Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

This plant is an example of top shelf genetics. With very little effort on my part aside from some basic LST on the bottom 8 branches this lady became a serious bush of colas, but with more than enough space for ample light exposure. Smells like sweet spices and kush with an undertone of citrus. Heavy feeder and a quick finisher.

gulag tercermundista vol. 2 'killer kush fast version de sweet seeds' , esta wea quedo tan flayte que debo mostrarlo en mi lengua madre, como si estuviera hablando alguien que fuera igual de aficionado que yo y tb le de brigido a los bongazos sordidos. weno :) , corregi algunos errores del cultivo anterior,cambiando tambien el sustrato a organic life light mix que fue una experiencia nueva* , que en conjunto a los tiempos que di pensando que seria un repollo indicon, bien confiao le di un mes y una semana de vegeta que pasaron volando se presento tuve un stretch asi de adolescente por lo que la moraleja que puedo dejar como en el contexto de asegurar una buena vegeta, sin saberlo la estaba vendiendo porque no es aprovechar el espacio, es agregar otro nivel de dificultad y riesgo en este caso fue una buena resolucion pero debo advertirlo xq si me hubiera entrao una plaga en flora estaria mas cagao que calsoncillo de milico ctm), fuera de eso tambien sirve no como referencia general de que es algo que te puede pasar con og kush y sus variantes, como esta , y tambien algo que tiene algo de rudelaris para acortar su floracion , al respecto , que 8 de 9 hayan dado diferente tipo de frutas, algunas de hermosa calidad. cultivar ahi es rapido, y se seca muy rapido en verano ctm , pero es un buen sustrato al menos pa germinar y primeras semanas de vegeta rinde, despues muestra carencia muy rapido pero tomenlo como algo bueno, vienen muy acomedidas - imagino que variara levemente lo que sea segun la calidad de agua pero es mejor esperar a que aparezcan sin alimentar o estar dando fertilizantes/estimulantes leves y la carencia tomarle como señal que hay que darle mas comida, especialmente si pueden identificarlas acorde a su propio conocimiento. mi fertilizacion fue top veg, top bloom, top candy, barrier , hesi boost, calmag 2.0 de bac. razon de siempre - no es lo mejor de lo mejor pero es lo mejor que uso relacion precio/calidad porque les doy como chancho. regulo ph con acido citrico , no se mide ec, la temperatura si de hecho al agregar un nuevo termohigrometro descubri que tenia unos puntos ciegos donde no circulaba el calor y quede pal pico mi sistema big dick energy quedo destrosao en eficiencia, pero la tecnica de acumular ventiladores como enfermo, pudo sopesarlo vagamente , mi luxometro es precario pero efectivo , se llama esta wea se vuelve tan instintiva que podria identificar con mis ojos llenos de semen la elongacion causada por carencia de luz y señales de exceso de luz y consiguiente masa calor que genera como cogollos y hojas blanqueadas, resequedad ambiental , y en algunos casos todo esto conlleva a crecimientos deformes dejan de ser tiernos como el fox-tailing. 9x weno, hubo una seleccion media charcha porque puse mas a germinar pensando que no me saldrian tantas pero como de 12, estas fueron como las mejores 9 o una wea asi, criterio de seleccion nivel la lista de schlinder, y weno,las macetas con las que comence fueron pot on pot premeditando su utilidad, luego la generica de 11 lt como tambien asi la luz se incremento y redujo para prevenir momentos que estuvieran a un parametro superior a 28c porque es mas facil reducir el calor que genero que extraerlo en este sistema precario y posiblemente canero, pero que se le puede presentar a mas de una persona , porque el calor ambiental q deben contrarestar puede ser un aliado o enemigo en muchas situaciones de la vida, como este pais presenta un calor extremo en el norte y un frio extremo al sure, imaginense las weas que uno hace por amor a la droga ctm incluyendo lo que los leen desde otros gulags , ser un dimmer humano weon simp por y para de la mota - lo digo por mi y por todos los que sigan leyendo a estas alturas xdddd . intente reusar una malla anterior para tambien prevenir que los cogollos cuando se elongen le peguen al foco y se quemen feo , una de scrog formal puede cumplir el mismo proposito si no tienen intencion de llenarla c:, las plagas son muy poco presente , lo unico que hago ahi es meter barrier debe en cuando en el riego, pero en flora no usaria foliar alguna cosa a menos que fuera una situacion briyida como hongos, que aqui tambien aqui en este espacio reventao, enganchar un hongo o plaga te hace piko altoke. cuidense chamos akakkakakaak meti luces de fiesta porque se ven cool de noche, y algunos pigmentos que genere los rayos uv para protegerse del clima culiao inhospito estilo guerrilla cyberpunk noventero que resulto esta wea fea. big gas leaks energumen@s qlz 😄😄😄

