I mean theyre not the biggest. But i saw gelato buds spend in dispenserys (www). Who re smaller than mine. They grow up in height, tall and weight. Trichomes re the same as always... 😛 Har har.. 11/11/18 Start of week 3 of flower. The ladies were feed a bloom aerated tea. I only use organic natural ingredients. Nothing out a bottle. Ingredients in ACT Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Coconut water, Honey, Sillica, Organic Bloom food NPK 3-12-12. After using the Aerated tea I top dressed the plants with the leftofter organic material. 11/12/18 Can't rave enough about BLACK MAGIC potting soil. This grow have been an absolute breeze. No issues whatsoever. Pruned under canopy again today. Plants are beautiful. I HUGGED THEM TODAY!😀 11/13/18 Today when the lights came on I was devastated. One of my rotary fans feel and completely crushed one of my plants. Luckly it was the runt. Its not died but its smashed up pretty bad. I was horrified. Should I pull her? I guess I watch to see if she can recover but the brances are ruined. 11/17/18 The plant that had the fan on it recovered quite nicely and the twisted brances even stood back up. Amazing plant.

Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

Been stuck in a 1.7L pot its grown really nice shape not stunting at all. This wk I'll move these plants from this small pots into 7pots to veg them for 3 more weeks to make em much bigger. Been a very hard job keeping these small pots balanced as the plant dries them up twice a day drinking 2x 200-250ml. So I've been feeding 2x every 6 days. And giving the low EC Nutrients as follow up feeds that v help break down the core npk Master Grow Part A+B 400-450PPM 2 FEEDS 2 TIMES EVERY 6 DAYS. FEEDS This small plant has been drinking 4-500ml a day. With it been so small I feed like this MASTER GROW PART A+B 2.4x.8 lml/1L. silica .1ml-1l 300ppm was given twice a week with 250ml feeds and 250 of just Water later that day ph was kept between 6.6 6.7 (as that's my taps ph) 1 day I make sure it gets enzymes + silica and add these in small amounts when I need to ph master grow. 1 day they get master root ph is unchanged 130ppm 250ml + 250ml of tap later that day 1 day they get calmag 150ppm added to 1L of tap and 250ml is given and water later that same day 2 Master grow Feeds every 6-7 days 250ml 300ppm 1 calmag 150ppm 2 master root, enzymesz silica used to adjust ph when needed and given solely once a week for the past 3 weeks. These have been my rough feeding table as big and old as the plant is, its size and intake of fluids plays a more important role..and doesn't need tweaking but consistency. Applied LST clips this week am going to move them into pots where they can get bigger. As these pots are to small to switch from veg to pre flower. Will veg for 2-3 more weeks. Using the same methods with slight water increase to sustain a full day without needing 2 feeds. Thanks to Xpert Nutrients for allowing me to try their whole line. Doing an amazing job. ******Week 5 Veg - Jan 6 to 12, 2020 This was a week of growth. She grew up and did very well with a couple of her side branches thickening up. She is a very healthy girl but she is not flipping. I wrestled with this weeks journal because I wanted to get it started to show her great growth but all along I was not sure if I call this week a flower week or not. In the end I waited and I am calling it a Veg week😥😥 She is not flipping......freaking wants to though by all signs.......I got a suspicion but I hope I am wrong......I don’t want to run two flower cycles! IPM spray with Lost Coast Plant Therapy.......recent thrips experience and staying with a preventative cycle💀👻 Some branches are stiffening since the introduction for silica but others are still very pliable. The main stem is still very “bendy” and perfect for LST right now. Too soft for entering flower given the silica. Why? She has handled the light intensity fine.....she has not been going to sleep early. She has handled the nutrients well given the amount being put in anticipating her switching and wanting the flower dosages. She is beautiful little girl at first glance but she has some oddities in her growth......keeping the grow interesting she is young Skywalker😎 👍 More detail: Jan 6/20 - Day 29 - 2L RO water pH 5.7. - Run-off: 1150ppm, 6.1pH in try from last. After feed 800ppm, 6.0pH - Pot light today. Wanted plain water but she is feeding Jan 7/20 - Day 30 = life was busy........nothing done today for watering. - Pot was the heaviest of the bunch......enough to wait. - She was more droopy today.......cold in the tent though....75 degrees????? Jan 8/20 - Day 31 - Feel she is hungry so fed in AM today. - AM: full feed except no CalMag - AM run-off 900ppm, 6.2pH - PM: full feed with CalMag. - PM run-off 430ppm, 6.1pH - No time tomorrow morning and pots were not heavy so decided to feed again in evening. - She is green and happy.......no bud sites though? Jan 9/20 - Day 32 - Life busy......noting done......heavy feed yesterday. Jan 10/20 - Day 33 - Water only. 1L pH to 6.0 = IPM tonight so keeping it light today. Hit her tomorrow with full feed. = She is looking AWESOME today. Up and happy and still no buds😨😕 - Spray with Plant Therapy from Lost Coast for bug prevention. Fortunately no signs of any issues.......and this will keep it that way😁👊 Jan 11/20 - Day 34 - 2L feed. Upped the base nutrients, Dual Fuel, today to 2ml/L. Wanted to break 1,000ppm and see what happens. - With Advanced Nutrients I am usually over 1100ppm at a similar stage. - Played with light intensity in the tent today by giving them all more. - Pulled 2 fan leaves today. - Limbs are growing funny. Soft and narrow and not typical symmetrical pattern of growth. Jan 12/20 - Day 35 - huge growth night....side branches bushed out and got taller!! - Supplemental focus on this feeding.......help root zone again. - Voodoo and Piranha for two weeks again at the start of flower and promote growth. Sensyzime to help clean up the roots for better uptake. - she is 13" tall and 18" wide now. - 4 large leaves removed and two smaller nodes. 1/5/2020 - Finally! Changed her over to the "Early Bloom" nutes. Reduced FloraGro and increased FloraMicro and FloraBloom as well as added Liquid KoolBloom. As you can see she is unbelievably happy and those two pictures of the leaf issues are the only places she has shown any issues. I was only able to see these as a result of removing her from the tent. Had I not done so, I wouldn't have known about them until harvest day. Anyways, buds are starting to form and she has started slowing down, nearing the end of stretch. Hopefully she will peak out about here so her buds will stay in the optimal 30-40cm distance from the light. This should place most of her primary buds in the 600-700umol range, which is about as optimal as I can get in such a space currently. Here are the comments. Continuing on with the sexy ultra awesome General Hydroponics EXPERT LEVEL NUTRIENTS which are making the trichomes and the smell go insane! Can I prove it's the new nutrient? Not at all because this isn't a rigorously conducted scientific experiment but anecdotally, it's making a difference. I have two new white widows that are growing using the expert schedule and they are the healthiest plants I have ever grown. Too bad I didn't start this autoflower with the full nutrients from the beginning. I've never had a prettier plant though, good genetics from Sweet Seeds.
