Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. 2/3 plants doing good. 1 plant however has a calcium defficiency showing as orange spots on 2 of the fan leaves.i have added 2 ml of cal mag in with their new nutrient feeds to help offset. I have been watering normally without nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. The defficiency has resulted from me using soft tap water which contains very little calcium. Since adding, no new spots have appeared so fingers crossed Only using half reccomended dose of nutrients at this point to ease them In to feeding

So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! Hello This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. Things are doing good in here. The Dos Si Dos 33 and the Pink Kush have got "the stretch" going on now. Blackberry Moonrocks and Critical OG don't stretch that much. Starting to get a little smelly in here now. I'll trim up this week. Well not to much to report this week had a lot of tiny issues with the grow , the temperature was a big problem . Getting that fixed improved the overall health of this girl .. besides the cold she also had some air circulation problems as well plus lol the light switch for timer was put on 24h for a few days by the wife so I'm hoping for the best ..no hermies I hope ...cheers canna family

The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. Here we still have a few more white hairs of Wurlz and Watermelon candy but it's just a few days old. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. Runtz has a great main cola and regularly grown satellite flowers that are not bad. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do.
