While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Activaron 24hs en un vaso de agua sin cloro. Luego al tupper con papel (rollo de cocina). Luego de 3 / 4 días ya se pasaron a tierra. En los primeros días y luego, en toda la etapa vegetativa vamos a usar un humidificador para tener una humedad entre el 70% y 80%

Day 33-40 (May 24th-May 31st) (Day 34) I just found a herm branch on the tight blueberry pheno. It looks like a random pollen sack opened right above a lower branch. I removed the sack but I saw a small amount of dust fall onto one of the lower branches. I’m going to leave it to see if it will pollinate that small branch at all. I spent a good 5 minutes looking closely for bananas or claws but couldn’t find anymore. The main bud is clearly unaffected so I will just leave it unless it is visibly seeding itself. Too bad because I’m really excited for this plant. (Day 36) Not a lot has happened since I flushed them. Growth actually looks healthy and I don’t see any deficiencies on anything yet. (Day 37) Both of these badazz cheese phenos are picture perfect and easily hold up against Canadian and California quad grade. I might try to reveg them at the end and take some clones. They have this unique pungent, grassy, sour milk smell that is just wonderful. The density and bud structure is looking great too. This whole plant will probably take 3 minutes to trim if that. (Day 38) Just found a banana on the shitty blueberry pheno. This pheno is trash and I would honestly throw it away if it didn’t mess up the 3 perfect rows. It has almost no frost, no smell, is airy and has bad structure. I’ve actually never seen a plant with such little frost. Even outdoors. (Day 39) I think most of this tent will be done by day 60 but I will probably ride it out until day 70+. I don’t think the blueberries or the jacks will fill out very much either way but taking it too day 70 will ensure maximum production from each plant.

Well, she keeps disappointing me a bit. If you see her development compared to the two other strains, she is miles behind. Not stretching that much, and flowering stays behind. Im checking for male signs every day as I suspect she might go on me. All conditions are the same. This is a 9 euro seed. 4 of them didn't germinate. 50 bucks down the shitter. The plant right next to her comes from a one dollar seed, xtrakush at weedseeds.site. That's why I plead for the growers to share their lucky shots and give the small-time breeders a break. Also a plea for an expiry date on the products, for the price vs cost of production, we can expect that service. that way renowned breeders also protect their name when third parties sell old seeds to growers that leave bad reviews. 05.04.21 Anfang der 3ten blüte Woche.Hab mich jetzt dazu entschieden das biegen und binden ein zu stellen natürlich halte ich weiter die Blätter unter dem netzt aber ich erlaube den Ladys jetzt durch das Netz auf zu steigen hab ja noch genügend Platz nach oben(hoffe ich). Das Wachstum is immer noch ziemlich stark ich denke mal das wird sich diese Woche auch nicht wirklich viel dran ändern und sie zieht vom trinken her stark an hab anfang der ersten woche 1x 4l mit Zusätzen gegossen und das hat 7 Tage gehalten bin jetzt an Tag 15 und muss alle 4 Tage 4l giessen gutes Zeichen denke ich mal..... 06.04.21 hab heute nur Blätter unters netzt gesteckt und schon von meinem nächsten Grow geträumt..... 07.04.21 wieder ein Tag vergangen und mehr als Blätter unterm Netz halten und hier und da mal ein Blatt entfernen war heut auch wieder nicht los... 08.04.21 heute war mal wieder bewässern dran und das tägliche Spiel Blätter weg stecken sonnst war nix weiter..... 09.04.21 hab das gefühl das das Wachstum anfängt sich ein zu stellen und Blätter hab ich heut wieder unters netzt gebogen was das hoch drücken der Blätter betrifft sind die Ladys ziemlich stark und eigenwillig gehe 2x täglich runter drücken unters netz werde nächstes mal eine kürzere Maschen weite fürs netz nehmen dachte 10 cm ist genug platz aber 5 cm pro Kästchen sollten sicher auch reichen das macht das spiel mit dem biegen und binden sicherlich einfacher und lässt die Blätter besser an Ort und Stelle Ach ja und ein paar Blätter hab ich heute noch entfernt ist aber auch bald mal Ende mit Blätter entfernen ich will sie nicht zu stark stressen... 10.04.21 Blätter unterm netz halten knapp 2 Std einige Blätter entfernt die von unten gegen die buds drücken sonnst war nix.... 11.04.21 hab heute wieder mal nur Blätter unters netzt gedrückt und den Pflanzen beim wachsen zu geschaut die Woche lief super bin echt stolz auf mich das ich die Finger so gut von der schere lassen könnte die letzten 21 Tage hab das netzt mal fast voll bekommen obwohl ich zu geben muss das die Masse die da wächst mir angst macht vor schimmel im späteren Verlauf des grows....

