My first plant! :) she took the transplant well, I wanted to get it into the final pot as quick as possible to avoid too much shock. I've already rigged up a hose so I can water it from the outside without opening the tent, just incase there's a huge smell later, I've got nosey neighbours. God bless carbon filters and good air flow! Everything is on a smart plug and I've a camera in the tent so it's basically remote control!

This week I had a beginner's crash coarse in using plant ties with the scrog net to weave it around, took about 15 mins per day once i got the hang of it, learning loads 😀

Massive stretch happened this week, the last picture is 7 days after the rest, that was quite a bit of growth. I didn't get the 2nd net down in time to keep it lower, my tent is 60cm×60cm×158cm so it's a very small space, might be a height issue.

Getting nervous now that the buds won't fill out much more, keep growing baby! Friday update Buds are definitely going to swell now I think she's just about to bulk up, I've got PK 13/14 on the way to finish her Saturday update Just gave her a dose of PK, trimmed up a bit at the bottom, so far so good! Sunday update She's looking beautiful, I can't believe I've gotten this far on my first try! No watering today, feeding tomorrow.

Congrats on your first grow it is looking quite well. I don't think there is much anyone can add to your feedback pool. You seem to have a great grasp on this. I don't see any deficiencies or anything. Great use of LST and SCROG, I would be suspicious if this is indeed your first grow as you are quite good at it, but naturals exists everywhere in life and if you read a lot and prepared yourself well there is no reason it could not reach a 100% success. Good Luck! ***disclaimer, multiple people are answering all questions as there is a contest called GOTM, when a user is selected as the answer they get a point. I'm a newbie getting towards the end of my first grow and I'm wondering about flushing the plant before harvest, ive read that you must stop nutes two weeks before harvest and other accounts say no flush at all till 3 days before cutting, any suggestions on how to finish my grow?

You're going to get a lot of different answers to this question - and it's all going to depend on what YOU want to do. Some people do indeed stop nutes for about 2 weeks before they chop and this is probably the best way of ridding the plant of excess nutrients that SOME people think they can taste in their smoke if not done... but that's really only for folks who use chemical nutrients and who have HIGHLY developed taste buds... which is why some people don't think it at all necessary and don't flush at all. Folks who use organic nutrients probably don't even need to think about this as there WON'T be any nasty chemical taste. Some people do a hard flush just before they chop - but this only rids the SOIL of the nutrients, it won't rid the plant of them so THAT'S kind of useless as well. Whether or not you flush is going to depend on your preferences... and what nutes you've been using ... I personally don't bother and no one has ever complained about the taste even though I DO use chemical nutrients... So good luck on your decision... I'd say it really doesn't matter and to do what is most likely to satisfy YOU... Good luck! Nice that you're almost at harvest!

Monday Gave her a good dose of sugar Royal, and a bit PK and pure zym, touch of alg a mic, all looks good, buds are filling out nicely 😀 Tuesday Small feeding today, heavy on the PK 13/14 I'm fighting the humidity but it's manageable so far Wednesday Got a very small pruning, I don't want to touch it too much plus i only have a 60cm × 60cm tent its hard to work in it and this is a big f##king plant, to be honest I didn't think it would get this big but its my first grow! I've read that's it's not good to prune autoflowers too much but this things getting pretty dense so I cleared out the bottom a bit for air flow. Buds are really swelling now, and I think they are turning blueish purple?! I can see it on all the big colas and they are starting to get sticky! Thursday No feeding/watering today, I'm starting a flush as of now, today is a dry day for the plant so fresh water only from tomorrow on. Today all I have to do is look at it, and she's beautiful! Smell is really picking up inside the tent, carbon filter is earning his keep now, super good those rhinos and I only have the hobby one! Friday Gave her a hard flush today, it took a LOT of water! Just clean water from now on, it think I'm well within 2 weeks of cutting so fingers crossed it keeps going Saturday Absolutely no work done on it today, its a waiting game now and I think I'm going to win soon! Sunday I decided to take a chance and discard some of the small lower branches, I think I should have trimmed a lot more off much sooner, however my inexperience with a scrog net coupled with the small size of the tent and how big the thing grew its become impossible to move it out of the tent and its very difficult to get into the back of it to lollipop it! 🤣 next one will be much better, this is still going to be a big yield I suspect but lots of smaller popcorn nugs will make up most of the weight, there's still about 3 dozen nice colas tho that will hopefully bulk up more, any feedback and tips would be appreciated!

Monday Gave her some enzyme, I think it's supposed to help the plant break down nutrients so we'll see. I'm exactly 70 days from seed, 63 days since I transplant it to the 10 gallon pot, it should be a 10 week auto flower so I'm hoping I'm close to harvest. The flowers are really starting to turn purple now, I suspect its a sign that it's finishing, looks really cool close up! Tuesday No work done today, dry day. I think the buds are ripening, that purple is really starting to come out right across the canopy, can wait to see what it's like right before cutting 😀 Wednesday Gave her 5l of water with 5ml of plagron pure enzyme, I'm checking the trichromes under a glass every day now to try catch the right time to harvest, the buds are so frosty, still clear trics I thunk. Thursday Dry day today, its very nearly finished, trics are stating to turn Amber, I reckon I will give it a week more, maybe less and then I'm cutting! Friday Just clean water today, nearly at the point of cutting! Saturday No work done today, tomorrow is the last watering, its going into 2 days of darkness and then I'm cutting, so much work now so close! Sunday OK, so I think I've given it the last watering, I've just turned off the light and I'm going to leave it in complete darkness for 48hrs, then it's cutting time! 😀 I'm going to hang the plant whole, I'm only going remove some of the bigger fan leaves then dry trim, I've read that it's better that way, we'll see

78 days seed to cutting! Just after hanging her up! No idea of the wet weight of it, I'll update this when I'm trimming it up for the jar and onto curing. For my first grow I'm really happy with it. It was virtually hassle free, I'd highly recommend this strain for anyone doing their first grow it does exactly what it says on dutch passions website. The buds filled out nicely, they ate super frosty, sticky and dense, I'll update on flavour and effect when it's dry. Update 6 days drying Just took a sample bud to see how it's going, it's not dry enough yet for curing but it smokes great already! I clipped one of the nice branches off and I got roughly 4.5 grams from it.... I've got around 30 more branches just like it still hanging! it should be enough to keep me going until I can grow another one. 12 days drying I've finally completed the harvest and it was a mega one! 194grams of dried flower plus I've made a block of cannabutter from the trim, shake and smaller buds that didn't fully form. The butter is super potent, I used over 100grams for a 1 pound block of butter, 10 gram dose of the butter is loads for a powerful effect. The flower is lovely to smoke, really smooth, mild sweet fruity flavor Ash burns nearly white, nice mellow high. This was my first grow so I can't believe my success! I want to be self sufficient from the black market trade that's happening around me, so I think I've achieved that, what I have now will last me months! Plus this has been very rewarding personally, taking care of a plant for months can be very therapeutic 😃

Your doing good the white pistils is sign your still growing. Go heavy on potassium and phosphorus now and light on nitrogen the rest of your grow. She is just starting to bulk now. 🌱👍
