This strain was a pleasure to grow. No problems presented at all. She is very stress resistant and has some unique structural formations. She smells like a variety of citrus flavors when grown but after being harvested she smells exactly like an orange grove.

My grow light has started messing up. It turns off at random times and when I turn the dimmer knob a little it come back for a few days. This is not what I expected from a high-end priced item. Anyway, I contacted with MarsHydro and waiting for their response. Lowered the humidity level to 55% , although it is a tricky situation. This week I noticed that the leaves are tacoing, my bet is on bad air circulation and too much light. The humidity should be even lower, but I have to wait until she recovers. DLI 40

The garden has officially shifted gears! This week, the "stretch" finally kicked in, and we are seeing the very first pompons (pistils) appearing on all the plants. To support this massive transition, I finally got around to making my WCA to provide the calcium boost needed for these new flower sites. The Game Plan The Stretch is Real: Both plants have jumped in height this week. The Super Boof (grey pot) is stretching with a lot of vigor, while the Strawberry Banana (brown pot) is filling out into a beautiful, wide bush. WCA Production: I spent time roasting eggshells and infusing them in vinegar to create my Water-Soluble Calcium. This is the perfect timing because the plants need calcium right now to build strong cell walls for the developing buds. LST Refinement: I’m continuing to adjust the ties. Now that the stretch is happening, I’m guiding the new growth to maintain an even canopy across the entire garden. The First Flowers: Seeing those white hairs (pistils) popping out everywhere! It’s the official start of the flowering journey. Grower’s Note: The synergy between the Biochar in the soil and the new WCA is going to be huge. The plants look "hungry" for minerals right now, so the timing of this KNF input couldn't be better. KNF Recipe: Water-Soluble Calcium (WCA) (Adding this to my journal for anyone following the KNF path) How I made it: Roasting: I took clean eggshells and roasted them in a pan until they turned a nice toasted brown. This "unlocks" the calcium. The Reaction: I put the shells in a jar and added brown rice vinegar (1:10 ratio). The fizzing was intense—that’s the calcium being extracted by the acid! Fermentation: I’ll let this sit for about 7 to 10 days until the bubbling stops and it's ready to use.

I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 2 ejemplares me quede con los 2 para completar el indoor, también cambie el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, marcaron preflores. Willkommen zurück liebe Community! 🌱💚 Der zweite Genotyp BCH#1erreicht aktuell die Zielgerade der Blütezeit und hat eine eher länglichere und etwas weiter auseinander liegende Blütenstruktur (interniodenabständ) ausgebaut. Die Aromen sind sehr vielschichtig. Angefangen mit einem vorherrschenden starken Zitrus/Limettenaroma gefolgt von einem süßen fruchtigen Touch geht es dann in eine Karamellnote über. Sobald diese Version fertig ist, kommen die Endergebnisse auch in das Labor. Die nächsten Tage wird eine Pflanze vermutlich unter die Scheere kommen. This plant was grown with Nature's Living Soil Autoflower used as a hot mix. Once in flower week 5 I top dressed with a little more NLS and then week 7 I added earthworm casting and phosphorus bat guano. So looking back this plant was small and with tight nodes in the grow phase but once the flowering phase started she stretched out nicely and made a turn around for better. After drying the buds are sticky and littered with trichomes. She came out pretty decent but I think I could do better.

In week 9 my TRICHOME-WONDERS are doing GREAT! All plants continue to grow new flower crowns all over the plants. The branches starts to form colas now...its an impressive sight. The healthy green color and speedy devlopment tells me that the BIO-TABS nutrient tablets are still doing a FINE JOB! I love how convenient and time-saving my waterings are, since the plants ONLY GET PURE TAB-WATER. No more measuring and adjusting ph- and EC-levels feels like a LIBERATION...lol 😄 A few plants like the Strawberry-Sour-Siesel from DevilHarvestOriginal-Seeds are getting so tall, that I need to control their height. My favorite method to do this is SUPER-CROPPING! This is a method promoted by SOMA from SOMA-Seeds and works perfectly to control the height of a plant without having to top her. I pinch the main-stem of the plant (appr. 25-30 cm from the top, right above a node) all around in a circle, so hard that I can feel the fibers inside brake. Then I bend the top part of the stem downwards (ar at least 90 degrees to the side) and let it hang there. The plant will start to heal the stem where it was pinched (it will form an elbow-like shape) and turn the bent part of the stem upwards again. During this time the side-branches grow further in height and the plant will get bushier instead of taller. After the stem repaired itself, the buds on it will turn towards the lights as well and will continue to flower. This way I can control the height and still harvest the top-buds later.

Another good week in the garden. These girls are finishing up now. Some will be picked over the next few days and some will go another week here. Got some recharge and mammoth P for the first time three days ago. Hoping to finish strong 💪

*Day 43 Plant #1: has been suffering real bad with phosphorus deficiency I’ve upped her feed 10 fold gave her 2 litres of bloom feed with 10ml of Bio bloom and 7ml top max total. The plant has been so stressed from this it developed tri bladed leaves. I hope she responds to this feed as I initially thought this was due to lockout. My Soil ph run off is near perfect at 6.3 but can’t test my EC. PPM pen on routé 🤞 * day 44 I think there responding well To The bloom feed. All this time I spent trying to rid of excess nutrients I was just starving them. I believe dark green leaves with red steams is the start of phosphorus deficiency not nitrogen toxicity. Big mistake!! Phosphorus spreads fast when flushing under that presumption. Word of warning guys‼️ *Day 45. Boyy...! These colas!! Plant number #1 if she starts stacking her buds like her sisters I’m gonna be a happy man. Baseball bat colas off an auto in only. Very impressed🤩. Smell coming of these girls now is prolific and filling my grow room. I have tried similar terpene backgrounds before. I can sense the cookies, and gelato, the mixture is outstanding.

Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.
