a new grow is on the cards. it will be a race between two fast-flowering varieties. On one side we have fast buds with gorilla cookies and on the other side zamnesia with green crack F1. i'm trying to create the same conditions for both as much as possible. it will be an outdoor grow in an autopot flexipot system. both will get the same fertilisation and have the same substrate to grow in. the substrate is a mix of expanded clay from Plagron and coconut fibres from Canna. The fertiliser comes from Hesi. germination went very well. i first put the seed in water for 24 hours and then placed it in a wet paper towel for another 24 hours. the seed germinated after a total of 48 hours. then i planted it in the coco substrate and after another 48 hours the seedling broke through the soil and got its first rays of sunshine. it will be my last outdoor grow for this year and i'm looking forward to seeing how the plants grow in late summer.😋

Hello Growmies, As we observe the growth in week 15, I'm filled with both anticipation and awe. She continues her impressive swell, and new white hairs have emerged, suggesting that the end of January might be too soon for harvest. The delicate balance of maturity is playing out before us, as the first few trichomes take on an amber coloration, signaling the onset of peak ripeness. There's a noticeable increase in her aromatic presence – she's getting louder, so to speak, filling the space with her potent scent. A beautiful fade is underway; the lower canopy leaves have turned a bright yellow and are gracefully falling away, a natural progression as she directs her energy to the buds. These, in turn, are taking on a striking purple hue, which is becoming more pronounced day by day. Each day brings a change, a new layer of complexity to her form. The way she's maturing, the hues she's revealing, and the scents she's exuding all contribute to the feeling that she's one of the most remarkable plants I've grown. Her feeding remains consistent at 4 liters of nutrient solution every four days, sustaining her through this critical phase. The light spectrums continue at full capacity, and she seems to savor every photon that falls upon her. With new growth still apparent, I'm considering adjusting the harvest timeline. Patience is key, as is careful observation of her trichomes and overall health. We're entering what may be the final stretch, but only time will tell. The yellowing of her leaves, the purpling of her buds, and the sweet, loud fragrance she's giving off are all signs of a successful grow coming to fruition. Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

8/12 day 64 plants in smaller pots suffer a bit from nutrient deficiency. Living soil seems to fit better in large setups, anyways they will be feeded with tap water only until i chop them.

2/3/22: Watered with only aquarium water, no nutes. They are all getting very thirsty! Sherbert was dry and droopy yesterday so I watered her yesterday. I watered all other plants today, they seemed mildly dry/very slightly droopy - so I gave them between a ½-¾ of a gallon each. I'll have to keep a close eye on Sherbet she's very thirsty & she gets hangry easily! (hangry = droopy:)

Week 3 tested us with some brutal heat—the garage hit 98°F and stayed in the 90s most of the week. I held off on training to avoid stressing her further, but despite the conditions, she pushed through like a champ. On Day 20, she officially hit pre-flower, with pistils showing at the nodes. And today, Day 21, I started gentle LST, giving her a soft first bend to open up the canopy. I’ll continue shaping her slowly over the next few days to avoid over-bending like last time. Watering was based on feel and pot weight. I gave her RO water three times this week—once with Cal-Mag—and she absorbed it slower than usual after I topped the pot with fresh soil. No signs of overwatering. To finish the week strong, I brewed and applied my first batch of compost tea (“Tea Party #1”) using worm castings, molasses, and fish emulsion. It steeped for ~18 hours with strong bubbling, then I diluted it 50/50 with RO and gave her a healthy feed to kick off flower. Despite the heat, she’s right on track. Week 4 starts tomorrow, and I’m hyped to watch her stretch and stack.

So close to ready, I probably could take her down now, but my thinking is that since this is a cbd strain, I'll leave her longer and get more of that couch lock. Flushing her so giving 0 nutrients, only phdown. She is in the garage more than she is outside because the weather is so bad, so I improved her accommodation, put her under a couple of sky100s and surrounded with some reflective material I have, bundled the buds as close as possible to get more lights concentrated.

Its supper time I'll be back. Hello. This week went smooth. It's powdery mildew season outside, my zucchini, squash, cucumbers and pumpkin, all have it. I spray everything with half an ounce of apple cider vinegar to1 quart of water. I've been trying to keep the humidity down and be proactive about it. Treat the root zone with cal mag. Spray something on the leaves (not fungicide). The buds are fattening up. Still a few weeks to go. I flower for 10 weeks, and flush for the last 14 days. I'll add more later. Have Fun and Chuckles! I mentioned in week 3 I had the chance to take some clones from 3 stressed plants. Barneys Farm Pink Kush made it through, but the Godfather Kush OG and the Tom Ford Pink Kush didn't. Luckily when I phoned him he said " Yea come over, I want to get your opinion of my plants anyway". So I'll keep ya updated. Chuck. Wow, he gave me a small plant of Tom Ford Pink Kush. A bit of welling and dealing. And I got 1 cutting of the Godfather Kush OG. So one more try at that one. It was a hot and windy day here 29 c. in the greenhouse. Chuck.
