Still stacking up grapefruit is not as impressive as gorilla glue and strawberry pie. One of my Vivusun 315 watt CMH ballasts stopped working after only a month’s use. I’m trying to get a replacement but the company is making me jump hoops for warranty. I have had a Topolite 630w CMH for three years and it’s still working great. I cut lights down to 12/12 to see if grapefruit will start to stack up. The smell is definitely getting stronger with the sticky strawberry pie being the strongest.

Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------

Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

The plants are growing fast, we forgot to check pH in this week but no problems.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Last week of the apple fritter.. As Im writing this I already harvested it. Ill report back in 2 weeks after the drying and before the curing. This was an amazing journey that its not yet finished. Drying and curing is very important and ill be doing the following: Drying Environment: - Temperature: Maintain between 18-22°C (65-72°F). This prevents terpenes from degrading while slowing the drying process. - Humidity: Aim for 50-60% relative humidity to avoid mold and overly crispy buds. - Airflow: Use a small fan to keep air circulating, but don’t let it blow directly on the buds to avoid uneven drying. - Darkness: Keep the tent as dark as possible. Light can degrade cannabinoids like THC. - Timeframe: Drying typically takes 7-14 days. Stems should snap (not bend) when drying is complete. Curing: - Jar Storage: Once the buds are dry, ill trim them again properly - Humidity Packs: Using Boveda packs (58-62%) to maintain proper curing humidity inside jars. - Burping: For the first 2 weeks, open jars for 10-15 minutes daily to release excess moisture and allow fresh air in. Afterward, reduce burping to once a week for long-term storage. - Curing Time: At least 2 weeks minimum.. Ill comeback soon with final dry weight. Wet was 400g. Keep up the good work galera 💜

Through out the week she received a foliar spray of Epsom Salt to prevent any Mg issues the others had in the tent. She is the shortest and smallest of the bunch but her foliage is the most vibrant. Very healthy and strong stems forming.

Week 6 update: This week I focused on training and canopy management. I did some defoliation to open up the plant structure and improve airflow/light penetration. I also shaped the plants with main-lining and continued LST to keep the tops even and strong. The goal is to push all the energy into the main colas so they finish fat and dense later. Funny moment this week – I actually found a little grasshopper hanging out on one of the leaves! 🦗 Looks like even the bugs think these girls are tasty. Nutrients used: • Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – moderate dose (~700–800 ppm) • CalMag – 1 ml/L • Silic Rock – 1 ml/L • Great White + Trikologic – root support • PowerZyme back in rotation (light dose) Training & care: • Defoliation: cleared out fan leaves blocking budsites • Main-lining + LST to keep canopy flat • Watching closely for any recovery signs on Mike Tyson auto (still behind but alive) Plan for next week: • Expect to see stronger preflowers forming and some pistils starting to stack up • Increase bloom-focused feeding gradually once stretch slows
