routine week

Changed my plans a bit so they probably won't move to another location ( or they really have to outgrow their current pots... ) so added some additional lights and raised my EC a bit. Also added CO2 to 900PPM but not sure if continue with that. First time CO2 out of a bottle instead of a generator. If it is too pricey I will quit that. 07-09: YES!! I have an extra room available so I am moving these ladies to a bigger place.. will keep you up to date.... From 5.7 to 30 liter pot size (a bit late to switch but I do believe they can profit from it.) A few hours later.... Well, that's not easy at all... taking a break for a moment... Checklist for myself: The tent is up and checked for leaks (ugly thing, but no complaints for fifty bucks) Lighting is installed at the correct height CO2 is in place, needs to be moved to the right spot Exhaust is installed (still need to tape the transitions) Still need to install Blumat (but first repot the plants due to positioning) Install the water supply (yes, I should have done that first...) Meh... another hour or two. Hopefully, they don't mind being without light for about 3 hours. A few hours later.... Well, that was a lot of work... but thank goodness it all worked out (just need to install the Blumats, which I'll soak in water shortly). Besides that, I now have a water supply and drainage available, which makes certain tasks much easier. Hand-watering was pretty fun (the plants were doing well so far), but it was a lot of work for 12 pots. Having to use a syringe every day for dosing just isn't my thing. The plants are suddenly looking very small again, though. But well, now they can literally grow in any direction. I'll quickly check how they did overnight, and then the lights will be going out again soon. And then quickly took some photos just before the lights went out... The ladies seem to be doing just fine, with their leaves happily pointing upwards as if they're waving cheerfully. The CO2 has been used up quite quickly; the bottle is empty, which isn't surprising given the large tent. I'll refill the bottle shortly and see how long it lasts this time. I think trimming will be a bit easier this round. Tonight, I'll lower the lights a bit to around 30 cm and hope they can handle the doubling of the light intensity. They were doing well last night, at least. The temperature is on the high side (33˚C), but that's not surprising given the current outdoor temperatures. I expect that once we have normal temperatures again, the temperature will settle around 29˚C. #SSSC_John Thank you very much for this outstanding strain so far...

Lots of bud sights, starting to smell strong now, plants healthy and drinking plenty,

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. She is growing well, after a slow start. Light is 17” and the par is 600ish. I am going to make canister with yeast. Having a problem with low humidity and high humidity at night in the 70% range. Still just watering with cal mag, VJ and B-52 about 50-100 ml every other day. End of week update: the environment is doing better. Moved the light a little closer about 700 par. Watering has been 2-3 days about 75ml. Exciting things to come…

Hey everyone 😃. This week she has done great 👍. It was done again on all the drifted topping and sprayed one last time with neem oil so that the last trips are finally gone 😁. We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water. GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. This plant was another fastbud success. Even though I struggled with climate during part of this grow,this plant managed to get big and vigorous in the end. The bud structure is not may favourite and maybe she overstretched as I was also trying things with the light. The Turps coming out of this girl are loud,smell of sour orange candy,with some floral tones. Beautiful fade with orange and purple colours with a good amount of frost.

About 1/3 of the way through flowering and shes looking healthy still, very happy with how shes progressing. The final compliment (green sensation) to the feeding schedule will be added in the next feed. She seems to be enjoying plagrons range. Lets hope those buds get nice and chunky.

Ok brothers and sisters i had a minor drawback regarding to external weather so conditions like ventilation and how much heat generates the lights itself were on check on this week, i peaked with 28°c and 30% humidity, so that explain also the increased ddistance between the lights and the plants , as temperatures are on the rise. Additional height control through some lst and changing positions at ones possibly where the stem and branches lignificated and the support plays no role anymore in order to control the new stems , thus avoid hitting top bulb or side bulb radiation , or ventilators or other plants - food scheme stays on the stimulant side with the exception of barrier as i'm spraying as long as i can during flowering . probably until end of month. on the side note the autoflowering one is a bit behind compared to the others but is not that bad - for now. finishing result should be monitored if density and potency was affected by non optimal photoperiod for that one gal. Kind regards :) .

She has become a beautiful little bush full of fat dense nuggets completely covered in fruity and sweet resin glands with some purple no tones in the buds. Love It!

The koshers are going great, just transplanted to bigger containers which are the definitive once, no food provided yet im thinking to start slowly next week as the soil i have is quite strong. Also i decided to just keep the 2 plants which are exactly the same for the competition, the other plant which looked different is removed to another room (of course maybe the buds are the same but at the end im looking for the best looking plants for this competition) We also removed the top this week to create some more tops 😁
