Spotted some budrot again. This time I had enough of it and didn't want to risk further rot, so I decided to harvest them and not let them flower for another week. Forgot to take pictures before the trim, they look silly now without the support from the copperdreads and rubberwires haha. They had 8 weeks of flowering, I'm glad that 1 out of 2 came out nicely. The other one is just another regular looking outside plant lol. I always give them a first trim, so the buds can dry better, faster, safer. After some days or maybe at the end of drying, i will trim them again. You can expect the final update with pictures between 7 to 14 days from now. ps, Somehow the beautifull colors from the better plant doesn't show properly when filming or taking pictures, neighter am I a professional photographer. But ill promise to take better ones, once the buds got the final trim and got dried.

Lowered height of light to stop seedlings stretching, also turned humidifier off as soil staying very moist, have barely watered this week once every 4 days, think the soil is absorbing water through the fabric pots from the humidifier. This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

Alaskan purple auto is doing good. She is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She has started to shoot her pre flowering pistils. Also she is starting to stretch. Everything is looking good, and hopefully I can place in the contest. PPFD at canopy height approximately 650-700 (Increase slowly), VPD ~1 - 1.2 Removed the autopots for now, because i had big problems with PH. Didnt washed the clay pebbles enough i think.. Week 7 Flower - Notice that the tops of some of the Tops are pretty hard. Think they got a bit cooked by the LED... Hifi 4G & Blueberry Pics are missing from this week...I thought I had taken some footage, but seems that I got distracted. Work has been nuts so not surprising that I gapped on that. Hifi 4G is needed more support. Looks like a blue ribbon chaos around it. Blueberry looks fantastic.

Last defoliation before flipping. Next defoliation planned for day 13, 25 and 35 in flower. She built a dense “sea” of tops through LST—everything is spread out evenly and reacting exactly how I want. Super nice structure overall. Really impressed by her thick stem and how well she handles the training. She’s very thirsty and takes the Advanced Nutrients like a champ.

I know it’s been a few weeks. I been traveling like crazy and haven’t really been home enough to get good pics of the plants. Here’s a photo dump of what the grow looks like now. One thing I’ve noticed is my leaves are a very dark purple compared to the other growers I’ve been seeing on here. Tell me what you think in the comments

Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

Has been flushing now for approximately two weeks. She really is not showing major signs of distress from flush. Mostly cloudy trichromes on buds with a few amber ones.
