I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

For the first time, I tried working with enzymes in the irrigation water. These are supposed to break down dead roots and plant material in the soil and make it available to the plant as food. I'm curious to see how it goes. After the first three weeks of light changeover the flower transformation is done. Now it is the right time for defoliation and lollopoping. In case of creamy the defoliation was sorely needed. I removed 6 weaker branches. That was the right decision, because I found two pollen sacs on a branch in the shady interior of the plant. Five days later, I couldn't find any more male flowers, so I hope the problem is solved. Light Power: 100% Day 72 Flower day 29 Photoshooting Defoliaton Day 68 Flower day 25 Lollipopping

☀️ // Day 43 🍁 Hello my friends, we are approaching the final weeks. If the 9 weeks are a reliable prediction from Compound, then this will take 3 more. But I take all the time ithe plant needs since I am doing a growing break over the summer. It just get's too hot in this region to grow peacefully indoors. So there is no stress for me to finish her quickly to go on. If she needs 10 weeks, that's fine for me. The buds are starting to mature. But I mean just slightly, as you can clearly see that she needs at least 3 more weeks. The frost production is superb, she has no deficiencies and the size of the buds is very satisfactory. The leafs are starting to get a real deep green color just like they're supposed to, if you look at the pictures from Compound. The only thing I can complain about is the smell of the plant. It seems very unspecific. If I rub on the trichomes, I get some freshness and some spicyness, which you could describe as dank & "gassy", but that's basicially how most weed smells at the beginning. I don't know if I just had a really good phenotype of the Jelly Donutz in my last grow but that plant reeked right from the beginning how it was supposed to. The whole box smelled like baked goods, milkshakes and dessert sweetness. I mean, there are still some weeks to go and there still is the cure to go through but I hoped to get at least a hint on what this strain will have to offer. Some real gas, some gelato cream or some biscotti dankness would be appreciated but for now, there just is nothing like that. We'll see how she evolves in the upcoming weeks. The plant got 4.5 L of water today with epsom salt. She is still getting water every 4 days, which is totally fine. I mean in the end, the more she drinks, the more she evolves and the fatter she gets, right? ☀️ // Day 47 🍁 Got the usual 4.5 L of water with epsom salt. Nothing to report, smooth sailing. She drinks a total of 9 L like every week. 💦 Watering: 9 L with pH = 6.3 💊 Fertilizer: Epsom Salt 💡 Light: 700 PPFD at 70%

Hello, my green connoisseur! The moment we've all been eagerly awaiting has arrived—the Harvest Report for our botanical queen, Jealousy, in the Power Buds competition. This has been a journey filled with anticipation, and now, we stand on the shores of botanical triumph. Jealousy, in her final act, bestowed upon us a generous yield of 195 grams of dry bud. It's like a cornucopia of green abundance, a testament to the meticulous care and strategic decisions made throughout this green saga. Each nugget is a jewel, a culmination of weeks of growth, love, and dedication. But the story doesn't end there. Jealousy, in her love for the trim bin, gifted us a beautiful golden pollen. This precious powder, transformed into ash via the French Cannoli style. Also gave me a Charas/Finger Ash ball. It's like capturing the essence of the plant in a tangible form—a botanical relic that encapsulates the spirit of our green empress. Now, let's talk about the auditory symphony that accompanied the harvest. The sound, reminiscent of a tree making timber, is like nature's applause for the bountiful harvest. It's the soundtrack to a successful cultivation venture, a melody that resonates through the grow room, echoing the grand finale of this green symphony. The drying process, carried out over two weeks with a temperature of 17°C and humidity at 58%, is like the slow and methodical crafting of a fine wine. Each day, the buds undergo a transformative journey, evolving from freshly harvested flowers to dried and cured masterpieces. And now, the pièce de résistance—the preservation of terps with the Grove Bag featuring Terploc technology. It's like locking the aromatic essence of Jealousy in a time capsule, ensuring that every toke carries the full spectrum of flavors and aromas. The anticipation for the smoke report is palpable, as the strawberry candy profile promises an exquisite sensory experience. Reflecting on this entire journey, from germination to harvest, it's like turning the pages of a botanical epic. The decisions, the challenges, and the moments of sheer joy have shaped the destiny of our green empress. It's a narrative that will be retold, shared, and cherished in the annals of our horticultural adventures. As we conclude this harvest report, let's extend our heartfelt thanks and shout-outs to Zamnesia, Plagron, Grow Diaries, and the vibrant community. Your support and contributions have been the guiding lights on this extraordinary green expedition. To my fellow contestants and growers, may your own harvests be as abundant, flavorful, and joyous as this one. Here's to the culmination of our shared green dreams, the thrill of the harvest, and the anticipation of what lies ahead. Stay green, stay inspired, and keep cultivating those dreams! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself and always do things expecting nothing in return, with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will respond in ways you can’t even dream of . Friendly reminder: all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only. Plants are looking great. Have really filled in nice. Can already tell they are going to stack the bid on. Gave them a good lower trim a few days ago. I got a new bigger tent and was going to move them but decided to just finish them out in the old one. Really excited see What the next few weeks bring. I’ll update soon. As always 🍻

Strong week. Finished at 2.2 ec. Clean water. Flora flex nutes are top notch. No dirty brown water. Ph fluctuates a bit. If you check on daily you are good.

Looks like she's getting close! Buds are nicely plump and dense! Plenty of cloudy trichomes. I'm looking for the first amber trichome to harvest. I want this to be uplifting not couch lock.

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. Going to push the PPM a little more this week, between 750-850 The color of the buds is really coming through now, especially in the pineapple express and zkittles. The melonsicle seems to be growing much more like a traditional sativa. I feel it's about a week behind schedule with the rest of the plants. It seems to be on a true 9 or 10 week tract at this point. I think the blue gelato is going to be a bust in terms of yield. It just got heavily over shadowed by the other three plants from the beginning. It has stayed quite small and I am not sure it will yield heavily. Hopefully the smoke is quality and I will be impressed enough with my first Barney's Farm experience to try again.

🗓️ Week 9 – Flower Week 5 ✅ This week was all about runoff EC values. Cherry MAC Muffin is still looking healthy, but a bit of salt buildup is showing up in the runoff. 💧 Latest watering: ➤ Input EC: ~1.3–1.4 ➤ Runoff: 1.76 → 1.67 EC 📌 Adjustment: ➤ Dialing back the base feed slightly to 1.2–1.3 EC ➤ Supplements at 20–30 % of the AN schedule ➤ Target: slowly bring runoff down to ~1.6 No real issues yet – just a bit of fine-tuning to keep her happy and balanced. The frost is definitely coming in stronger now ❄️🌸

July 5 Day 22: starting fourth week looking okay. I need to remember to not over-fertilize this auto. So far so good. July 9: above 32 C last two days. Spraying grow bag with hose water and foliar spray with seaweed extract and potassium silicate to help beat the heat. Watered with a bit of compost tea. July 10: still hot but we’re past the peak of the heat wave now. Chemdawg seems to be doing alright.

We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.
