**Week 6 Flower - October 24 to 30, 2020, Days 36 to 42********* The girls spent a full week in the bigger tent now and appear to be liking the extra room and air movement. The girls are not changing much in size now and just want them to swell at this point. Some of the hairs are going red now and need to get a flush in to bring down the ppm and then lay a nice finishing feed in the media. Overdrive being added now that we are at the finish line for feed. Expect another week of feed and then flush for two weeks. These girls may need some help though and Flawless Finish might be used.....will try and avoid though and let them finish on their own. Trichomes are really plentiful on these girls. The lower points are also very frosty. Nugs are getting really nice colour to them and expect to see further colours come out in the days ahead😀 So we give them their last ripening feeds and then reduce to plain water by mid to end of next week. Since they are in coco I am going to feed them a little longer this run, feel I have missed some potential last run and hopeful this will run 9 weeks for a nice finish. There were five days this week with adding moisture to the pots and a larger flush at the start of the week. Little more detail....... Oct 24/20, Day 36 - girls flushed in the morning with 20L of water at 4.5pH. - in the PM they were given a feeding of nutrients as RO water was used to flush. - 2L - Sensi Bloom, Overdrive @ 2ml/L, Liquid Wt, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml - Last feed was 850ppm and 5.7pH.......should make the girls a little happier and rinsed off the roots. Oct 26/20, Day 38 - Heavier week 6 feed today....not many feeds left - 4L - Terp.@3ml, Sensi Bloom, Overdrive, Rezin Microbes@2ml/L, Liquid Wt, [email protected], CalMag@1ml - 1125ppm and 5.8pH going in. A stronger feed today with the last microbes for the girls. - the green on these girls is a little lighter than Gorilla Girls and looking better. - the colours are continuing to come out in the bud. Oct 27/20, Day 39 - 3L - Sensi Bloom @ 3ml, Overdrive, Rezin, B52 @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml = 1125ppm and 5.7pH - the girls had lots of runoff yesterday and then lots again today......slowing down now? - There is getting to be some pretty red hairs in the bud.....she may not go much past weeks??? - the bud sites are forming pointy tops now.......hmmmm she's getting close. Oct 29/20, Day 41 - 3L - Terp @ 3ml, Sensi Bloom, Overdrive, Enzymes Komplete @ 2ml, Rezin, Lq Wt @ 1.5ml - 1150ppm and 6.0pH for the girls. - runoff amount was lower today, dry out day yesterday. Oct 30/20, Day 42 - 3L - Terp @ 3ml, Sensi Bloom, Overdrive, CalMag, Rezin, Lq Wt @ 2ml - 1350ppm and 6.0pH........one of the last feeds. - C471 is a lighter colour than C472. C472 has some green/bluish leaf colour. - I suspect we are going to need Flawless Finish to bring these girls home.....they are still darker than I would like. 👍 That wraps up week 6 and the girls looking really nice. They fill up half the tent nicely and have room to breath. They are a beautiful height to work with. Buds are getting more dense. She will be a nice girl.......I am missing somethings though and she is not finishing as I had worked out in my head😵

Flowering Week 2 The bud development on this Strawberry Gorilla is seriously impressive. Flowers are forming all along the branches and are already starting to connect into continuous buds, even at this very early stage of flowering. The amount of productive growth across the entire plant looks extremely promising. I gave her another fairly aggressive defoliation this week to keep the dense structure open and improve light penetration and airflow. She is growing so vigorously that I’ll probably have to do another round of defoliation during the coming week. Other than that, there isn’t much left to do. The structure is established, the stretch is under control, and she looks very healthy. From here on, it’s mostly a waiting game and watching all those flower sites fill out.

