CALIFORNIAN GOLD DWC 19th April 2024 8 Weeks of flowering finished and I have emptied the rez and refilled with plain rainwater . I don't know how important ph'ing the water is for the flushing week but just to be sure , I dropped it to 5.7 👌 She sure smells good and the harvest window is fast approaching . Week 5 and we are sailing along just topped dressed the plants as of day 30 and feed them their weekly organic mater with compost tea and top dress some home made worm castings adding worms and biology to the soil. 2 more week since the one gallon and then into their final home. Removed all big fans as of day 31 to allow all side branches to grow out into a bush. The little fans will replace the bigger ones. Strong Smells of lemon lime noticeable after handling plants

I think that this is as good as they're gonna get. Gonna pull them both down and start a fresh one trying to keep it cooler cos mid 30s everyday is not good. Learned a lot this time, hopefully much better next time! Also took the top off the stardawg last weekend, should almost be smokable now!!

There is a timelapse of this week, Blueberry is in the background. This entry covers days 30 - 38. This week has seen violent acts. I've topped the blueberry. She's doing well! I've started to give this plant less light so I can give more energy to the flowering GSC auto. I'm not sure how much this will stunt my plant. Lately my feeding schedules for both this plant and my GSC auto are obtained by following the GH Flora Series recirculating feed chart on the General Hydroponics website. I put the amounts they suggest for 1 gallon, but I use 3 gallons of water. So, I give the plants 1/3 of what the feed chart recommends. It's worked well so far. My plants are thriving, and I haven't seen signs of nutrient burn. The only deficiencies I encounter are Cal Mag. I remedy this by mixing in some tap water with my RO water.

As this is my first time I just followed the instructions on the box. I watered with nutrients, followed up by a watering without nutrients.

Now they have enough space for full flowering. I'll wait for the fruit to ripen as long as I can. The smell of these plants is almost there, so I can safely give them extra days of life.

It’s been over a month of cure and I’ve been dipping into the stash frequently. Love this strain as a mid day smoker or even morning times. It produces a strong but not overpowering cerebral high allowing you to go about your day as planned, just in a better perspective. Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.