Day 36 - The start of week 6 and things couldn’t be going better. Overnight, she stretched almost 2 inches. Gave her the first feeding of the week today. Still tying down a few branches here and there to try and get more light to the middle of her. Day 37 - No feeding or water today, not quite dried out yet. Stretched another half and inch overnight. Did a little leaf tucking to open her up more. Day 38 - Stretched another inch overnight and she’s now up to 15”. Gave her a full gallon of pH’d water with Calmag. Just waiting for the bud sites to start filling in and fattening. Day 39 - Still stretching, another inch from 15 to 16 now. No water or feed today, just a few pics for progress. Hoping these next couple weeks, she’ll start filling in. Day 40 - Gave her the second and final feeding of the week and looks like she’s starting to fill in a little. Only grew about a half inch overnight so maybe the stretching is slowing down and she’ll start packing on now.

This week the plants have started to get hungry. The 3 gal pots feel solid with roots and the growth has slowed down, so I’ve made the decision to repot into 7 gal. It’s a little late for it but i still think they’ll benefit from the fresh soil and more root space. Currently feeds are Feed 1 .. grow,bloom,topmax,cal-mag Feed 2 .. bio heaven, acti-Vera Feed 3 .. Alg a mic I also added a watering of fish mix to the master kush and alienz to give them some extra N.

Dried already and curing now. Had some complications on the way but im glad with the outcome

We are starting the second week!!! The girls feel good, they are growing like crazy. Tomorrow we will transplant them into larger pots (10 l). I also increase the fertilizer dose to 2 ml/l. Maybe I'll start LST training this week. I still keep the lamps at 30 cm, but I increase the light power to 70%. I'm full of enthusiasm, keep it up! Today I’ll give another e 1 lt of water and Sunday I’ll do another flush. I think will go up to 90 days. Bud will get fatter and fatter🏆. Maybe I could have fertilise two times more, but anyway I’d not a big problem, I’ve been feeding them a lot since the beginning so a more long flush won’t be a problem at all. Flowers coming along well, with frost now developing. Nutrient strength increased now they're gonna be eating more, with Remo grow reduced slightly now they're slowing their growth, but Bloom and AstroFlower have been increased to favour PK. Day 28 will be the last day feeding Growth Tech Liquid Silicone as it takes the longest to completely flush out of the plant. I never feed silicone later than this in flower otherwise you risk hard, black ash with a horrible burn in the end.. More leaves have been stripped here and there, but not too much. Just enough to allow the light to penetrate deeper and to uncover flower sites. Leaf stripping is also a great technique to stunt the growth of selected branches, allowing the others around to catch up and meet the top of the canopy more evenly. 🦊

another week has passed and it is growing and thriving excellently. there has been a lot of sunshine and occasionally the necessary rain from above. it is slowly entering the flowering phase. it has made another good leap in height. i am currently using LST to provide the lower shoots with more sunshine