The journey with Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 has officially come to an end. ✂️🌱 The final week went very smoothly and followed pretty much the same routine as Mango Sherbert. During the last stage she only received RO water + CalMag, followed by 48 hours of complete darkness before harvest. She finished with some really nice looking flowers. Compared to Mango Sherbert, the buds were noticeably denser and more compact, but still not quite as rock solid as the Candy Hustle flowers. For me, they landed somewhere nicely in between. Resin production was also very good, with the flowers and surrounding leaves getting nicely frosted toward the finish. ❄️ 🌑 48h darkness 📅 Harvested: August 5th, 2026 ⚖️ Wet weight: ~590 g 🌿 Drying Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 was dried using my regular drying method, just like Mango Sherbert. After the 48-hour dark period, drying took another 7 days. Everything went perfectly – no mold or other issues during the drying process. After trimming, the final dry weight came in at approximately 80 g. 💨 Smoke Report This Chicken n’ Wafflez turned out completely different from the previous one I grew, especially when it comes to aroma and flavor. This phenotype is noticeably sweeter and much less spicy when smoked, which I personally really enjoy. The effect is a little stronger than Mango Sherbert, but still very suitable for everyday use. What I especially like is that it doesn't make me want to sit around doing nothing. Quite the opposite – it leaves me in the mood to do things, be active and talk to people. 😄 For me, that's a really enjoyable type of high: clearly noticeable and a bit stronger, while still remaining functional and social. 🏁 Final Thoughts Overall, Chicken n’ Wafflez #2 finished really well. The buds have a nice middle-ground density, firmer than Mango Sherbert, but not as dense as Candy Hustle, combined with good resin production and a much sweeter profile than my previous Chicken. 590 g wet → ~80 g dry, seven days of trouble-free drying and a final product that I'm very happy to smoke. Definitely an interesting phenotype and a much different experience from my first Chicken n’ Wafflez. 🍗 ? First Rosin Press Experiment As a little bonus after the grow, I also tried pressing rosin for the first time ever. A friend of mine owns a press, so this was more of a spontaneous experiment than something I had planned for the diary. I only used 120-micron dry sift/pollen collected from the trim, so definitely not the cleanest starting material and there is still plenty of room for improvement. For a first attempt though, I'm really happy with how it turned out. 😄 The biggest surprise were the terps, absolutely insane! Very sweet with a nice spicy background, and much more intense than I expected. 🔥 Definitely not my last time experimenting with a press! ?💨

The internodal spacing is wider than her sister’s, giving the plant an airy appearance that should become an advantage later in flowering by improving airflow and allowing light to penetrate deep into the canopy. Fresh white pistils continue appearing at every node, and the first flower clusters are beginning to stack along each branch. Rather than producing compact golf-ball buds immediately, she seems focused on building a long flowering structure that could eventually form impressive spear-shaped colas. At this stage she isn’t trying to impress with density yet—she’s building the foundation for it. ⸻ 🌿 Training Without Stress Like the rest of the project, Pheno B continues proving how effective gentle training can be. Instead of removing leaves through defoliation, I simply keep repositioning larger fan leaves behind developing flowering sites whenever necessary. This small daily adjustment maintains excellent light exposure while allowing every healthy leaf to continue producing energy for the plant. No unnecessary stress has been introduced. The combination of: * 12/12 From Seed * Early Low Stress Training (LST) * Strategic leaf tucking * No defoliation has created a naturally open structure where light reaches multiple flowering sites without sacrificing photosynthetic capacity. Every leaf is still working for the plant. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition & Irrigation This week she continued receiving the same stable Plagron feeding program that has been driving the entire room. With an EC around 1.88, pH maintained at 6.05, the plant continues showing deep green foliage with no signs of nutrient excess or deficiency. Her leaves remain relaxed, healthy, and vibrant, confirming that the current feeding strategy is matching her needs perfectly. Sometimes the best sign of success is that nothing dramatic happens. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment The flowering room continues providing very stable environmental conditions: • Day temperature: 31.1°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 72% • Solution temperature: 21.6°C • Root zone temperature: 21°C • CO₂: approximately 636 ppm Despite the relatively warm temperatures, the healthy root zone, consistent irrigation, and vigorous airflow are allowing the plants to remain highly productive. The entire ecosystem continues operating exactly as intended. ⸻ 👀 Looking Ahead Next week should be particularly exciting for this phenotype. The stretch appears to be slowing, meaning more energy will soon shift toward flower production. The small clusters developing along every node should begin connecting together as calyx production accelerates, revealing the true architecture of this plant. Because of her open structure, I’m especially curious to see whether she develops long, elegant spears or surprises me with unexpected stacking later in bloom. Either way, she’s showing every sign of becoming a beautiful and productive Black Diamond. Sometimes the quieter plants become the biggest surprises by harvest. ⸻ 🙏 Final Thoughts One of my favourite parts of running phenotype hunts is watching sisters express the same genetics in completely different ways. Week2: The plants looks very nice. x 3 are ROYAL Cookies And the two babies are Afghan regular and Diesel fem. The middle Cookies plant is bigger= 2 days older then other ones. You can see the difference. From tomorrow I will start to train the plants. I will LST two small plants. The bigger one will be topped also. The genetic is very good. There are a lot of colas and they are located close. I hope to have time to develop about 8 colas for each plant. Less than three months are left until the end of the RQS cup. So from January 1, I plan to start flowering. The plants eat and drink good. i see small iron deficiency( the leaves are a little bit yellow.) i will Flush the plant with pure 6.0pH water and microelements only. Flushing should remove nutrient salt build-up

