420 Fastbuds Week 9 Amnesia Zkittlez Auto Hello Growers young and old, far and wide. Week 9 for these 2 gorgeous ladies. Definitely getting close to chopping them the trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few amber. I'm looking for 70/30 of amber to cloudy. The smell is super strong and flowers are dense to the touch. All in all Happy Growing.

🌱 Folder 09 | Candy Rain Auto Week 1 – Finding Her Rhythm Welcome to the first chapter of Candy Rain Auto in the 8×8 Adventure. Unlike many of her neighbors, Candy Rain didn’t have the easiest start. She entered the room a few days later than the rest of the project, immediately placing herself at a slight disadvantage on paper. But plants don’t read calendars, and every phenotype writes its own story. The purpose of the 8×8 Adventure has always been exactly this: documenting every individual plant honestly, allowing each genetic to express itself naturally under identical conditions. There are no races here. Every plant is given the same opportunity to demonstrate what it is capable of. Already during this first week, Candy Rain is proving that patience is often rewarded. While initially producing only simple juvenile leaves, she quickly transitioned into healthy three-finger leaves, with each new set arriving larger, wider and noticeably more vigorous than the last. The journey has only just begun. ⸻ 🌿 Grow Environment The entire room remains carefully controlled to provide every cultivar with the same stable environment. Pot Size: 15 Litres Because Candy Rain emerged slightly later than the rest of the room, irrigation has been adjusted specifically to her needs. Rather than following the volume given to the larger plants, watering remains concentrated around the young root zone, encouraging the roots to actively search through the substrate while avoiding unnecessary saturation. ⸻ 🌿 Nutrition Candy Rain is receiving exactly the same Plagron Terra program as the rest of the garden, simply scaled appropriately for her stage of development. Feeding Schedule * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — adjusted when necessary * Lemon Kick — adjusted when necessary The objective during these first weeks isn’t rapid top growth—it’s establishing a healthy root system capable of supporting explosive development once flowering begins. A strong foundation always pays dividends later. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Watching this week’s progression has been incredibly satisfying. The earliest photographs show a delicate young seedling still carrying its juvenile characteristics. By the end of the week, however, the transformation is obvious. The stem has thickened considerably. Leaf spacing has become more symmetrical. The newest growth appears increasingly vigorous. Most encouraging of all is the transition into beautifully formed three-finger leaves, signalling that the plant has fully entered active vegetative development. Each new node displays noticeably more energy than the previous one, suggesting that the initial establishment period is already behind her. Despite being the smallest plant in the room, she doesn’t appear weak. Quite the opposite—she appears determined. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos Sometimes the smallest plants create the most rewarding photographs. The early overhead images capture a tiny seedling standing almost alone within a large container, emphasizing just how much potential still lies beneath the surface. As the week progresses, every photograph tells a different story. The side profiles reveal a stem becoming stronger each day, while the overhead shots beautifully document the increasing symmetry of the canopy. One of my favorite moments is seeing those first fully developed three-finger leaves spreading confidently across the frame. They’re small, but perfectly formed, and they represent the moment where Candy Rain truly begins her journey. Macro photography reminds us that growth doesn’t always happen dramatically. Sometimes the biggest victories are measured in millimetres. ⸻ 🌿 Looking Forward Next week should be particularly exciting. With the root system now becoming established, I expect noticeably faster vertical growth, larger fan leaves and shorter intervals between new nodes. The gap separating Candy Rain from the rest of the room should gradually begin to shrink. Autos often surprise us with sudden bursts of development once they settle into their final containers, and there are already signs that she may be preparing for exactly that. Die letzten 2 Wochen laufen nun. Ich gieße die 3 nur noch mit Wasser. Ich versuche die Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur zu senken. Die Blüten sind überall mit Harzdrüsen bedeckt. Sie duften irgendwie appetit anregend 😋

Les feuilles du bas commence à jaunir depuis quelque jours . J’ai donner les engrais un peu à l’avance et devrais agir d’ici quelques jours He oui 🤩elle sens forte! Pour l’instant je perçois surtout quelques choses de aigre doux très sucré 🤤 Elle démontre toujours une belle vigueur!!

Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'😅( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my health💪😁!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpd😖. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyones👻!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didn‘t expect this thing beeing so sensitive 😅. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... 😇 Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing 👆!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about! Day 24: Decreasing salt-levels in the drain - excepting plant 4, wich had an EC of 4.0 - so i guess i'm slowly draining exess-salts from top to bottom and might have collected some build-up. The girls seem to be quite okay. Root-growth is vigorous (there are thick, white roots penetrating through the pots, everywhere), the stems are relatively thin. removed the LST-lines. the Sc.r.o.g: only materiels needed, were a climbing-net for gardening (HDPE) cut to 90x90 for my 1x1 tent, 4 cable-ties and 2 meters of strong rubber-cord. Pre-installed the net with the cable-ties, then weaved the cord around the outter cords of the net, led it aroud the posts and pulled tight. Then brought the net into it's final position. Not as sturdy as with a wooden frame - but i had less than half the work and a bit of freedom to move things if necessary. Any shoot will now be put to the next outter square (relative to the center of each plant) as soon as can be held by the net, without harming the top. Once i moved all of the dominant colas to the next square, i'll have to take 10-15cm steps (vertical growth), to reach the next square. As soon as i have about 70 of my 81 squares filled, i'm going to flip to 12/12. Since i'm plannin' to have them full of sugar when flippin', i don't expect too much of a stretch. This way i hopefully have the longest and strongest shoots framing the shorter ones in the center - so the canopy shapes like a bowl, in order to achieve the most even light distribution possible. Day 25: The main colas visibly reached out for the light - but yet i only moved 1 single shoot to the next square. Girls look good, EC is dropping slowly, climate fine. CU tomorrow👋 day 26: on Track... nothing to worry about...... till day 28....... Due to high EC levels in the soil, i couldn't do much more than pour out some water and prepare the scrog this week. Next week i will have to do some weaving. If the nutrientlevels allow, i'll do some defoliation.

* ************** Week 8 - May 30 to June 5, 2020 - Days 50 to 56 from germination **************** * This was a good growth week. KK has many white hairs on bud sites she is filling in and bulking up. pH numbers still higher so keeping an eye on the amount of base nutes to minimize lockouts. Leaf color is doing good and she is on her way. When the medium is in the correct range she is swelling and looking happy. She has been good with heavier feedings but she is also outwardly happier when the pot is on the dry side. More oxygen around the roots is my assumption. She is a beautiful little plant and is bushy.....trimming will take a little bit of work but its all good......not bending over her top is giving her a nice shape. Lots of leaves😀 She tight nodal spacing and is certainly growing as a little bush. Great strain for those concern about height restrictions!!! Note: I have running with the Green Plant line for nutes and I am very happy........I also have some Advanced Nutrients bottles that have not been used so I am fitting them in as it seems appropriate. I really like Piranha, Voodoo, Tarantula, Sensyzme, and Overdrive......don't see me stopping having those bottles around garden. Little more detail.......... May 30/20 - Day 50 - 4L feed with Sensyzime @ 1.5ml/L = 315ppm and 4.4pH - runoff in the pot before feeding was 7.1pH. - runoff after feed was 5.8. - leaves are an okay color, not too dark, and she is doing well. - bud sites getting larger. May 31/20 - Day 51 - 4L heavier feed: CalMag & Rezin & Lwt @ 1ml/L, Rhino @ 1.5ml/L, Vita & Kelp @ 2ml/L, Massiv @ 3ml/L = 700ppm - fair bit of runoff, not checked. - good growth overnight......happy getting their medium down to 5.8 yesterday. - This girl seems happier when her pot is on the lighter side. June 1/20 - Day 52 - 3L feed with Massive @ 2ml and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 1300ppm, pH 4.4 - Pulled a few leaves.....take more on weekend. - She is wide but not going to be too tall......under 24" idea I suspect. - Bud sites are a medium size and her hairs are white but not huge. June 2/20 - Day 53 - 2.5L feed: Terp & Massive @ 3ml/L, Vitathrive @ 2ml/L, Rezin & LWt & Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L = 1300ppm 4.6pH. - she is doing well......buds continue to get bigger. - still don't know what the hell with the pH? June 3/20 - Day 54 - 2L feed: Sensyzime @ 2ml/L = 315ppm and pH to 4.9 - she has reacted well to take some of leaves and her branches are more defined all the time. - just gave her some enzymes today to keep the roots clean of the salts. - raised her up more in the tent to get closer to light. Set her on another riser. June 4/20 - Day 55 - dry out day - her leaves are growing back quickly and she is appearing happy. - she has reacted well to the increased light intensity!! June 5/20 - Day 56 - 3L feed: AN Big Bud & Vitathrive & Rezin @ 2ml/L, Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L - 1050ppm and 4.4pH going in. - no run off from the girls......they are eating!! - crazy.......4.4pH going in and she loves it!! - took more leaves to expose some more sites. - She is firming up well. Not rushing to take more leaves. That will wrap up week number 8 already! The girls are fighting a few issues but overall they are performing well. Killer Kush plants would fill in a 4 x 4 nicely and create a great canopy with 6 plants. As always with the girls I have grown.......@Sweet_Seeds has selected nice characteristics for this strain!! 👍💪

I'm quite impressed by this week's development. She is starting to show her fatness. I did a flush at the beginning of the week and it helped a lot. Now I'm starting to give her less and less nuts, as she shows obvious tip burns and quite gark green leaves. I believe she will be ready in no more than 8 weeks of flower.

Getting to be a real jungle in there. I did some more defoliation to get better light penetration, but only on the fan leaves. They're growing so fast you'd think I hadn't defoliated atall within a couple of days.

Sorry for the lack of uploading ! These plants have been perfect from the start. Budding out nicely and haven't shown any signs if defficiency. All training has been stopped and I have started cutting back on the nitrogen for the 2 autoflowers. The peanut butter cookies is growing to be very bushy so I have done some light defoliation to help with light penetrative to the lower canopy of the plant
