Very happy with how both plants turned out in the end! Pheno#1 is a definite keeper, but il be hanging on to Pheno#2 for at least another run or two. Both plants have a very similar smell it’s like a tropical cherry punch, #1 smells the strongest, you only have to nudge it and then whole room stinks. #2 has a gassy edge that #1 doesn’t have. Both smell incredible! I’ve cut both plants into individual branches and I’ve hung them in my drying tent. I’ve removed all fan leaves and any lead with a visible stalk. I’ll dry them for 10-14 days, my RH stays roughly between 55-60 and the temperature fluctuates between 19-24*c weather dependent. She was the last to pop up in the bunch! But she’s doing amazingly they all are (fastbuds) I won’t be topping any autos this run! I will be only low stress training until scrog and then I’ll high stress train if necessary! I’ve given the first feed today of biobizz (doing fastbuds organic the other 3 synthetic) my aim is to keep the veg period vigorous! As a great veg equals great bloom!

Explosive growth! Seems to be loving the coco. She took off week 4-5. And, alll of a sudden there were pistols showing all over her. Appears to be doin great, having fun with the daily LST she's requiring with the rapid growth. Managed not to snap any more branches off. Got a mars hydro TS100 in the tent now and she's loving it.

11/21/2020 Soaked in water 24 hours all seed fell to bottom, put in paper towel over night and 6 out of 10 have sprouted. In this cross I will be looking for powdery mildew immunity first and foremost. ( goal achieved see week 15) Also hope to make cookie cake stretch more and bring a sativa influence. 11/28/2020 One week old today 5 out of 10, 6th sprout had stem rot 60% germination. Now hope for 3 girls at least 🙏

Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Lots of pistils coming out. It looks like kind of a mix of its parent strains, which makes sense. I was going to do some final defoliation this week, but the colas are all pretty well spaced out and they're growing so fast you can practically see it with the naked eye. Idk if the added stress from further defoliating the bottom will be worthwhile right now. Dec 26. I went ahead with the defoliation. This always happens, it's just scary to cut pieces off your beautiful babies when they're thriving. But this is the perfect time to do it, when they're healthy and growing strong. Whether or not it helps yield, it will still help with airflow and most importantly, it will allow me to see into the plant to catch any problems before its too late. Several of the leaves I took off were yellowing already. It was hard to take the healthy ones that had been there a long time, but it's for the best. I didn't go overboard, and I can see a lot more of the bud sites now. Things are looking great. I can't get good lighting for photos unfortunately.

Week 2 Mr.B's Six shooter so this one is doing fine, still no water needed since last week, literally no maintenance required, just spraying the soil with 0.25 ml / 250ml organic amino acid concentrate. You know how canna boost smells like soy sauce, well this one smells like that kinda except when i open it my whole basement smells like a chineese wok restaurant lol . Six shooter looks like i got three phenos , this one is an indica pheno looks like , let's see how she grows ! added cal mag to the foliar spray, once only this week, on day 5. amino spray on the soil is daily, until the 10 day mark. still only going to be plain water and secondary nutrients like CO2 and micronutrients . that's the plan anyway. VPD tappering off towards 1.1 as humidity is creeping down from a high of 42 to the high thirties now. going to plant my in soil ppm reader before i water for the first time since transplant lol... maybe not even this week ! low maintenance? will update 🚀

The buds that are in the canope fatten up and i have some yellowing of the leaves Further Beneath the canope. Is it because they don't get the Light they need? Got some heat stress from the lamp on one of the colas. So i put the Light higher up and bended it Further away from from the lamp. It almost Has recovered, but the growth of the buds slowed down on that Cola. The Rest looks beautiful so i am fine with that.

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