This week has been good, no problems to say of. No changes to the light schedule or nutrients. I do have a Lemon Pie Auto doing something strange stuff it is @ 51 days old and is giving off some mutations in the fan leafs, and she stretched to double the height of the other 2 in the tent. Also has begun to develop a few small brown spots on a couple fans too but other than that all is well.

My little lady is going strong. Not as many colas as I hoped but still some nice tops and very sticky! I think she has about a week or two left. At the very top of the bigger colas the first trichomes start to turn amber but the rest of the plant still has mainly clear trichomes. Still hope for the buds to fatten up a bit and I’ll stay optimistic. So far so good ✌️🏼🍀

Lights are down to 28 inches, only running blue spectrum the first 14 days. Will begin nutrients and full spectrum beginning of week 3.

2024-07-29 Show must go on. same for the Outdoor Tangerine SowF1 Fast. I can see signs of Flowers, so next week she will be officially into Floweringstate too. she stretched heavy and spreaded vertically like a folding Fan super structure. and the harvested Plant stands outdoors, too. i look if shes revegetating. she gets water and attention. BREEDER INFO Tangerine Snow F1 Fast Feminised is a 75% sativa, four-way cross of (Boost x Tangelo) with (Lavender x Power Plant). This Fast F1 hybrid is bred from Cali genetics and boasts great citrus terps, high resin production for extracts, high levels of THC, very good yields and excellent mould resistance. Tangerine Snow F1 Fast can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor flowering times are between 8 - 10 weeks while harvest time in northern latitudes is during September while in the southern hemisphere growers will be harvesting during March. Recommended climate regions are hot, dry, humid and warm. These are tall, semi-branched plants that grow in excess of 200cm and display a high degree of vigour with very good uniformity. In common with many other heavily sativa-dominant strains, Tangerine Snow F1 Fast offers excellent resistance to mould as well as to plant pests and diseases. The combination of citrus terps and plenty of resin makes thi a very good extract strain with the 'washing' method delivering very good yields of hash. The citrus terpene profile is reminiscent of mandarins and tangerines and also has sweet candy notes. THC production has been lab-verified at a strong 24% while CBD is low. The effect is uplifting and energising, perfect for use during the day and early evening.

Not much to tell this week, happy to say that she's been doing well over the last week while she has been flushed with ph'd tap water! She is now getting close to harvest time, I think I might let her flush for a couple of days more before I harvest her😁 She is a little older and further along than the rest of the tent, so she will be the only one to be harvested and I will let the three other run until I see amber trichomes develop on them! I planted her a little earlier than the three others to allow me to use her as my "test dummy" for my first run, and so I could make corrections for the other three early on! But even though she has been my tester and has taken a bit of abuse from time to time while I was still more unsure of everything at the start, she has still turned out way better than I ever had dared to hope for when I started this journey over 100 days ago, and the heavy aroma shes giving off is amazing and she has developed some of the more dense nugs out of my four girls so far! 🙏 But yeah I'm thinking that I will harvest her tomorrow or the day after at the latest to let me get a trail run off on drying before I harvest the other three girls, just to make sure I get that process down! Week 7 of Bloom just one more week to harvest!!!

