🌸 Flowering Week 7 — Frost Incoming! ❄️🔥 Short update this week — but the Queen is really starting to shine. Buds are swelling fast, stacking beautifully, and the first layer of frost is officially here. Trichomes are popping everywhere under the light ✨🌿 Aroma also kicked up a level… sweet, citrusy and loud every time I open the tent. She’s drinking well, holding strong, and no signs of stress at all. If she keeps building like this, the last few weeks are going to be crazy

Since this will probably be her last week. I may upload the end of the week as well into this. As of today 10/16 she is day 56 or 8 weeks of flowering total

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. 5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Ok so had a good week approaching week 5 of flower for the rest of the plants the large critical mass that's a few weeks ahead of these has now started to be flushed checked the trichomes looking nice and milky so will flush that one over the next 2 weeks and continue with the feeding schedule of advanced nutrients for rest of the baby girls

Day 21: the next watering will be with the full fert cycle starting week 4. Plants are bouncing back from lst. Day 23: leaf tucking, defoliation and more lst. Day 25: Very hot week, hitting 29°C but the plants are still growing fine

The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

11/03 - 2x2 (6 clones) 4x4 (11 clones) - 4x4 trimmed and ready for flip this week - 2x2 being trimmed this week and flipped same time as the 4x4 - Only clean water and carbo flush feeds for this week. Drip line emitter added to the 2x2 with a 5 gallon res - each pot has 2 lines. 11/07 - Heavy water flush - Prep for trim & flip - heavy defol - dropping net - clean water feeds till next week - both tents will be flipped at the same time.

Excelente resultado el que hemos obtenido con estas cepas de kannabia, pero esta se lleva la palma.. para mi, es la favorita del cultivo. Ha sido la más fácil de cultivar, la que mejor se adapto en el espacio de cultivo.. bastante productiva y con una resina brutal. Sabores cítrico y mango muy acentuado.. es una pasada fumar esta cepa. This girl has been my favorite since since I tried growing her outdoors this year but she got pinched . The aroma and the colour of the buds is great. The team at dinafem had some of the best genetics in the game I'm so in love. The plant was transplanted this week and she took it very well with lots of new growth and branches stretching all over . I'm going g to stretch her out some more this week can't wait to see her grow out ...

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨
