Day 48. They look very nice for such pitty UK summer. Days are in low 20, nights as low as 11.... constant rain .... Happy with that strain a lot !!! Copes through everything without any issues. #1 lost one set of bottom branches , #2 and #3 lost two sets each. They needed good clearing. Cleared all garden from fresh grow, aerated soil, put slug pellets and thats it. Came late so leaves are droopy. Will visit in two weeks to top up with PK boost. Happy Growing !!!

Day 129. I still push her ;))) When I did mistake with lights and plants started to reveg in flower - they looked very similar and managed to finish in 3 weeks after lights were sorted. Those still have one more left till that time will run out... Hope she will catch up ... She stinks most from all 3 Northern Lights and I loved the taste of both chopped ... Terrible looking, most probably inside part of colas will be overmatured and full off worthless inside leaves, which will go yellow by chop time . ... They are very heavy tho ;) Never had such situation, so want to know the end, hope it's not bud rot ;))) She has 16 girls in veg/preflower stage around, humidity not the best .... Day 136. Last girl is going down, I will try to trim her, but most probably I will send all to bubble hash. She smells amazing, but looks sad... Most airy plant in my life, which went foxtailing too ;))) You can't have them all good I guess ... I have 1.525 kg from first 8, it's already outstanding result even without her ... But maybe I will go for bravery - will trim her all ... All last updates will be on harvest week. Happy Growing !!!

La planta por suerte pudo crecer bien sin ningun problema grave, lo unico que me sucedió fue que en cierta etapa me excedí con los fertilizantes y las hojas se pusieron un poco amarillas pero se pudo solucionar. En sus tres etapas, enraizamiento, crecimiento y floración estuvo muy bien su desarrolló. Los cogollos a la hora de podarla se ven muy bien, estan bastantes pegajosos y tiene muy buen olor, parecido a frutal. En unas semanas cuando ya se pueda probar subire mas imagenes de su etapa final.

I'm starting pre-flowering, letting it adapt and revegetate a bit. I would have liked to give it more, but I've learned my lesson for next time, maximizing my results. I'm waiting for some Under Canopy lights to try them out and I've been trying to finish the grow room. And I need to change this SCROG net; I didn't like it, you can't guide everything properly.

1st of august, still quite hot, we gave the plant some water but kept her on the balcony, this plant grows fast AF, we didn't even start to feed the girl but it seems that the mycorrhizae and bio enhancer did a great job 2nd August, nothing 3rd August water 4th August moved plant to the roof (original location) 5th august water 6th and 7th August maybe we give a very small shot of iguana grow and ancient Earth

Planet Of The Grapes (Ethos Genetics) Week 3, Day 25 Flower The far left and the far right plants are doing great, That top dressing i gave them made them perk up, Only issue is the middle plant, it still looks deficient, Might have to give her some compost tea and add some more 4-4-4 and worm castings.

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. Other factors include chloroplast number, respiration rate, and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as plants are often in a CO2-deficient condition. 60x60x18=64800seconds x 700 = 45,360,000moles. 45DLI Exposure to 165 µW/cm² of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) light for 3600 seconds = 1 hour, a extremely high, acute dose triggering stress responses and protective mechanisms. . The plant's photoreceptor protein, UVR8, senses the UV-B radiation. This triggers a signaling cascade that activates specific genes to protect the plant from damage. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

Looking healthy in Week 2 but unfortunately I was not using the right soil so I had to repot later and wash all the soil out from the roots under tap water. Was a bit scary but the plant survived. Re-potted a few days after this in light soil mix.

So the girls are maturing up now and getting thicker still. No much to do other than wait for the trichomes to tell me they are finished.. so far seeing all milky white, but would like at least 30% Amber in there. Flush times in RDWC will only take 2-3 Days max so not so concerned about that, a res change with Reverse Osmosis water is what ill do closer to harvest for the cleanest meds. Smelling really strong and gas like with the first pheno and the second pheno is more sweet/candy like with subtle hints of gas. Can't wait to try it but for now the process can't be rushed. Some better footage and long videos on the youtube channel if your curious to how they are getting on. Day 68 - one pheno has a lovely fade going on, black... looks cool. She is looking really thick in places as ypu can see from the day 68 photo, thats actually a 'lower' bud. Nice a frosty and smells soo dank, i open the tent and without touching anything i come out and smell so loud like I have rolled in the garden 😅 (Serious). Cant wait to.get her chopped bjt sticking to the 70 days at least. Will be back very shortly with another update. Day 69/70 - Decided to upload a night video, i did try to upload a video previously for the week gone.. but for some reason the growdiaries platform wouldn't allow it.. i always upload high quality videos/pictures otherwise whats the point. Sort it out GD. But anyway back to the garden, judging by day 70, the bigger plant pheno definitely seems done but the other pheno serms it could go a little longer. Ultimately I'm waiting to get the trichome ratio how I want it as thats the true sign of when she's done. She's faded a really nice purple, black. So I know she's close. The end is near people.. Pineapple Express leaves are all losing color at this point, she’s getting close. Not sure how much longer to let this one go... she’s on day 57. Online recommended harvest date says day 55-65. Trichomes appear cloudy to me already but she’s shooting new white pistils everyday. The bud that was pollinated appears to be the most done. Its sugar leaves are beginning to yellow. The other buds seem a few weeks behind this one, I’m still trying to wait so the seeds fully develop. I don’t want to chop her too soon and not have fully developed seeds. The other buds I am trying tic heck trich’s on. Berry white is chugging along still, it’s still not as far along as the others but appears to be more frosty even though she’s a small plant. Looking forward to seeing how she develops further... I suspect the buds on that plant to be very tight. Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👩‍🌾🏼 🌱

For 6 plants I got 415 grams which is so far, again my most yield to date. I think the light is deffo a factor plus the genetics help. It says it has up to 27% THC, it was deffo one of my favourites and I think I’ll be growing this again in the future. I’m terrible of explaining the smell and taste but it was really danky and a lot of my mates loved it.