6/1 I'm anxious to get my plants in their final homes. Another 90 degree day today and then it will be cooling off with some showers. I plan to take advantage and utilize that to make the transition. I have some small burns on a couple plants bit considering the weather we've had its nothing. Temperature swings 50 degrees. I hope these girls do OK outside. I was tired and stoned last night and I accidently topped a plant I had already FIMed. Oh well. Transplants soon. Supports screwed in after the heat. Plants have been handling this weather like a champ. Big thick healthy stalks. UPDATE PUT THE PLANTS IN AROUND 730. Cutting down on light hours I'm poverty close to where we are. It was 95 today. Plants have suprisingly little burning. My fan was taken so they go without that tonight too. In the next few days it's going to cool down and that's when I'll transplant. Only thing left before transplant is sanitizing trellis and supports. Easy peezy. Especially if it's supposed to be in the 50s. And people dent climate change lol. I'm hoping that all this adversity makes my flower a higher quality. I'm glad to have the quantity to pick the best phenos for the BIG POTS. Im trying to stay excited but it's just so dumb hot. Oh well. If the plants can do it so can I. I'm planning to give them some kelp me kelp you next watering and may start some light organic nutes. 6/2 Phone doesn't like uploading my videos. Broke record high temp yesterday 95 and tomorrow we will break the record low 50. Plants withstood the heat well and are doing great. Transplant soon. They were a little light but I held off on the water. Plan on it tomorrow. May transplant tomorrow. I have several videos that haven't uploaded. I thought they did but I was wrong. Oh well. UPDATE: Forgot to water. Some were light and others could've held off. Did the half a powerade bottle ahain. A litt ke less on the heavier ones. However I'm looking to transplant into final homes tonight and into this weekend. I sanitized a fifty and a forty so my bags and two pots are sanitized. Cage is sanitized and ready and pallets are sanktized and in place. The 40 and 60 fit PERFECT in the small space left from the pallets. Plus the plants always lean the opposite direction so things should go smooth. Only thingvleft is sanitizing stakes, bamboo, plastic garden stakes and all the other plastic training stuff. I'll just soak it while I transplant. Gotta mix the soil first too though. UPDATE. Heat went higher than expected and hit 90. I figured I'd go back around three and screw in suppirt stakes and begin getting everything ready for transplant (i.e. supports, mix soil, sanitize trellis) before I transplanted tomorrow MORNING was what I had planned. Unfortunately we got a huge thunderstorm with a shot ton of rain and it's gonna continue throughout the night. I think this is God's way of telling me to take a break. I can get up early and get those support stakes screwed in. Then when I get back from the wife's doctor's I can do the transplants. I'm trying to break the labor up into manageable chunks. Looking at my other diaries I can see that my plantscare fine in their three gallon homes. It'd a little disheartening seeing such big clones that I started so much earlier on the other diaries. However I always was fighting SOMETHING (usually more than one thing) and last year was a shit show. At least this year I stay away from anyone else's cannabis any clones and I'm extremely cautious. I've seen my cousin out perform me multiple times with healthy plants like this I'm excited to see how it goes. I really needed the break anyway but tomorrow morning the stakes will be in. Hopefully they'll be outside. 6/3 Broke the record for low days after breaking record for highs. I saw it 94 yesterday and the day before. On the way to my grow at 6am it was 44 degrees and it's not warming up much. Fifties at best. Rainy. I left the door closed. The big door on the otherside got opened as the other end of the garage neededcto he used. If the rain let's up I'm going to set up the grade stakes so I can transplant in the morning and throughout the day. I think I'm going to light dep a couple of them and leave them in the 3's. We'll see. UPDATE: At 12:30 the temp today was 44. Yesterday it was 94. I can't believe this. Plants are doing great though and are in the garage under lights for the day. The BIG door was open part of the day. Didn't take any pictures (or even enter the grow area) as I sanitized the last 40 gallon pot and a bunch of grade stakes. I drilled the grade stakes to the pallets in the front. The first row is done. Just need to sanitize the plastic trellis itself and finish attaching the other grade stakes. I don't need the fill trellis up by transplant. I just need the bags to not knock over and have SOME support. I'll be back over there either to tonight to put more supports in or tomorrow when I actually plan to start transplanting. I'm getting excited. After dealing witb the stiff that I sanitized I didn't dare go fuck with my plants so I looked through the window. I'll finish sanitizing the net tomorrow. These plants look great. I'm wondering if doing the two diagonal I poles with zipties actually works. It would save me some kone for sure. I'll definitely update in the morning. 