Germ day 1: I started 7 Fast Buds seeds today. Dropped them directly in pure sunshine #4 mix with a pinch of mychorrizae around the seed. Gave them a thorough spray of Voodoo Juice and 6.5 ph water. I had great success with the last round of Fast Buds I ran and have seen some great here on GD. I can’t see why this would be any different. Happy Growing 🌱 There’s a couple pics of a just for fun outdoor Fast Buds Amnesia Haze. It was made from an Amnesia Haze plant I grew past summer and was pollinated by agricultural Hemp. This one is pollinated as well, but a big beast nonetheless. Shows how big these Fast Buds plants can get. 👍🏻👍🏻 Aug 18: Bubblegum, skunk and Russian broke ground, should be standing tall today. Aug 20: 100% success in germination.

We've reached the end of the penultimate week. This girl's buds are also very dense, resinous, and fragrant. Based on the trichome analysis, she's at a great point. 😎 In the 15 days before harvest, I start watering only with RO water and a pH of 6.2. At the beginning of the last week, and about 3 days before harvest, I'll flush with RO + Cleanse 10mL.

Hi Growmies Here we are at the expected finish time and the most mature of these ladies ( #1) is still only starting to cloud up her trichromes. Lots of clear ones still waiting to start ripening though and next to no Amber trichs yet. Looking at the burnt orange pistils and her overall appearance , without checking her trichromes, I would have harvested her too early. Well worth the investment to hit their sweet spots. The other two ladies are filling put nicely too with plenty of mains within the canopy. Their lowers could have done with more light from a good defol but I wanted to are how much difference it would make. The #1 has been on just water the past few days but no signs of her cannibalising herself yet. The other two are finishing up their second tomladt feed and I plan 1 more before I flush them for their ripening. I think that the 3 weeks for flowers to appear after the flip may have added the extra time to their finish. Until next time , be well.

As I said, she has become a single fat dense and sticky main cola, very compacted, looks like it's just 1 huge fat nugget. Very nice aroma but not stinky at all. I'm enjoying her, she's not very big but she's literally a single big fat nugget.

It's Day 54 Week 08 0f Flower For My 02 Kombucha Cream by atlasseed . And For My Snow White and SpliffStrawberry by Spliff Seeds Amsterdam . So Today I Started My Day By Checking My Tricomes On My 2 Kombucha Cream. The 02 Where Looking Fully Milky So My 02 Kombucha Cream Got Flushed TODAY with Some Flawless Finish by Advanced Nutrients . The 2 Received 80ml of Flawless Finish mix with 1OGallons Of Water Ph at 6.0. Tomorrow they will get Rinse off with ph balance water. Yesterday I watered my Snow White and SpliffStrawberry Ppm where down to 100ppm. All 4 Plants will get a nice ice bath in a few days. My plan is to check the Tricomes on the SpliffStrawberry In a few more days she was still Milky when I check her yesterday. I will chop her down next weekend. And the rest will get the chop at 30%Amber Tricomes. Happy Growing Growmies 🤘🏻

Major stretching this week! starting to fro up with pre flowers & have been selectively defoliating as usual about every to every other day during the time spent with bought 3 scorg nets like a noob. taking 1 down

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. I have the impression of being in a cotton field. Her effect is much more sativa as well. ✔️Pheno 2 : The strawberry taste is much more pronounced. In this phenotype, there is a not at all unpleasant mint aftertaste !! ✔️Pheno 3 : the effect is felt very quickly. In a few seconds, you find yourself in a state of joy. It's very nice !!!!

🎅 So, as for the smoke after 30 days of harvest day. Biscotti Mints have a high concentration of THC, definitely above 25%, you can feel it. Beginners should exercise caution. -The taste, I wouldn't exactly call it mint. It's similar to peppermint, but it doesn't taste like mint, it tastes like flowers. Bottom line, the taste is similar to pepper flowers. -The effect is only evening, not daytime. It will be good for an evening relaxation or in the company of friends. -The appearance is something beautiful. Everyone who saw him liked him. Dense, stone buds, green-violet color.

Things are coming to an end for pheno #3! She’s starting to fade out nicely and her smell is ripe. I’m thinking another week or two weeks max before she gets chopped! I’m currently feeding with plain water and microbes to let this girl finish out nicely 👌

5th week of flower, the plant has stopped growing and focused on the buds. Both plants look nice, I’m hoping the 3 gallon plant gets fatter before the end though.

Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. Flower get bigger everyday make me feel so nicely i add more nutrients to 1000 ppm before add Terpinator hope they're flowering well.
