May 5 - 9

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. July 29, 2021, Thursday. I watered the crop thoroughly and rotated them. The girls (other than "J") are watered with pH'd tap water, that fluctuates between 6.2 & 6.4. July 30, 2021, Friday. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. I can't wait to see what more knowledge and experience will reveal. Anyone that's been on the fence about whether to grow or not, do it. Just go ahead and do it. August 1, 2021, Sunday. I watered the girls today. I moved "J" into the "Veg Desk" and she seems to be adapting to her new environment quite nicely. Freeman's birthday is just days away! Freeman the person, not the plant. As I mentioned earlier in the diary, this grow has been in secret and is a surprise birthday present. Nothing to report. August 3, 2021, Tuesday. Watered the ladies thoroughly.

The CBD Red Pure also showed a severe lack of magnesium and potassium. I therefore increased the Bloom fertilizer to 8mg/l once. I use organic fertilizer here and this strain seems to show a high demand for nutrients. However, we are in the last few weeks and I am sure that I will get them through until then. Again, learned a lot from this grow but I think I will try a new fertilizer after this grow as I am reaching my limits with the organic fertilizer scheme here.

I love this strain from cult classic, I grew her mother last run and fell in love with her terps; sherbert, vanilla, rubber, gas, and funk. Super easy to grow, beautiful colors with the right pheno and lighting.

This girl is a little behind her big sister. But she is looking great.

Day 36. Girl is a stretcher, will have to do something, but most damage is behind and I think next watering I'll give her food again. Couple leaves taken off, couple branches bended , thinking to put support after main stretch will be over. Happy Growing !!!

6 weeks in veg from seedling

Well we are on to week 7, and what a start. I have nicknamed the first one Hulk. It will not stop growing. I defoliate at the end of every week now. I looks like a giant pile of fan leaves when I'm done, but the plants still look full and lush. I was hoping to see some actual flowers by now but nothing as of yet. Maybe by the end of this week they will start to poke out. I did not anticipate such a stretch. This is my first time using this system and it seems to be working rather while. I am trying to go without changing the water now. I want to keep them at this ec for a few weeks so I have been topping up with nutrient water and so far they seem to like it. As long as they stay green and the water stays clear I will continue like this. They are drinking about 2 gallons a day now and eating just as fast. Growing is a true art and I find myself really starting to enjoy the training. I want to make it bigger and better. Already making plans for the next grow. Well I posted up some cool videos and pictures, at least I thought they were, so let me know what you all think. Everyone is so quiet here. Well I will update later on. Keep it growing ya'll.

So happy with the autopots and how well they plants are thriving. Instead of top dressing i decided to switch nutrients to cronks bonnie and Clyde for autoflowers. Did a half does to see how well it does at first. I make water in 2 gallon batches, 2 gallons with food, when empty, 2 gallons of with calmag.

Buenas! Quiero contarles que tienen un terpeno distinto en cada ejemplar. Hay 2 que son tropicales, mas de la linea trop punch, similar a la piña 🍍. Otra es citrica pero no cualquier citrico, me recuerda al pomelo. Y otra que salio mas terpeno tangie, naranjita amarga. Todos son similares en aspecto, muy resinosos y tienen potencial!! Fun to grow and took to lst and supercropping very well. I am keeping a mother of the stinkiest pheno I got. I made some other seeds that I will be growing out after Jinxproof's pheno hunt. I will be doing a few grows coming up here and its going to be gnarly! Stay tuned in for modern genetics that have been tested and stabilized. These were bag seed from regular seed of LA confidential given to a friend that won them in a giveaway from DNA Genetics.

Hello This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got my 4 year cancer checkup... got the nose and throat camera.. And the Dr. couldn't find anything wrong. I get 1 more checkup in a year before they can give me a... all clear for cancer. I'm going to beat it... Thanks Rick Simpson... Picked up this magazine a few days ago and just wanted to share the adds and articles. There's a Cheech and Chong interview and story in my Captain Future diary this week if your interested. Everything is going good in here. I've seen some fungus gnats flying around But I've also seen some very small spiders starting webs, and they will grow, and take care of the gnat problem. The plants are just getting rainwater for now. There's is lots of compost in each pot... the roots just have to find it. I'll give some food in a week or two. Both girls were up-potted into their final pots, one in a 5gal fabric pot and one in a 6.5gal plastic container. I planted them in fresh FFOF with a few handfuls of perlite and stopped feeding (water and 3ml/gal cal-mag only), both girls seem happy and look healthy albeit small for their age...i did a heavy defoliation on the bigger of the 2 plants and will do the same to the "runt" next week... Edit: 5 days after transplant and brown spots have appeared, I believe it to be calcium lockout, possibly a PH drop after switching to a hot grow media..i removed effected leaves, applied a top dressing of dolomite lime (tablespoon each) and watered 1 gallon PH'd to 7.5..will update
