I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots. - I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate. - I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. Another week for the sugar bombs, week 3 already 😁 the plant needed some more N but after adding the guanokalong pearls and powders she's looking a lot better and the buds started to grow bigger, im reviewing the ppm and maybe we will add some more PK the next days

Heading into the final week (for some) and we have some real beauties coming through, honestly, there’s not 1 bad plant in this batch... some are definitely slightly longer flowering, so they’ll carry on a week or two longer. The smells I’m getting from these girls range from sweet tropical funk, to grape fizz pop, with the gassier smelling girls carrying citrus undertones... the gassier smelling bunch all needing the extra week or two, with the tropical fruit funks and grape fizz pop all aiming to do it in around 60days. I am super amped about this run, I'm struggling to find ones that I don't want to keep 😅 so I'll do another full run of the crop just to make extra sure I'm not getting rid of anything just yet.

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. Starting week 7 in heat. What a weather ! 30°C ! But how are they pretty despite that hot temperature 💋 They are soldiers ! They will be the best of all time, they will beat that heat 💪💪💪 They will stay strong and elegant until Harvest. No one will defeat these Gorilla and Pineapple flowers. Light everywhere, excellent bio nutrients and CO2 against this dark weather. This will be the weapons of my plants. LET'S FIGHT !!!!🤝

She seems to be doing a lot better since the foliar spray last week. Leaves are a dark green now and the stalks are more malleable due to the silica. Did another Silica foliar spray this week as well. 12 gal of water and it is supposed to rain on them today. Fingers crossed!

Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... Tropicanna poison... Nice plant well done Sweet Seeds.... Little beauty sex appears by the pistils are coming out so I assume strech is ending soon :) All good look at her fertilization happnes every 2nd day by the mix above and the ratio. Let's see.... She is promising haha :)

At this stage the stretch was very noticeable

Last day of week 10 Plant is doing well, had some brown spots but nothing special. Today defoliated few leaves to improve air movement, since I only use extractor fan, I thought it was necessary. This week I also added Bud Factor X and CalMag to her feeding schedule. I think I'm gonna feed her once again after 4 days and then start flushing for 2 weeks. Nothing more to say, I really like how she develops and can't wait to taste her buds. Happy growing to you all.

Unfortunately I lost some of my timelapse footage and the harvest shots of the plants hanging, so I only have the week 10 pictures left.📸 Still, this run with Ztrawberriez Auto was smooth and very enjoyable.🌿💚 All three plants finished in about 11 weeks from seed to harvest. The aroma and taste came out pretty much the same across the whole run, sweet, fruity with that little pink pepper twist, a really unique profile.🍓 #1 was the biggest and most compact of the three, with very dense, stacked flowers.💪🔥 #2 and #3 produced slightly fluffier buds, but still frosty, aromatic and with great bag appeal.🌸 I gave them all 48 hours of darkness before chop, then trimmed and hung them up. After 9 full days of drying they were ready for trimming and went into jars for curing. The final result: beautiful, resinous flowers, consistent in flavor, with some variation in bud structure but overall great quality 😍. Even without the missing footage, this run left me more than happy 🌟🌿
