June 7: she’s doing better but still not right after the frost a couple weeks ago. Check out coyowolves howling on video. June 8: removed frost damaged colas and composted immediately with coffee grounds, peat pot bottoms, some HP Pro-Mix from a couple of failed peat pots and LAB. Cannabis was assimilated almost immediately and it looked like good compost after about two days. This was my Coffee Canna Compost which was used for some autos. June 10: gave it 2.5 mL/L of FPJ as a soil drench rather than just the usual 1 mL/L as a weekly foliar spray. Plant seemed to grow a lot in the next few days so maybe I should do that more often. June 11: looking better since the frost damage setback. Not as strong in the cool weather as the two Quebec Cannabis Seed plants but as we move into summer this plant should be fine. June 13: recovered the six inches of height lost when I removed the frost damaged colas.

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

This was a very stressful week as there were too many variables at play all at once; even my camera refused to cooperate for the first few days. The freshly transferred plants were starting to droop and I was unsure if it was transplant shock, nutrient burn, or because of the incomplete grow tent. My first batch of nutrients were mixed into a gallon bottle and was weighed by a friend using his scale; this set was enough to last weeks. For this new batch however, I didn't have my scale and used the table spoon as my measuring tool; needless to say when my TDS meter finally arrived, both runoff and the remainder of the mixed nutrients read 2800. Fortunately my light setup seemed to be inefficient still and the plants weren't drawing much nutrients and only ended up with a very light burn on the older growth. All pots were flushed back to recommend levels and the light lowered until the lux values read appropriate. This week ends my daily comments and I'll stick to this end of the week format going forward.

27 days into flowering now. These girls are still stretching, hopefully there done now! I was playing with my light rail mover a bit and experimenting with timings and I think this contributed to it. They definitely got away a bit on me. Lol No biggy, just had to weave a couple more branches through the top screen, canopy is not quite as even as I would have liked, but should still be a good harvest. My HPS light penetrates down to the second screen fairly well in most places I think though. I seem to have 2 phenotypes, 3 are stretching up and skinnier leaves, but 1 is staying lower and has big fat leaves. Dropped my nutrients a bit last week and they seem to responding better. Buds are developing nicely and are ramping up daily. Still running my light at 750w, debating on turning my light up to the full 1000w to get more light out to the side buds but I’m already exceeding 75000 lux on the canopy directly under the light. Not sure how this works with my movers, but I think I’m still gonna play it safe for this next week. Happy growing everyone! Cheers💨

Today is day 19 into flowering these ladies have had a trim and feed. I've untied them and will let them soak up some light and tie them again tmro to get some deeper light to hit the bottom canopy now the lights not being blocked down there

Had to check weather constantly to move the babies in the shelter in case of storm, since I don't want water causing moisture in the buds. I reported the usual temperatures graph provided by a national meteorological society. They are so cute. - DD ( PS. I'm using stupid diary info (lamp distance growing outdoor, nutrient = none, ...) because of how GD algorithm work. Sorry for this. )

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 17, and my garden is blowing my mind! It's like a botanical fireworks show out there. The buds are popping up like they're trying to outshine the sun. I'm so happy I'm doing the leafy dance of joy every time I check on them. I can't believe how beautiful everything is – it's like my garden is showing off just for me. I feel like a proud plant parent, watching my green babies grow up so fast. Here's to Week 17 – a week of beauty, happiness, and the joy of watching nature do its thing. Set 1&2 are out the green house in an outdoor setting but still under light....did some transplanting gonna do the rest in the upcoming week hopefully n maybe take some cuts other than that everything else running smooth Harvest the mother tree at the beginning of the week with would be about 6 weeks....took a few samples n she's hitting to say only dry a few days scent, flavor and effect are on point....still curing her out
