Well another week for this adoptepted Gelato. I got simi bad news. The main stem snapped! It Snapped while tying branches down. Trying not to panic, i tried to put the branch back together again nice and tightly with some tape. After securing the branch I gave this plant a good feeding. Im really keeping my fingers crossed with this girl, only time can tell. Let me kno what yall think. If she do not bounce back, I plan to go ahead with the flip and get what I can from the remaining branches...

Today is the beginning of week 5, 1 week since i began this diary. She is making excellent progress, , I am not sure what the yellowing is. Potassium, phosphorous, salt buildup, pH issues? Not sure. I just received my pH meter and Up Down solutions. So now I can keep better track of her. I highly recommended this strain, she grow so really fast, trains well, and her aroma is the best I've personally found, a mixture of cotton candy, skunk and mint. She's is amazingly beautiful in her bud stacking and wow! Those trichomes. She has a CBD content of 11% (average strain %). For the beginner and for medicinal value this strain is perfect to get to know a little better

First week of seedlings just about done. Seedlings emerged by March 8th or 9th. Going great so far, 6/6 alive, one sort of okay. Fox Farm Happy Frog base soil. Aiming to keep best 4 for a Scrog, only have max 150cm height in the tent (low basement). Aiming for VPD around 0.6 to 0.7.

1st of November, HARVEST, D91 So, after the 24 hours of darkness, she is now beautiful and ready. After chopping her, I hung her for some hours – I had some stuff to do – and after that I did wet trimming since I find it more convenient and I don´t like to trim dry buds. I guess the best way for me would be to leave it drying for some days, do the trimming, then leave it drying some more, but, I sincerely don´t have patience lol. When I was in the last stock to trim (which was the main btw) the top bud looked strange to me so I opened it and it was starting to rot.. I got really sad but what can I do except for trying to save it, right? So I took all the rotten parts out of the top bud and tore it to pieces to watch it closely and keep it from getting any more mold. D94 Today I weighed the half part of the top bud that was already dry and it remained without any mold: 3.6 grams. D97 Everything is dry and now curing, the total weight is 68.6, 65 of the whole plant and 3.6 of what I saved from the rotten bud. I´m really happy with the results, the buds aren´t much dense but they look beautiful. D111 Today is the 14th day of curing. D120 Today I´ll be doing the smoke report, it´s been curing for 3 weeks and the smells is quite good already, I know it can be better but the taste is good already so I´ll be doing it today. hello. this is the first plant I have used big bud and bud candy but I don't test the water and the plant was damaged with high PH so I had to buy a PH meter and TDS meter so wish me luck with other plants

Yo! Week 2 Flower diary. Honestly I'm lost now I'd say it's closer to the end of week 3. I've done a full res wash, sterilization and refill ahead of adding another 5 plants. Even in one day I'd say I can see a visible 'perk' in these girls since doing that. Now off big bud and onto PK. They were showing signs of K deficiency so I took that and threw in some PK and the results speak for themselves. Frost is now in full swing. Got me drooling at the already grapey terps coming from them. Photos are poor this week as lights had already come on before I got to them. Will try for some with just the fluorescent on next week.

Only ph'ed water this week I have to add a few days till harvest...many plants still produce alot of bud...

First off. I DO NOT USE TERRA AQUATICA NUTRIENTS. I USE FLORANOVA GROW AND FLORANOVA BLOOM The Silver Widow is a beautifully structured girl with great resistance to the elements. She is naturally one big bush without topping her. The smells from this girl is something to behold. At times it's all you can smell throughout the entire yard. This girl makes me smile every time I look at her. Flowering time is approaching very soon. Looking forward to some sticky flowers. Thanks for the interest my friends.

So it’s coming up on 60 days by the end of next week and they are starting to fade already both have massive colas and starting to show some nice colors thanks for the likes I’m gonna run 4 3gal pots next run and they will be autos I’m liking this hope they smoke good

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Beautiful pair of haze berries, both phenos #1 and #2 showing strong healthy roots and big leafs, can't wait to flower this ladies out, I Transplanted the plants after 17 days of being planted on February 2nd because the roots were super well developed and I considered that it was the right time to do so. So now they are in their new 11l house.

Explosion of leaves from the 15th to the 17th day, then on the 18th day we start to see "normal" leaves, and on the 20-21st day we have hope that it will become a normal plant 😄

Day 78 plants are now going to grow outdoor. Clones coming along nicely. This week I'm giving the mothers a chance to get used to outdoor grow. Day 84, mother enjoying the sun, got 91 clones from the first 3 batches.
