week 28/4 - 5/5

I reduced nutrients. Powdery mildew is continuing and getting slightly worse. I sprayed it with an apple cider vinegar mix. Hopefully that helps. The smell on the flower is really incredible. Smells berry like, and clean. I opened all vents in tent and have been leaving the window slightly open as well. Heater is keeping up ok. Even in the cold nights it’s keeping it at 66F with everything open. The leaves went crazy refilling the canopy. I’ve been pinching off some of the longer leaves and some that had mildew. The buds look good. Trichomes are cloudy enough yet, but it’s getting close. I’m gonna err on an earlier harvest, if the powdery mildew continues. I’m making some LAB from KNF, along with other natural fertilizers. If the vinegar solution doesn’t help, I’ll try that when it’s ready. Excited to try KNF on my outdoor garden and lawn. Planning on growing a couple canna plants outside this year. Gonna keep my outdoor as organic and natural as I can. The clone is doing well. The areas that I knuckled are strong now. Looks like biceps. Powdery mildew seemed to get this plant worse than the other. I’ve been wiping it off with my fingers as I see it, and finally treated with the vinegar solution too. I increased its feed to week two of medium gh feed chart. Expecting a lot of growth this week even with little light. Getting my dry closet ready as well. Got another humidity controller and an upgraded temp controller with Wi-Fi. Gonna dry one more time inside my house. It’s dry enough inside that I should only need a humidifier to keep it right. Need to get another one before I harvest and then should have everything. I used grove bags last time to cure and will never use anything else. Ordered another cheap TDS meter. The one I had got dropped in the solution. Update: 2/11 The apple cider vinegar definitely cleared the powdery mildew up, but I found a few spots I think I missed directly in the middle of the large plant. I don’t see anything on the clone. I’ll reapply in a few days and pay closer attention to the middle of the plant.

Week 7 of Veg. 4x4 filled out very nicely. Added in a 2nd 500W light and spread the plants out a bit more to allow more airflow/light penetration. Now the fun begins :D

Here we are. At the end of week 7. This cultivar is scheduled for 45 days but at day 49 I can confidently say she is not ready yet. Thinking another week and she should be ready. All is looking good and these girls buds are super fat! Especially for Humboldt. The smell isn't as intense as I'd like but still there. A sweet smell. Still defoliating as I can and as needed. So this or these ladies are performing splendid..I like the fact that each plant has its own personality..One is nice and tall, the other short and stocky ...I mean it's a joy watching each of them move through a different stage but collectively...it's insane... Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

increasing nutrient doses, monitoring EC and pH doesn't bear fruit, I think. Training also takes its toll and the girls flourish. We will continue to feed and observe... Second half of week brings quite intensive growth. Continue with LST, because need light penetration and some leaves out with same purpose. What does next days bring? I am exciting...

31.05.2026 She is swelling fast and is at the end of flowering week 8. Weather was to hot this week. Average daytime was 30C. Didnt feed her with nitrogen this week. Only Compactor Boom which is 0-0-60, enzyme and sugars. But Zero fade yet. Coming week only water with Enzyme. About aweek left...

well, that day dawned :) growing in a suitcase was really difficult, temperature, humidity, plant growth, everything was very difficult to control, but I managed something, it was an extremely interesting experience :) 119 gr wet, I think it will be between 25-30 gr dry , which I think is really good from the suitcase :) it was something different than usual, and now I'm going to grow another begina, which is much bigger than this one :) good luck to everyone, and thank you.:)

Tropicanna has now started Flushing with just Flawless Finish. 4 more days left, then going to do a 48 hour dark period to bring all that gooey resin out. There's a really nice purple color on the buds, looks fire , shud be a nice smokee 👌 Wedding Cakes have had a feed of just Overdrive for one last push on the nugs before the flushing begins. should be cutting down the Trop in the next week to dry, cannot wait :) not had a nice sativa in a while, just Indica couch lock for ages 😆 👍
