Had a few issues this week mostly with ph runoff, was very high at 8.5 (had been on the rise for a little while given that I have been time poor and a lack of energy this was put on the I’ll do it tomorrow list). Picked up some drip clean and reset the coco. Now getting runoff at 6.4 and improving. The girls have been growing this week some more than others but overall I’m pretty happy with the progress shortest being 36cm tallest 67cm with most averaging 53-55cm. Picked up 2 more fans to keep the air moving and will be hopefully doing some restructuring of the tent to help reduce this humidity and potentially relocating 4 of the girls into the 1.5x1.5 tent to give them all some extra room Other than that just maintaining the light into the plants and trimming where required all be it in stages when time allows Potentially too late in this grow but have moved over to filtered water to remove chlorine, tds remains at 87 for tap water and filtered water but filtered there is 0 chlorine Have dialled up the lights from 45%/45%0% to 45% veg 60% bloom 0% uv for another 6 days if all is looking good will ramp to 60% veg 80% bloom for week 10 and checking for light stress. Have an overlap of 20cm in the hellion vs3 lights which is going to give the centre a bit of punishment. Also looking into putting some co2 grow bags into the tent so the plants can handle the extra light. After 12 hours of increased light there does not appear to be any light stress yet Wednesday 28-Jan - pre flowers have appeared! 1 1/2 weeks into flip 7/8 plants have pistils 1 more to go and I can worry less that there’s a rooster amongst the hens hiding amongst the forest. Have obtained a 20L/day dehumidifier currently stable lights off 25’c 63% lights on 28’c 63% which is a massive improvement from the crazy 80-90%rh we did have. Plants have responded extremely well with their new climate and are well into their stretch (moreso since they have been able to breathe) day 21 defoliation is going to be a big job

Last week in the vegetative stage for these OGs, they're already tall and full of nodes so I'm flipping into flowering light schedule NOW! Plant took well to topping, mainlining, and heavy defoliation and bounced back right away. Stretched quite a bit during flower and stayed relatively uniform. Could have probably top dressed every 2 weeks instead of 3 and leaf to calyx ratio was also a bit more on the leafy side but still produced some nice buds. Overall an easy grow without any issues.

6/14 These are some thirsty girls. It seems the roots have filled the grow bags. The added wind makes it so that I need to stay on top of the water. I also need to spray again. When defoliating I saw some WPM on the very inside of a couple plants. I killed a few aphids on one plant. It seems if I just manually kill them it takes a while for them to repopulate. Also found a worm. I should bust out the BT but I am undecided considering I have the WPM as well. Foliar spray will probably be Dr. Zymes or lost coast plant therapy. Note LCPT seems to not do shit against aphids. Will update as the week progresses. UPDATE: Went back over after noticing strong wind. 15mph sustained wind had my plants going as sideways as possible. Luckily the vertical trellis and supports I made have stopped any major damage thus far. I decided NOT to put tarps up on the south which is where the wind is coming from. I hope I do not regret that decision. I plan to spray tonight. 6/15 Rained all night so I was unable to spray. Surprisingly no damage from all that wind. 6/16 Rained during the night and soil was still wet so didn't water this morning. I noticed markings on one of my transplanted seedlings. Found Thrips. I've never dealt with these before. I was planning on spraying BT but now I'll need to switch to something else. LCPT, Dr. Zymes, or spinosid (captain Jack's dead bug). Considering I have been dealing with PM I'll try to use something that will deal with both. I'll update as I go. I have defoliation I need to do on at least one plant. I also need to reevaluate my space and consider moving a couple plants that way it isn't to crowded. Another windy day but it's from the north west which is better as the tree line and tarps help.UPDATE Went back over and watered all plants. One plant had a slight droop which is surprising considering the two days of rain. The wind dries those grow bags out quick and it was sunny day. I watered the one that looked a "little" droopy first before applying Lost Coast Plant Therapy to the entire garden with a half gallon pressure sprayer. I hope this was a good idea. The droopy plant got treated last. We shall see tomorrow. 6/17 Everything looked great this morning. Lightly watered before feeding 2 gallons. Replaced microbe brew with kangoroots this time. Plants looked very happy. No negative results from the lost coast plant therapy. If anything they look better. My cage is getting overwhelmed. I need to remove at least two smaller plants. They are exploding in that 50gal and the tote. If I removed just those two I think it would work a lot better. I would have more room to work as well. 6/18 LCPT doesn't seem to effect aphids. I noticed a few on ONE plant and had been killing them manually. Population was only on literally a leaf or two. I think my follow up treatment will be Spinosid. It works great and hits pretty much everything. I've used it once already. Plants are incredibly healthy. Leaves were wet so it lightly rained last night. I lightly watered as the soil still seemed moist. Different size containers makes a consistent watering schedule difficult. UPDATE: Went over and watered tonight. Checked the one plant that had a few aphids for aphids and found like a dozen lady bug larvae instead! They survived the wind and had babies! These are just wild guys that are all over the place here. Couldn't find a single bug other than that lol. 6/19 I watered early this morning lightly as the soil was not totally dried out but then it started pouring. Plants looked great this morning. After the rain I'll do some defoliating and check for any remaining thrips. Later in the day we had torrential rain that knocked out my cameras. Plants look fine as you can see and all cams and motion sensors are back online. I have backups but still. 6/20 We had torrential rain but plants are fine. Watered what needed it lightly. Bags dry out fast and I've found I need to water often or some will droop. Found spiders that had killed a couple of my lady bugs. I killed what I could. Still need to defoliate and apply second application of whatever I decide.