Week 12 Started on June 19, 2022 Finally recovered and lots and lots of defoliation happened, I am talking a compressed ball of leaves and stems the size of a softball. That means I got rid of most the weight below the buds, snipped the buds I didn't want to see straggling, and lollipopped colas -- left a few leaves on. Took a few clones to see what happens. She is doing well, more pics soon. I cleaned the reservoir again, fresh water, drained the autopot and made sure my Ph is 6.3 to 6.7 Adding weak calmag+ to deter the iron lockout I think I saw in early week 11, figuring out dosing now, might need a bit more. Not a ton of nutes added as the plant is progressing well, added a tiny amount of MOAB, also just thinking my single COB flower light is gonna be too weak on its own. We'll see it's early yet. Might need to turn on the supplemental light next week, old school HPS 150 Watt on its last grow. The heat will drive the humidity way way down, and that will be a good thing, just gotta crank the fans on high and no looking back after that. That will be 400 watts in a 3x3 -- HPS is hot as can be. Blütewoche 10: Die letzten Tage Zeitraum: 24.07. bis 28.07. Blütetag: 63 bis 67 Nach rund 9,5 Wochen Blüte war es so weit, Erntezeit! Die Trichome hatten genau das Verhältnis erreicht, das ich mir gewünscht hatte. Ich hab mir meine Japansäge geschnappt und die King Juice kurzerhand am Stamm durchtrennt. Danach hab ich sie vorsichtig samt ScrOG-Netz aus dem Zelt gehoben und sie mitten im Wohnzimmer platziert. Erst da wurde mir das ganze Ausmaß bewusst. Eine richtig große Pflanze, viele Triebe und eine Menge schöner, harziger Buds. Die Headbuds oben waren kompakt und groß, weiter unten gab’s viele kleinere Popcornbuds aber auch die waren fest und klebrig. Nach rund 4 Stunden Trimmen hing das ScrOG-Netz wieder im Zelt, dieses Mal verkehrtherum und vollgepackt mit den einzelnen Ästen. Ein regelrechter Himmel aus Buds 😍 Die Trocknung lief optimal, Temperaturen lagen konstant bei 20–21 °C und die Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 54–65 %. Nach 10 Tagen habe ich die Buds am 07.08. final abgenommen. Optik: Kompakte, daumengroße Buds, viele kleine Harzbomben mit lila Farbtönen Geruch & Geschmack: Fruchtig, süß, würzig, pfeffrig. Wirkung: Sie knallt gut, ist aber trotzdem klar im Kopf. Sehr angenehm! Fazit: Ich bin mega zufrieden mit dem gesamten Grow. Keine Ausfälle, kaum Mängel, Temperaturen und LF meistens stabil und das Beet hat wirklich gut funktioniert. Die Pflanze hat sich wunderbar an ScrOG angepasst, und ich konnte mir damit echt einen kleinen Traum erfüllen. Eine Pflanze komplett durchziehen, schön ausgebreitet im Zelt. genau so hab ich mir das vorgestellt. Es hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht! 😊 Die Vorbereitungen für den nächsten Run laufen bereits, das Beet wird wieder frisch begrünt und ich freu mich auf den nächsten Grow!!! Nachträgliches Update nach 10 Monaten: Die King Juice wurde am 28.07.2025 geerntet und anschließend über 10 Tage langsam im Zelt getrocknet. Bereits während der Trocknung entwickelte sich ein extrem intensiver Geruch mit süßen, fruchtigen und leicht cremigen Noten. Nach dem anschließenden Curing zeigte die Sorte ein sehr rundes und starkes Gesamtprofil. Eine spätere Messung mit dem Purpl Pro erreichte das Sample starke 26 % THC bei einer Restfeuchtigkeit von 8,9 % und einer Wasseraktivität von 0,4 AW. Über die Monate hinweg haben sich Geruch und Geschmack zwar etwas abgeschwächt, sind aber weiterhin deutlich vorhanden und sehr angenehm. Die ursprüngliche extreme Intensität ist etwas zurückgegangen, dafür wirkt das Aroma heute reifer, weicher und harmonischer. Geschmacklich bleibt die Sorte süß, leicht fruchtig und sehr smooth. Das Rauchgefühl ist mittlerweile außergewöhnlich angenehm geworden – fast so, als würde man eine warme Wolke inhalieren. Sehr weich, gar nicht kratzig und insgesamt extrem entspannt zu rauchen. Die Wirkung ist dagegen bis heute unverändert stark geblieben. King Juice liefert einen intensiven, langanhaltenden Effekt mit deutlicher körperlicher Entspannung und gleichzeitig starker mentaler Wirkung. Insgesamt hat sich die Sorte auch nach langer Lagerzeit hervorragend gehalten und zählt definitiv zu den stärkeren und qualitativ hochwertigeren Ernten meiner bisherigen Grows. 😋
