12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. The new HVAC for soil is performing well, allowing me to incorporate flood/drought style to watering, without any worry of overwatering, Cannabis has a "sweet spot" where stress response to "drought" can be triggered before the negative effects of drought can impact growth dramatically, During night time plants process all the stored energy from photosynthesis as a by-product of cellular respiration and releases a lot of water vapor RH% into the air, don't water at night, water in the morning. This was a effortless week 🐱👌 all plants (except 1runt) were topped and given their first feeding..new growth has already developed on most.. A few plants are distinct from all the others, there's only 2 different strains but it looks like way more at the moment. 9/8 bloom foliar 0.7ec 10/8 defoliation

Raspberry Ripple Number One and Two (Flowering Plants) This week is the final week of Flower, I am noticing milky coverage on both plants and some amber trichomes as well. I gave the last watering today of distilled, dechlorinated water, with no P.H. Adjustments at 7.2 PH. I plan to harvest April 11th. Number One Pheno- The Number One Pheno is fully swollen and ripe now. The colas are densely stacked on the canopy. The foliage is quite over-faded, with some leaves being so dried out they crumble to the touch. I don't know if this is because the plant was in a bit too small of a pot or if my light was a little much these final weeks of flower. It is definitely ready for harvest! It's smells are still heavy in the raspberry candy department, with those hints of earthy leather on the back swing. Giving the number one pheno a very unique musk. The resin is greasy and plentiful! I can't wait to take this one down and trim it up to see how it looks in a jar! Number Two Pheno- The Number Two Pheno held out a little longer in its 5 gallon pot, it's a bit smaller of a plant. It's about 65% faded now but it's trichomes look finished! It's trichomes are very stacked out and coat this plant in a snow film! It may look a little boring next to its sister color wise, but it still sports some purple and pink hues under all the frost and I still think it'll be a worthy smoke as well! It smells of a raspberry wine but with that hazy fruity power. Almost like a strong mimosa strain. Clones- The larger clones in the 55 inch 2x2 MarsHydro veg tent, were starting to drink through water quickly! Mostly the larger number one phenos. Which would consume the entire dryback of their full pots in one day. I transplanted all the plants in the 55 inch tent into square pots (2 gallons for the Number 2 Phenos, 3 gallons for the Number 1 Phenos) this should hold them over for 3 to 4 weeks, so I can harvest and dry my flowering plants. I was unable to transplant the clones in the smaller Mars Hydro 30 inch Clone Tent, due to space constraints. I'll be feeding them worm castings and Down to Earth Crab Meal tomorrow. All the clones are looking healthy and look like they would be great candidates for flowering or mother plants. Tech Upgrade- This week I was able to purchase a Photobio Phantom Par Meter at a local grow shop's going out of business sale. With this tool I'll be able to get a dead on map of my light intensity and adjust accordingly. This will be great to have when setting up my new HLG Blackbird next cycle. I also got some 15 gallon grass roots fabric pots to try in the flower room next cycle. I also reached out to AC infinity and have an upgraded Cloudray S6 Gen 2 Oscillating Clip Fan on the way. My Gen 1 fan broke and would no longer oscillate correctly. AC infinity replaced it free of charge with the latest model. I think that about sums up this week! I'm very excited to take these plants down and begin preparing for next cycle. I was extremely lucky to get such amazing results of my first Pheno hunt. I can't thank Mosca Seeds and Tiki Madman enough for selecting such great crosses. It's hard to believe I got these two seeds as a freebie pack, with another order. Ya haciendo lavado a días del corte🏼

Después de dejar las plantas 1semana más de lo previsto ya estaban perfectas para cortar, una vez cortadas las manicure todas bien, me gusta manicurarlas cuando están acabadas de cortar porque tienen las hojas duras y me resulta más simple y me gusta más el resultado final. Después las tuve secando 2 semanas a 50% humedad. En el curado las pongo en botes de cristal herméticos y con bolsas de curado (Bóveda) que hacen que se mantengan la humedad perfecta sin necesidad de abrir los botes, después de 5 meses de curado ya no pude aguantar más y empecé con esta variedad, el olor cambio totalmente y tiene un sabor complejo a madera con tonos dulces y sabrosos,el humo es bien denso y blanco. Los cogollos están como piedras y con muy poca cantidad se estira muchísimo, en cuanto al efecto de primeras es energizante y dan ganas de hablar pero al poco rato se convierte en un fuerte efecto corporal que te deja en el sofá sin hacer nada aparte de dormir😵.

Die letzte Woche vor der Ernte gibt's nur noch Wasser, CalMag und einen Tropfen SuperVit. Die Buds sind so schwer, dass die Pflanze schon schräg hängt, und der Duft ist einfach mega lecker!😋 The last week before harvest will only involve water, CalMag, and a drop of SuperVit. The buds are so heavy that the plant is already leaning to one side, and the scent is just incredibly delicious!👍

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. A Excited Welcome 🏆 I have just added this extra week in my diary as I have so many great photos of my beautiful Watermelon Auto girl from RQS which I must recommend growing as she is a stunner with large buds that smell delicious.😊 This girl is now defently finished and I'm getting ready to chop her down she has gone past and I would recommend giving her a good 10-12 weeks as it's not until late that all her colours and smell comes out. I'm now not watering her for a couple of days then into the dark for another couple of days fortunately she hasn't many leaves to trim she's all bud. I'm sad she's done but excited to smoke.