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

Both shot up in size over the past week or two, ones at 113cm other now at 130cm, tallest has been bent over and tied down to hopefully stop the growth, coming along well now and can't wait for the next few weeks to pass, First ever grow only done LST on 1 plant let the other grow naturally but put a few ties on it this week to get more light exposure as it seems way behind the other and there is only actually about 2 days in them, what are peoples thoughts on how its looking? Thanks

This is a great auto strain if you can find it. Very difficult to find these beans, but definitely worth it if you can. Very easy to grow. LST and defoliation are all she really needs to be happy. I used FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil and ph balanced water only, no nutes. Overall very pleased with this girl.

Dream Queen #1 tallest @ 5.5". Been a struggle this week trying to dial in humidity. Had ranges between 20-80%. Hope to get a humidity controller this week. Watering with leftover fish fertilizer from last feeding. Added 8 oz of worm juice from my worm farm totes. 20% runoff with 6.2 ph and 2900ppm. Crazy high I think. Watching to see how the react before I make any adjustments. 1/13 everything going as planned 2 dream queen and 2 g.s.c transplanted to 1 gallon pots

Fast Buds CC growing nicely, just starting her stretch. I accidentally snapped the stalk about half way through doing some LST bending. Oops! I guess that's HST now 😮 Oh well, I taped her up and she's doing fine 👍

Plants are getting too big for enough light coverage, so had to buy a second grow light. As noted before, the plant was getting out of hand and growing at many different heights making it difficult to set the optimum light distance. So, I went a little crazy and did some serious pruning (yes, during flowing, I know). Also trimmed off a number of fan leaves that were either beginning to yellow or were otherwise blocking valuable light from the many of the smaller buds. Fortunately my plants are very resilient and are finally at mostly equal heights now. Hindsight 20/20: I now have a better idea of how to route my plants using the ScrOG method. I found a well written blog that answered all the questions I had that other article didn't. Bottom line: Instead of allowing the main branches to grow through the netting and re-route the offshoots, I've found it's better to keep the main branches under the netting and allow the off-shoots to grow through instead. Think of it as the plant growing sideways.

This week marks the end of our cultivation cycle with a final wet weight of 1720 grams from a setup featuring the FC4800 light dimmed to 65% maximum, utilizing 108 watts over an area of approximately 0.48 square meters. Final Harvest Metrics: Yield Efficiency: Achieved an impressive yield efficiency of 15.92 wet grams per watt, underscoring the efficiency of our light setup. Area Yield: With a productivity of 3583.33 wet grams per square meter, our cultivation space was maximized for optimal output. Plant Yield: Each plant contributed significantly, averaging 573.33 grams, highlighting robust growth and development. Density: The garden hosted 6.25 plants per square meter, optimizing space without overcrowding. Energy Utilization: The grow utilized 225 watts per square meter, a testament to our strategic light management. Transplanted and topped today. I always transplant and top at the same time as new shoots equals new roots! Maximize your grow! The roots are looking amazing for this transplant. I made another coco perlite and gaia green mix. This time with a 1:2 ratio of the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 because I will be flipping to flower the week after the plants have recovered from topping. On transplant I use a mycorrhizae powder to reduce transplant shock and aid in nutrient uptake and root development. They still need some nitrogen to support them during the stretch but the added phosphorus helps with the stretch along with potassium to setting buds. I also installed my first layer of trellis to weave the plants in early. At the end of the week I got 2 autos and wanted to see what I could do with them so I planted them and then also got rid of one of the Caramel Creams (C.C) because it was lagging behind the other one a little to much.

18/08/25: Last update before harvest, just about a week to go! Both plants are nearly ready and the differences between them are really starting to shine. One has taken on a stunning red hue over the past days, while the other has faded almost completely, signaling that it’s in its final stage! 😍 The aroma in the garden is intense now. The reddish, Indica-leaning pheno is absolutely dripping with resin and carries a distinct spicy, earthy scent. In contrast, the second plant has focused heavily on bud growth, with a massive main cola and a sweeter, more tropical fragrance. The bud-to-leaf ratio isn’t ideal, but I think that is to be expected when running autos outdoors at 52° latitude, where the climate can be a bit cool and unpredictable. Still, I could not be happier with how they’ve turned out! This being my first time growing autos, it’s been a really rewarding experience. 😁 Also so far I didn't encounter any pests/mold, no issues at all...fingers crossed it stays that way for this last crucial week before the chop! 🤞🏼☀️
