Her tap root sprouted within 12 hours of wetting! I moved her from paper towels to the aerocloner after only one day.
Mokum’s Tulip was the 1st Prize Best Indica, in the Clouds in the City Cup 2019.
She is a Gelato-based feminized seed variety which has a sweet candy scent similar to a Dutch Tulip. She is very strong with mind-numbing effects achieved by crossing selected Gelato and Sherbet genetics. Terpene rich and THC rich, this XXL variety has rock hard buds, heavy yields and an exhilarating high.
She is looking like a rockstar! I saw a few calcium spots so I increased the calcium nitrate slightly. Her color may be a bit light but she will be up to full strength nutrients in a week or two. I have two younger plants that are being fed from the same reservoir so I’m waiting for them. She’s beginning to branch from the lower nodes.
She is a few days older than passion Fruit and about 4 inches shorter. However, she has side branches that are as tall as her top! I have not performed any training or defoliation she is just an aggressive plant. As usual when she reaches 24 inches in height I will begin flowering.
Moving her to flower tent this weekend she will be 24-25” easy. I’ve done no training to her and she has 4-5 side branches as tall (one is taller) as the meristem. Ok so I moved her to the flower room she’s a might bit bigger than 24” 😂🤣😂🤣
She’s a little taller than I wanted so I’ll be supercropping her for height control. She had a lot of stretch in veg due to the crowding. She has one lower branch that was taller than her meristem.
I’ve outgrown the 4x8 tent and have graduated to a 6x10 room. Everyone was so crowded that some of the side branches were not able to support their own weight! I directed fans to the weaker branches and they seem to be stiffening up well.
Buds are setting in. She’s stretching for the light. I’ve lollipopped most of the lower two feet although I left most of the fan leaves so I can see if she needs anything.
She’s looking great. Buds have set in and are beginning to develop. I’d like for her to get a little taller but I’m very happy with her structure. Really glad I cloned her before she went into flower. She’s growing like a keeper!
She looks absolutely amazing! Buds are developing nicely and she has great color. I’ve done some defoliation to increase the penetration. Buds as low as 30” below the top (47” below the lights) seem to be developing quite well. I have lollipopped below this (bottom 24”). Thanks for looking.
Buds are filling in very well. Hard to believe it’s already been 6 weeks and harvest is anticipated at 8 weeks. It’s been really fun watching her grow. I didn’t really do anything to her this week, I did increase the pk boost by 50% midweek.
We are nearing the end and she looks beautiful. I will flush with plain RO water the next week or two while she ripens. I didn’t do any training to her. I have a clone from her and I cut a few leaves from the top of the meristem when she was vegging and she responded with 6-8 branches catching up with the top.
I started her flush midweek last week. I plan to chop her Saturday so the next update will be the harvest report. I will let her dry for about 90 hours in the myherbsnow and then cure her for a week or two and then add the harvest report.
I let her go another week. The trichome photo was on Wednesday and I was just starting to amber. I’ll harvest her today 22/2/2020 and then do a harvest report in a couple weeks after she’s cured up some.
I wish grow diaries would update the math for harvest. My flowering room is 50sqft. I light with 1200 watts of power. This is 24 watts per sqft. The plant covered 4sqft so light usage was 96 watts (4x24). Gram per watt should be 1.08 (103.7/96). I believe that if you input canopy size for grow room size the remaining calculations would be correct.
