Biggest Autoflower Ever - Pineapple Express was the GOAT. 479 Grams Dry Weight, 78 Days from seed to Harvest Was a big surprise having almost a HALF KILOGRAM FROM AUTOFLOWER, Always thought 500 grams per square meter description was a legend but no, IT CAN BE TRUE Good luck to all my grower fellas, I will not stop on growing in hydro, even tho half of this run was in handmade hydro. It was my third hydro Grow and I see the Improvement Last one was only 300 Grams dry weight Strawberry Banana from FB Pinepple Express itself is a 10/10 strain, it says mostly Indica but feels like the best Sativa I have ever tried, great pineapple smell and taste, hits like Mike Tyson, perfect strain and YUMMY as hell, loved it, will grow it again probably as it's not only mine favorite strain. 📅 Week 9 – Day 63 / FLO 35 BOX: 80x80 – 250W lamp 🌞 Temp: 26°C 💦 RH: 55% 💥 PPFD: 800+ µmol 🌬️ VPD: 1.5 1.6 ⚡ EC: 1.4 The battle continues – never again big plants in small pots 😅 It’s really hard to keep them in perfect condition, there’s almost no room for mistakes. I’m keeping VPD high to push metabolism and speed up bud development. Watering is split into two cycles per day, EC around 1.4–1.5. Fans are set just right – enough to make the leaves slightly move, but not enough to stress the pistils. Stay tuned – and keep growing 🌱

The plants are in the 2nd week of flower and the pistols are staring to show it. That confirms that all of the plants are female.

I can’t wait to see how this journey unfolds! Dialing in the VPD with TrolMaster’s Tech Now, let’s talk VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and how I’ve been keeping everything in check with the Tend-X and the incredible (DSH-2U) Humidity Station. In the soil, readings are around 415 ppm, with temperatures hovering around 25°C The plants are absolutely thriving, and I can already see the difference this new feed is making. Tuesday February 28th I dropped 5 Exotic Genetix “Yikes” in ph’d to 6 water. After 8 hours they’ll go into paper towels. Eventually ending up in rockwool. This is my first time running a RDWC system. I have to thank @budz_alot for helping me get this all together!!!

Solid week with good growth. Thinking about doing some lst later this week.

--FRIDAY I mixed up a 1/3 strength batch of nutes plus a little bud candy to start up their high-carb diet and douched the bigger bitches pretty well. I gave a splash to the little girls too. I also mixed up a 1/3 strength batch of grow big and started foliar feeding everybody but the seedling.. I alternate foliar feeding with spring water misting a few times a day in total. --SATURDAY was a dry day. Only foliar feeding, and spring water for the seedling. all the girls loved their Friday dose...little gals notably bigger as seen in the photos. Tomorrow I increase to half strength nutes for the big girls and maybe the smaller ones if they look ready and continue my misting regimen. Tracking my package from Crop King..can't wait to get 3 more WW wet and max out my space! --SUNDAY the girls got some PH'd water and a couple of foliar feedings and a spring water misting. --MONDAY I received a package from Crop King Seeds! However, it wasn't my replacement White Widow AFs, but rather the Candy Cane AFs.that I ordered the same day...doh! Being the impatient fucker that I am, I put 3 CC's into a glass of spring water rather than wait on the WW's to arrive. The other plants already have such a head start that I didn't want to wait another minute to get the rest of the crop started. So, I've only got 2 WW's this go-round....c'est la vie. With any luck all three CC's will germinate and grow to specimen plants. I also mixed up a 1-gallon batch of 1/2 strength nutes and fed everybody...even the mystery seedling. DId a nutrient misting and lowered my lights about 2 inches and added a 100w (equiv) cool white CFL and 120w cool white LED to the mix. They and the 3 x 50w blue/white Par38s remain on when the primary light and ventilation fans turn off for a couple hours of CO2 "bathing" PPM's get up to about 1200 by the end of the 2 hours. and temps climb to about 87 before the ventilation and primary light kicks back on. I might increase the "night phase" to 3 hours once there's a lot more vegetation in the tent so as to really dose them with C02. The mystery seedling overstretched immediately and has not been impressive at all....we'll see...It's getting super-dosed with blues and whites, so maybe... TUESDAY: dry day....foliar feedings only. Dropped the 3 CC's into wet paper towel...fingers crossed. WEDNESDAY (July 4th): All 3 CC's popped! 2 had 3/4" tap roots, so they got planted. The other will get planted in the morning. Having learned my lesson from the WW's that didn't make it to the light of day, I created a mix of 60% vermiculite + 30% perlite and 10% happy frog and created "pockets" for my new seedlings in the center of 5 g pots. I mixed up a 1-gallon batch of 1/2 strength nutes and fed everybody. Mystery seedling is still pathetic..

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone!
