Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. May, 1st. Up to 10 week of Floweing sounds long to me Iam not that Patient Person^^... but I try. To me the Plant looks ready, and i see no big Change from last week on Trichomes are mily/ amber, well the other Singns are not so clear like discoloring and Piistils,,,, But i see adense Mass of long Trichomes We will see I go on watering and Feeding and keep her Happy

after this week I will check the status of the tricoms and accordingly I will start the flush with Advanced Nutrients product

Cut out a few leaves blocking buds. Smaller plant didn't like the quantity of nutes like the taller girl so cut back on her but 40in girl still giving full and loving it. Strawberry terps starting to come through, Lsd overpowering her in smell but any time I move leaves its super fruity 🍓 hope they continue to pack on weight. Can't wait for the full terps to come through. Happy growing 🌴

Yeah, we’re currently in week 8 of flowering, and everything is going according to plan, as usual. At this point, I pretty much just have to make sure my FlexiTank stays topped up from time to time. The ladies don’t drink as much water towards the end, so I might only need to check the tank every couple of weeks. Other than that, I just pop in from time to time and watch the ladies grow and the buds develop. It’s such a beautiful sight once again. I honestly don’t want to leave the grow room, but unfortunately, I’ve got other things to take care of too. 😂 It’s not my main job, after all — just my hobby. 🌱💚

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

December 21st: 2.5ml Armour Si, 1ml CalMag, 5ml FloraMicro, 1ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml Floralicious Plus, 1ml Rapid Start, both plants got .75gal pH to 6.8, 650ppm December 26th: 2.5ml Armour Si, 1ml CalMag, 6ml FloraMicro, 1ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml Floalicious Plus, 1ml Rapid Start, 1/2tsp Recharge. Both plants got just under 1gal each, pH to 6.6, 850ppm, watered until runoff, RUNOFF: 2300ppm, 6,0pH. I did a defoliation today as well. Also, i will be flipping these girls into flower on Monday December 30th. That is the actual day my 7th week starts I'm starting to mess around with video editing as well so hopefully in the future i can give you guys some cool videos.

I've started this week with a heavier defoliation. Not sure it's worth it but I want to try it anyway, might as well make experience. I want to take a break from defoliation though, she's still my first plant so I really don't want to overstress or damage her. Pistils are getting bigger and I can't wait to see the bud! Watching carefully the flowers development as I've never seen that before. Hoping in some final stretch. End of the week: she stretched almost 10 cm in four days. I love this plant. I also rised the EC to 1.7. Still waiting before switching to Canna Flora nutrients. She's beautiful and bushy, I definitely need to slow down with those little frequent defoliations tho. Don't want to stunt her growth, especially now.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m no expert on this and I need some help. It seems some of the flowers according to my information at least, have gone on into the pre-flowering stage because of some of the white pistils. Am I too early or too late? Or is this just how the plan is going to be naturally also if anyone has any budget friendly suggestions on how to increase a yield…please throw us a life line. HAPPY GROWING AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Babied these girls and shows the capability of some strains under optimal conditions. Especially throughout flower. Progress is becoming very noticeable.

Week 6 of my Runtz Fem Green Sensation test with/without using Plagron soil. The mother will be raised on Xpert Nutrients. And then when I take clones in the next week or 10 days. I'll be growing them as close as possible using Terra line from plagron. Days 35-40 Plant is really starting to push. Making sure to not the soil dry up. I only topped yesterday, so I'm hoping the nodes will start growing now. Giving me 4 sets. 1 row ( 2 sets/4 clones) will be taken. And from those 4 the 2 best rooted will be grown very similar to this using Plagron & of course Green Sensation with & without. I'll be using separate 9L pots once rooted to give them a good few weeks of veg without any need to uppot to bigger veg pots delaying the veg. Xpert Nutrients continues its amazing job. Seeing real growth now pushing it on. I won't bother doing any major fan leave removal until their nodes develop a bit more. Nutrients have been kept low. As its only been put in fresh grow mix a few weeks back. Mainly my focus is on roots, calmag & silica for stress. As you can see. I'm getting a very nice pheno for cloning. Day 41-42 She's moving along at a much quicker pace since topping 3 days ago. I think I'll have to remove fan leaves. As it continues focusing on growing leaves. 23/9/26. day 36 from shedding the shell,today watered with "big bud". A couple of days ago, I switched on the light up to 100% to put maximum light pressure on it and prevent it from stretching. But this gorilla monster, on the contrary, went looking for even more lumens. rapid growth and stretching began, but we always have a scrog🤙🏻🕸️✌️ 27/9. day 40 from germination,defoliated 20%~all shoots and leaves under the scrog mesh. 29/9While bending the central stake, the trunk bent between the 5th and 6th internode. 😈 Thus, another stress training session—HST—supercropping🌾 was spontaneously added.

Smooth week - final harvest. Plant 5 was a surprisingly quick trim :)

The strain is a easily maintained but yet very durable plant to grow from nutrient deficiency, climate to even pests. A recommended strain if you are looking for a nice smooth smoke that's a hard hitter and a lasting effect
