I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.

Lower leaves started turning light green / yellow . I flushed with 4-5l of water, the runoff was dark LOL maybe nutrient lockout started. Good thing I caught on early Day 5 since the flush, the soil is soaked, but there’s no new yellow foliage!

Just got into a new tent . ( 4x8) have a few clones I took from my last run and popped a couple more seeds. Thanks for looking happy growing.

Week 3 - Should see a lot of growth this week. Maybe try to train them a little this weekend. I kept the one girl a little too wet for a little too long and got some yellowing on the bottom leaves. Already starting to correct itself. I’ll give them a few days to dry out a little and adjust to their new digs then I’ll hit them with some nutrients… FoxFarms Dirty Dozen week 3 scheduled feeding at half strength. Day 17 - fed/watered 1/2gal per pot. Ph’ed @ 6.3 Day 19 - watered with carbon filtered tap water (forgot to ph. So ph was 6.9. The soil itself is pretty acidic, so the runoff ph still tested at 6.3. And we’re 12 hours in now with no adverse effects). Gave them about a gallon each (till I saw about 10% runoff). Day 20 - moved the lights from being hung directly from the tent frame to hanging on a hoist. This lowered them about 4”, which increased the temp to 82, so I turned on the exhaust fan to bring it back down to 77. In a small tent like this, atmosphere control is most of the work

Chopped on day 84. 2.96 Oz of flower after 7 day drying. Will update review post cure and smoke report. Smells like grapes so the name suits in perfectly

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Start of week 6. Week 5 went really well, this Blue Dream lady is packing on bud weight, size, density and she has a sweet smell and sticky buds and leaves! She has shown some signs of deficiency throughout the grow, but it has been minor and only in the largest leaves.

No more fertilization, nice bushy plant.... She needs a bit more time minimum 2 weeks but it can be 3 also. All good just being flushed and waiting for the perfect moment to be harvested. Nice one. :)

Nach dem Umtopfen ging es direkt weiter mit einem ordentlichen Wachstumsschub – richtig schön anzusehen! Die Pflanzen haben den Wechsel super weggesteckt und legen jetzt ordentlich zu. Alles verläuft bisher nach Plan, ohne nennenswerte Komplikationen. Die Symptome des Calciummangels sind komplett verschwunden – die neuen Blätter sehen gesund und kräftig aus. Offensichtlich zeigt die angepasste Düngung Wirkung. Auch die Thripse scheinen erfolgreich bekämpft worden zu sein. Ich konnte bisher keine neuen Spuren entdecken – hoffentlich bleibt das so. Heute stand noch ein wenig Entlaubung auf dem Programm, um Licht und Luft besser ins Innere der Pflanze zu bringen und die Schimmelgefahr weiter zu minimieren.
