Initial cuttings entry for this journal on the to-be-pollinated F2s. We’ll be backing out each plant specimen against some F1 pollen in an effort to trait stabilize the best bud of the lot. Still debating on pushing my luck with just the aero-cloner through the whole shortened cycle. If not I’ll have to cobble together some sort of shallow dwc bin from scratch to accommodate them for the long haul. Pollen as soon as we see prevalent pistils. ***Grow notes: 2 cuts from each plant specimen against- #5 potentially a male. All lookn great and perky post-cutting. Let’s hope the F1 pollen is still preserved🤞🤞🤞.

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.

. FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. I learned a lot this grow. The plant survived which lends to its resilience. It smells mostly skunky with some hints of rubber. Mistakes: 1. Overwatered seedlings 2. Ran unfamiliar nutes 3. Ran an unfamiliar feed method (fertigated instead of top dressed) 4. Gardened based on web description instead of what the plants were communicating to me. 5. Got a seed Successes: 1. They didn't die! 2. Got climate dialed in well 3. No fungus gnats or other pests! 4. Got 2oz total of good dry bud!

Welcome to week 7 of flower! Our new camera should be in this week so I'll be able to capture better photos! Things are just grooving along at a nice pace, I will be looking to check the trichomes this week to see where everythings at but I know for sure we still got some time left especially for Fuel D.og. Over all really excited to see what this week will bring and hopefully we will be starting flushing the plants by weeks end!
