Harvest Report by Zuppler - End of Week 9 Yo, what’s good fam? Zuppler comin' through with that harvest report, Week 9 wrapped up and it’s time to bring these queens down. The buds are lookin’ fat, frosty, and sticky – they ripened up just right, with that perfect mix of milky and amber trichomes. Real proud of how this run turned out. I learned a lot in this grow, no doubt. Dialin' in them nutes, catchin' the burn early, and lettin' them heavy buds stack properly. It’s all about leveling up, ya feel me? Next grow, I’m excited to be poppin' some Cherry Pie and Fruit Cake beans – gonna take everything I learned this round and make the next one even better. Zuppler out. 🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. June 8th There's little doubt that the light is too close, and has been too close for too long. There's nothing I could do about it two weeks ago, and there's nothing I'll be able to do before harvest either. Lesson learned. The main cola doesn't seem stressed as in burned or bleached, but it's definitely looking a little odd. It's huge, and has no orange pistils, whereas the buds below are a mix of the older orange pistils and newly grown ones. Weird. There's also a lot of foxtailing going on, which i'm guessing is a direct cause of being far too close to the light. Temps, pH, humidity, and watering are all dialed in, so that's my best guess. Even though only the top of the plant is light-stressed, the foxtailing seems to spread throughout. Is this a thing? I'm thinking next time I'll do the same, a single plant in the large pot, but I'll top her once or twice to lessen her height avoid this issue altogether. One huge cola is impressive, but the way things have shaken out has robbed some of the lower flowers of a more optimal distance to the light, so everything is out of balance. We're top heavy, folks :):) All is well, fingers crossed as always.

well she was awkward to grow at first she's a big feeder and needs some time to finish had some issues on wk 14 which caused her to take a lot longer than expected but she did recover not fully but still ok she grows and spreads well once settled and has some great potential will be running her again in coco as her taste is really nice and need to see the difference with no issues thanks to rqs once again for the opportunity to try this great strain and thanks to all who help comment like and follow it's very much appreciated happy growing guys

So I’ve been flushing for a week now and shes really transformed and developed some huge buds! Frosty tot he tippety top! I’m so proud of her! Will continue to flush until shes ready for chop

put a heater in the room and hit 100 degrees just now getting back was very close to losing them vary sad plants im going let these veg for 3 mouths at least hope no stress like that happenings no more i really want 10 15 clone off one them for this summer

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Day 14 - Everything seems to be going great, not much to say right now! Will be feeding tomorrow! Happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 15 - Feeding day, started a nutrient comparison test between fox farm & technaflora which is why I have both of them listed but I am not mixing them! I have 2 plants on the fox farm & 1 on technaflora! We shall see which comes out better! Day 16 - Ladies are looking great!✌️🏼 Day 17 - Got watered with PH at 6.4 today, all 3 ladies are coming along nicely😍 Day 18 - 🌱✌️🏼 Day 19 - Ladies got watered again today with PH at 6.4, will probably be starting some LST in the next week sometime! 5/12/21 Week 1 of flower 10 of life. Checked fluids 6.01ph, and 390tds. Plant seems ok were I split stem. Will give dose of recharge later this evening. Now on a 12/12 cycle. The watering volume per hour is not letting me go over 2.6 gallons per day. My pump is recirculating water at 200 gallons/hr it runs 15 minutes 2x day. So 50 gallons 2x day or 100 gallons per day. 5/13/21 will start foliar feeding tonight at lights out. Using TPS Canopy boost. Will use for 3 weeks every 3-4 days. Changed water to bloom nutrients. Ph 6.01 tds 710. 5/15/21 ph 6.18 tds 570. Will get dose of recharge this evening. Plants leaves are almost touching side to side in tent. 5/16/21 added water (4 gallons) can't believe she went through that much in 3 days. Ph 5.85 tds 689. Will get a foliar feeding tonight at lights out. 5/18/21 changed nutrients water. PH 5.96 TDS 680. Leaves of plant are now touching all 4 walls of 4x4 tent.

Coming along nicely this week, hoping to see them explode in the next 2-3weeks. All are very healthy and have responded just how I like to LST. Purpinator is bringing out the smells in there definately and they are all smelling good in their own way. I recommend all the products I have used in this diary highly as they haven't failed me in the past(yield and quality). The only new product I am using is green planet purpinator, so I will let you know if I recommend this too when all is finished. I'll upload daily or every couple of days. To clarify I have 6x 55litre buckets with 3 plants of the same strain in each. I have used coco substrate and grown all of them from seed(courtesy of barney's farm) Thanks for looking.
