Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

Peyote Cookies coming on well. Haven't topped her as I'd like to see her natural structure before making adjustments for the second run. End of week 2 Flower, all Grow nutrients stopped and will just be flowering nutrients till around week 6 flower.

Nothing much to report apart from I can now smell lemonade. Going away for 3 weeks so have topped up the water tank.

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

The seed was adde to a half shoot cup of water and 48hrs in water the seed germinated. Soon after the seed was planted and 4 days later the seed sprouted.

WOW. She’s going to easily double. I’m going to have to do some serious bending. She’s developing quite nicely but I didn’t expect her to double based on her description. Maybe I have an odd pheno? Oh well, I’ll do the best I can to control her.

Removing any yellowing bottom leaves from all plants. Blue Afghan has started greening at the top and buds are developing nicely. The Mac N Jack and the cherry garseeya are competing for fastest flowering, buds are gonna be massive and I have a feeling the Blue Afghan will catch up nicely.

This week was good, Did the transplant from 7.5L/2Gal to 28L/7Gal, Stared to do some LST but the main stem broke on two "blue and Red" of the three plants. Kinda sucks but a bit to aggressive, on the third plant "yellow" I also used LST just not as strong and got the shape and placement I was looking for. Will have to wait for the others to heal and then I can try again. IDK how long it will take, but I'll give it a full week. Sucks as the tips will be getting more light then the others. I also ran out of soil so had to make up a half batch as well to top off the pots, got about 8L leftover for transplanting the peppers and what not, tents so full I had to remove the clones and one smaller plant. They are growing in a window now. The extras where Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4, Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4, Gaia Green Insect Frass 3-2-4, Gaia Green Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, Bokashi Grains, Epsom Salts, Yeast Powder, Fluvic Acids, Enzymes, Silicon and Multiple Microbes. PH adjusted really low as the amendments have a lot of rock dusts and such, wanted them to be broken down by the time the roots reach em. Watered in with 4L on each container, Should be ok for the first few days, will need to judge how they are doing in a bit and see if their roots are colonizing the new area. no idea how the clones will do outside the tent, Still have them in a plastic bag till I can see roots in the containers they are in. Checking about once a week. My goal is to veg this out for another 3-4 weeks and top it one last time they switch to bloom with a SROG net, should have good coverage and lots of cola sites per plant. Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Things are going good this week. I see a few yellow leaves on the bottom which is normal. It smells like sweet candied mango in here. Wonderful or should I say Delicious!! I am seeing some small, Thrips signs, on a few leaves, but nothing to worry about. They are over their trimming/pruning up stress now and are bulking up. I see the resin is in full production now. They are getting small amounts of food each day from the hydroponic system. And I hand watered with rain water yesterday. Each plant got 2 gallons. The reservoir lasts 6 days and 7 if I add the dehumidifier water to the reservoir daily. Easy Peasy. I read this article on hypochlorous acid and wanted to make my own rather than buy stuff to kill pests and handle fungus. I now have something I can whip up in 1 hour that can handle most problems I deal with inside and outside. The article said to use it at 1/2 strength inside and I would put plastic over the pots to keep it off the roots. Sounds good. We'll see. Be Great. Chuck.

06/20/2018 Did some supercropping on #1, Fimmed #4 she showing pre-flowers. Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . After I changed the lamps to 2 x 200 watts, the plant on the left also started to bloom. I gradually had my equipment delivered and starting to go "Professional". AC Infinity Controller and exhaust fan, from now on I can also check my values ​​from outside
