Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Lots of defoliation this week as mildew continues to spread. I have now found the right balance of H2O2 and water foliar spray. I have also added an additional fan and new fresh air hose.

Last week i found some seeds grown in the bids and i released them. Was a bit of work but i think its worth it. I start to give just water for both kush, the haze will get 2 weeks nutrients. Hope that come more seeds. Have a nice week✌️

Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.

7/15 (Day 28)- Everything seems to be going well and everything is staying in check. I’ve been adding around 1 gallon of nutes ppm to 550 and ph 5.8 to res around every 12 hours. Having to defoliate some every couple days to unblock light. These are very short bushy girls. I’ve been doing some light LST as well, mainly just lightly bending some as I defoliate. Roots look nice, big and healthy. My humidity during the night is starting to be a concern. It’s getting high and my little dehumidifier is not doing much. Will monitor and continue update daily. 7/16 (Day 29)- Started off the day with a gallon of nutes to top off res, then did some light LST, just trying to figure out the best way to do that. Trying to keep them all even. They continue to grow like crazy and each day I have to pluck a few leaves here and there to open up some light for the newer smaller growths. Everything is in check, water and bite change in the morning. 7/17 (Day 30)- They continue their short, rapid, bushy growth. Flushed and added fresh water and nutes. PM to 500 and PH 5.8. Everything stays in check. 7/18 (Day 31)- Progress continues, did some more light defoliation and added another gallon of nutes to res. 7/19 (Day 32)- Things continue along. Didn’t do much today, just monitored and added a gallon in the morning and a little before lights off. 7/20 (Day 33)- Pretty much same as yesterday. Probably going to take another stab at some LST and light defoliation on Saturday. 7/21 (Day 34)- Same as previous two days. Just monitored and made sure everything was good, they are drinking about 2 gallons a day now. I also added a dehumidifier to the room, humidity at night was getting really high so we will see how this helps. Tomorrow starts a new week and I'm excited to see the timelapse tomorrow. Another strong week, opted to do some last minute defoliation just to help afew bud sites get light. Shes frosting beautifully ;)

Moved to 5 gallon bucket for a bigger root ball. Buds are starting to swell and doing fine. Pictures are from Feb 20th day 29 of flower. Moved the White Widow and Royal Gorilla out of the 4x4 tent so the Critical has more room to move around.

The height growth on Kings Juice had stopped from past week and half but the buds are looking good with quite amount of tricomes. Lemon orange is a giant now with some good strong bud growth. im only afraid its close to the light approx. 10 inches; so far the bud feels good and firm. Also been adjusting the water PH time to time and doing top of water with gallon and half for both DWC with the strong mix mentioned, as well as PPM balance between 850-900 for both. Lemon Orange so big and fat, I cant even access Kings Orange!!! I want to fix them but removing trellis net with LST cable tied to them is a freaking NIGHTMARE!

Week 9 the flushing begins! Mandarin dreams 1 & 2 are both looking happy and healthy. Frosty ladies with a unique smell, especially #2, she's the star of th grow. Excited for harvest, in the next 4-5 days. Thanks for stopping by growfessors! 👽🌳🔥

23/4 : Received the Migro Aray 240W so i switched the lamps in the box. I'm not using the old 600w LED fixture. It will grow even better with the new light !!! 👽 Still don't have a basic grow nutrient, will try to grab one soon. 2 Pink Gasoline and 1 Capri Zun didn't make it unfortunaltely 😞 25/4 : The Migro light delivers the first results !! Also i ordered the whole FloraFlex nutrient line. Can't wait to receive these 😊

Back to lst, my homemade scrog wasn’t too good so I decided to order a professional one for the next grow in the meanwhile I tide them back doing lst Also now they are really growing bigger and bigger Again not sure if I’m doing a good job only time will speak Got a microscope posted a pic and video of how my watermelon is doing with its flowers, the northern light is still not in full flower but its switching

Week 15: July 5 2020 - July 11 2020 It was insanely hot again this week. The plants were drinking pretty much daily and they needed it. Finally got a break in the weather with some rain this weekend. Plants are thriving and super healthy.
