First plant, chose Blody Skunk by SweetSeeds. I have a Mammoth box (40x40x120cm) with a 300W Led, "Odor Sock" filter, "Air-Pot superoots" 12L vase. For the germination I' ve putted the seed in a glass of water for 24 hours, then in a plate covered with humid toilet paper for 2 days, then in the vase. - DAY 1 1.5 L of water with low pH (6.3) Lights for 24h After germination of the seed I' ve putted it in the vase - DAY 2 No water Lights for 24h Nothing new - DAY 3 No water Lights for 22h, now I have a humidifier working almost 24h/day A small bud is out, approx 1/1.5cm height - DAY 4 No water Lights for 20h, humidifier on for the whole day Bud reached 2cm - DAY 5 Noticed that temperature and humidity are too high (28°c, 85%) so I' m trying something to fix it in order to have at list 26°c and humidity at 60-70%. Bud still at 2cm - DAY 6-7 I' m leaving for some days so I' ll not be able to update the diary

These girls are flowering super fast almost starting to ripen but I'm sure they'll swell more! Super excited to have this one done in a few weeks it's one of my favorite medical cultivars. The powerful fruitiness is surely a pleasant smell to take in although I reccomend a carbon filter if you live in tight quarters. Shes super happy without LST I learned as these are the last of 4 stranana that I have ran and LST once hurt my yield as I find it does have strong sativa genes. She likes to stretch out. Yesterday gave em the trim up of the unders , kinda popsicled you can say to each one, cause we want to focus on them colas ! It’s the third week of vegetation, and both plants are growing like crazy! 🌿 They’re super healthy and pushing forward with lots of energy. I’ve been feeding them with the BioBizz nutrient schedule for veg and adding Root Juice to boost their root development. 🌱💧 I’m trying different LST (low-stress training) techniques with both plants. For one, I’ve applied LST to the entire plant, bending the main stem to get more light exposure across the canopy. 🌿🔄 The other plant is a bit different—I’ve only used LST on the lower branches to encourage better side growth while letting the main stem do its thing. 🌱📈 Both plants are responding really well, and I’m excited to see how these different techniques impact their development. Things are looking promising! 😁✨

This strain is beautiful. It loved the LST and grew very well without any problem. Today I lollipopped her, so now the plant can concentrate all her energies on the top colas. The colas are just beautiful, and the smell is soo good, the best I have ever smelt.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. This strain is absolutely amazing, it's very different from any haze or even blueberry, the smell it's exactly like a fruit cocktail smells, very very fruity and sweet, I'm crazy to see how this nuggets taste after being well dried and cured boys and girls! Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros, que el mismo trasplante provocó un shock, que también fue solucionado inmediatamente. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Has been 3 weeks since my last post due to holiday. The wedding cake was a bit delayed in grow because my PH meter was broken so I was assuming my PH was correct while in actuality it was too low. The scrog net is covered for about 60% wanted to play it safe because I’m not sure how much it will stretch. The clock has been set on 12/12 yesterday. Expect to see some flower growth in 2 weeks.

D53 - It's been a few days since my last entry, but I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Amsterdam, and who can say no to that? It's a mission to hook up the automatic drip irrigation for only a few days of travel, so I watered the girls thoroughly before leaving. Sure, they were thirsty when I came back but weren't drooping. The trichomes still show a bunch of clear, so chop day is still a bit off. The girls STINK! Or rather, they smell amazing but smell A LOT. It's that bad that I'm replacing the old carbon filter tomorrow. I was initially planning on replacing the filter after this grow, but my girlfriend starts to grumble a bit, so I better get to it... D56 - We're at the end of the eighth week of flower, and it is all a waiting game. I still see many clear trichomes, so that it will be another week or two before the chop. I'm a bit concerned, though, as we have had a lot of rain lately, and the general humidity is relatively high. This increases the humidity in the tent as well, and it is currently in the low 60s even though I have a small dehumidifier running. That is high this late in flower, and I'm worried about botrytis.