This week was nice. Really beautiful hues coming through, great structure , no f ups. The smellsAre amazing. I have started the ripener and cut back on nutrients - after heavy calmag week before and full feed. Aim to do this all this week ready for the flush week

It looks to me like GSC1 it right on schedule and will finish up in about 2 more weeks. I just hope the nutrient burn doesn't effect the yield too much

Week 9 begins! Week 8 went really well. This girl is full of red hairs and she's about 90% clear trichomes, 10% cloudy. Last week of feeding before flushing.

Harvested apple fritter it's grew from 7/4/25 to 11/1/25 and it was 7.5 pounds wet

Day 25 of flowering and the girls are looking great. Bud set is nice and tight node spacing on all five plants.

This week was a great one, lots of sun and gave the plants their 2nd transplant of the cycle. only one left to go in a few weeks, the plan was to do 3gal but I feel it would be best to go upto 4gal a 1extra gallon will not be all that much extra root space to expand into. Will have to check if they even make them in 4. I have a feeling its only 1,2,3. Root wise they are looking similar but not identical. I would say the Dynomyco treated plant has a thicker rootball and more of them. but not by a massive amount. More white on the Dynomyco treated plant as well. added in some more Acti-Sol into the transplant medium. same mix as before. Then watered in with some LAB Serum. should do the plants well. I did not add in anymore of the MIIM microbial mass product as I thought it might alter the results of the grow. so we will see how they do now with out it. I'm really liking how well the plants are bushing up. I might have to take some clones and try them indoors as well. I think I prefer to grow more indica leaning strain for their growth habits. All I’ve done this week was stretch her out as much as possible,,getting as much light to all the buds,,and kept her food levels topped up,, This week I’m going to start giving her water only,,and just let those nuggs flush out the unneeded,,,,,lols ,she looks really good for her age,,,start winding her down now,,,these buds are so tight,,🙏💚💚💚

This grow was full of great smells, tastes, and beautiful looking buds with a harvest time of only 10 weeks. Yeah, I would have liked the buds to have came out more dense in some locations, however with such a short life cycle and exotic visuals this strain offers its a good compromise. I was surprised this strain did so well while in hydroponics given its sensitivity to nutrients, but I think the fast earlier growth DWC offers allowed it to sustain. I'm looking forward to doing this strain again with a better nitrogen scheduling and using Great White Mycorrhizae from the start to see how dense we can get these buds. These are the type of buds you can't find in a dispensary anywhere and if your lucky enough to you will be paying top dollar to walk out with them. Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.
