Discovered spider mites on a lower leaf (as you can see on last photo) I carefully removed and burned this leave and after a long, thorough search I did not discover 1 other affected leaf. Better safe than sorry so I again ordered some bugs to eat the spider mites!

13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. Throughout the week, I've been defoliating all the fan leaves 🍃 The trichomes are looking all milky to me. I stopped watering a couple of days ago, and the pots are totally dry. 14.4.25: Today is Harvest Day! I finally put together my clothes rail, which I'm using to hang my plants on. I purchased a hanging mosquito net for a bed from Amazon. It's black, which will hopefully block out what little light there is in my drying room. Also, to prevent debris from sticking to the buds whilst drying. It hangs from the ceiling so it will just hang over the clothes rail. Additionally, the net will allow good airflow. I put a bit of thought into this method, so I look forward to seeing it in action! 😅 So let's wait a while and find out how much we yielded here! 😃💚✌️🌱👌

6cm vertical growth this week but she threw out some nice side growth. Apologies for the timelapse, it starts halfway through the week and finish/start are in the middle of the week 😳

Buds are getting bigger now and the smell is incredible. Looking forward to planting more at start of may full with nutrients this time to see the difference of yield.

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

Defoliate following moon phase in the biodinamic calendar. Just lower leaf and small flower. Dont know if cut more small lower buds I feel sad cutting that. Did very very small lower defoliate from week 4 to 8 once a week.

This week the time had come, she was ready to be defoliated and chopped down. And it's now hanging to dry, I'm curious to see how high the yield will be.

Growing nice and strong. She's trowing flowers like crazy. No issues to date thankfully. From here on out it's just light defoliation. Other than that I'm going to let her grow from now on with no more LST being that my training was a success imo. Now it's just a waiting game.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Smoke is amazing. Barely needs a cure to even taste good. I’m sure a nice cure would bring the sweet caramel flavor out as there is a hint of it in the smoke. But I’m low on weed so this would have to do.