Transplanted to 40l container on week 4 day 1. Container has approx 30l in it. Also added a photo of the setup for size reference. Let me explain my thinking behind the repotting strategy. Firstly I should say that I am quite an old school kind of grower, although I've never grown cannabis before I have grown hundreds of other plants. Due to my experience with other plants, I understand the value of well planned and executed transplants, they can have an absolutely transformative effect upon root systems when done properly, as far as I know it's the main reason why they are done at all. It is fair to say I have never grown any auto-flowering plant indoors before, and I have read all about how you should not transplant autos, and all the good reasons why not. Ultimately though, as I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, I believe that I can make it work with an auto, and get the benefit of improved root growth pattern, without delaying or interrupting the growth. I want to have my cake and eat it, as it were. So the strategy is to avoid transplant shock, which admittedly I have already failed in the first unplanned transplant, but in my hopeful naivety I still believe I can make the second one work! I'm using coco, and I have had the larger pot prepared and have been watering and feeding them as well as the plant. If I am careful not to disturb the plant at all, and move the entire contents of the pot gently into the larger pot (which is exactly the same medium in broadly the same state), then I may be able to avoid shocking the plant and just let it crack on. We will find out in a few days! If it stops growing or slows at all then I failed, otherwise it worked! A note about my use of organic nutes with coco. I have read a lot about coco and nutes and microbes and PH and TDS and what have you, and I know that the overwhelming majority of people believe that you can't or at least shouldn't use organic nutes with coco. The thing is, I like organic gardening, I prefer to cultivate a beneficial microbiota and keep it healthy. I recycle, and reuse all my compost except where a plant is diseased and this has worked well for me for a long time. I've never grown with coco before though, I always used soil. I wanted to gain the benefits of coco (better drainage, more air to roots, lighter, less inviting to pests, etc) - but I wanted to use a method of nutrition that I was already familiar with. I think I've mentioned that I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, so I am using BioBizz and coco. By adding bacterial, mycorrhizal, and trichoderma inoculants and having the unplanted coco in the tent being fed and watered I hope to have cultivated a nice microbiota which will feed my plant. That's the theory. However just in case, I have a trick up my sleeve. Now, I do not know if you are aware of this, but there is a fiery debate raging on the internet about using BioBizz organic nutes with coco for cannabis. Some people try it, most people shout it down, and I have not found much in the way of solid evidence of it being a good idea. Except one! I found a commercial grower that has used biobizz nutes, and he said that as long as you are using "Acti-Vera" you can use anything from the BioBizz organic range. Apparently the enzymes in the mix break down nutes chemically in a similar way to what the theoretically missing microbes do. So I have ordered a bottle of that, and if my microbial cultivation attempts don't work out, I at least know I have a fallback that should work. Those are my thoughts on it, let's see how it pans out. Oh I should also probably point out that I am growing some companion plants, specifically alfalfa (nitrogen fixing), basil (improved flavour), and German Chamomile (increased essential oil production). Update week 4 day 2 dropped PH to 5.8 after advice from a grow question. Look! It's carried on growing... maybe there was no transplant shock? Update week 4 day 3: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis lessening. Plant is pushing out node five at the moment. Update week 4 day 4: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis further lessening. Apologies for the poor quality photos for the last few days, I was lazy and didn't want to move everything out to photograph. Today I have done that and the pic is better. I am declaring the second transplant a complete success. I do not believe that plant was in any way shocked. Update week 4 say 5: I think I've finally managed to overwater. Going to skip watering today. Update week 4 day 6: Photo taken just before lights on hence wilting. Growth continues to accelerate. I believe the alfalfa has been raising the PH so I've removed it. Today I will flush through with PH lowered water and then fertigate. The colour is still too pale but the growth and overall look and feel of the plant screams to me that it's happy and about to explode. Day 27.5 flushed with 30l of PH lowered water then fertigated with 5l. Day 28: Height 12cm Width: 28cm Nodes: 6 Weekly growth data: From 5cm Height to 12cm +140% From 12cm Width to 28cm +133% From 4 primary nodes to 6 +50% Summary: Wow, wow. Wow. What else can I say. What a crazy week, amazing and unexpected given the problems. I am really excited to see what happens over the next seven days!! It looks like it has quite severe chlorosis, but otherwise seems robust and is seriously stretching. Almost unbelievable growth. Pre-flowers appeared a few days ago, so I guess this was the final week of veg. Let's see how the first week of flowering stretch goes! Update 7/2/23: My instincts about this plant on week 4 day 6 were absolutely correct, she was happy and, she was about to explode. Since my early attempts at transplanting, I practiced multiple times with Citronella (a photoperiod plant) and then I did it again with an auto (Polly) - this one went flawlessly and further demonstrates that you can transplant an auto without shocking it. Time will tell, because I can compare Polly to both Misty and Nesia both of whom were sown directly in their final pots.