6/4 It's warmed up to a balmy 44 degrees. My plantsxare in the garage still. Weather sucks this whole week but after this heavy rain it should be perfect weather to transplant these girls. A little to chilly but it will warm up and I need to get this shit done. I'm trying to do to much at once. I need to just out dirt in bags and get them outside. I'm glad I waited until after this craziness. Breaking temp records for high one day then breaking it for low the next can't be good for the plants. I'll update what gets done today. I may mix soil or I might wait until tomorrow. It will let up some then. Plants still look fabulous 👌 6/5 50 degrees still raining like hell. Rain until Friday. Plants are inside under the onecworking light. Lots of indirect light through the massive windows though. I'm planning on mixing soil today and tomorrow and getting bags and pots half filled. Just trying to break the labor up into manageable pieces. It's probably a good thing I didn't put them in their huge containers before all this rain. UPDATE: MIXED SOIL 1/3 of each (FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST, HAPPY FROG, AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707). I prepared I believe 11 containers for transplant. I need to sanitize two more containers and I'm good. I got a lot done. Might go back over. Set up extra cams too. I'm excited. Talked to my commercial buddy amd he motivated me. No reason my plants can't handle this shit. I've just had massive personal shit going on. Friday is the next GOOD day but these girls might go out earlier. I'm checking the forecast. I'll sanitize the other containers in the morning and fill them. 6/5 Today is usually my watering day but shit still seems heavy so I'm going to hold off. Despite that i need to transplant. I think they're wet enough. I could do it today. Plants are looking good and weather takes a better turn Friday. It's not raining hard though. It's just sprinkle right now. I may transplant some today depending on how things go. I'll keep the diary updated. UPDATE: I went back over with the intent to just mix soil and let it acclimate. I decided to try to transplant one. I grabbed a 10th planet and started to go. I had done a bunch of manual labor already so i wasn't thinking. Of course the fucker was dry and didn't wanna come out ofcthe pot and the root ball pretty much decintigrated in my hand so I'm not sure how that will go. Tried again with the Blueberry Cheese Cake. I thought the roots just might not have been rootbound abdcthat could've been the case. After having another rough transplant I recognized I was tired, all the hard stuff is done and it's gonna keep raining until Friday. I wanted to transplant three and put them outside but with the wind and rain and the difficult transplant I let them sit under the light in the garage in indirect light. I had the doors open for a while. Should be open now but i don't want to have to go back over and shut it. Plus I'm not to keen on getting water on my light. Let's hope for a better day tomorrow. It's off and on and a nice rain though. It's 53 degrees at noon. I transplanted two 10th planet's into 20 gallon pots. I transplanted these two a little differently. I put the bags in there final spot I side my cage andctransplanted in the misting rain. The first one came out and seemed to be heavier on the bottom and broke off. I tend to "throw" them in the hole before they collapse. With my anxiety I suck at transplanting. Plus these plants haven't filled the 3 gallon pots with roots yet but i want hem in their final homes and its time to go outside. I transplanted the other two plants indoors and let them have days in the garage with the door open and the light on then protection from the elements at night. I've been doing this for awhile. They would all be outside if the weather wasn't so shitty. This rain is supposed to stop. I'm curious as to what will be the fate of the two plantsci transplanted and left outside. I'm praying and hoping for the best. I also put my back tarp up so I have a wind break between rhe buildings. I stopped working because I didn't want to fuck anything up. Anxiety disorders suck. Ein wunderschöner Anblick. Die Transformation in Blüte schreitet voran. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass die Dame ohne Probleme heranwächst. Es wuchert ohne Ende und ich muss täglich ein paar Blätter entfernen, damit die Triebe genug Licht bekommen.Die Mimosa ist die kleinste im Zelt, aber macht sich ganz gut.
