with stress training. By doing so, we will allow our plants to focus their energy solely on flowering. The goal here is to encourage the production of dense and frosty buds, the hallmark of a successful growth cycle. What a world of difference a week can make when growing auto-flowers. I did a lot of maintenance on these girls the last couple of days. See pics and videos. Two of the plants have stretched out nicely. The other three are falling behind, but looking very nice. There is a strong citrus smell happening right now. Smells like I have a tent full of fresh lemons. Started using Big Bud and Bud Candy this past week. Tent 2as getting quite crowded, so I also moved the water reservoir on the outside of the tent. It was very hard to cut a lot of those beautiful buds off the plants, but I think it will pay off. I also got the new Vivosun Grow Cams, so far I like them, but I do have some feed back.

.... Really good week but the work continues. The stretch is on. The 2 ladies on the extreme left has a proper stretch going on. It may be due to those are the girls I mainlined or it could be the blurple lights that both of them are under. Still removing some of the thick lower growth below the netting. its think but i remove just a little everynight for a gentle reduction in foliage. Not pictured here but on Day 12 white hairs were beginning to show. A few issues with high humidity during lights on or high heat when the dehumidifier is on. No strain specific smells as yet. Huge difference observed between the mainlined strains ( Orange Sherbert and Green Gelato) and the other LST strains in the tent. The stems of the mainlined strains tend to be fatter and there is a significant reduction on foliage on the mainlined strains. The LST strains (Blue Gelato 41 and the Vanilla Kush) are more bushy, squat with heavy foliage. Also not so much as a long stretch.
