Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 6 - Week without surprises. No-till cycle working well, watering only with water, but note that the companion plants still grow crooked. Soon the soil still shows signs of excesses, I believe that in the next cycles these excesses will be fixed. Hugz from Brazil.

Полёт в штатном режиме, к концу второй недели сделал пересадку растений в горшки по 12,5л.(можно было на пару дней позже, но и так пойдет). В процессе использовал средство Jellyfish Plant Success, которое попало ко мне практически случайно, и вот тут не обошлось без сюрпризов можно сказать в прямом эфире - после полива смесью нелицеприятного вида(внутри кокоса и на корни я тоже обильно посыпал) буквально прямо на глазах на поверхности кокоса начали формироваться желеобразные сгустки по типу гидрогеля, размером с горох(см. видео). Поначалу я даже не знал, как реагировать, настолько это было неожиданно.😵 Здравый смысл да и само название(!) продукта подсказывали, что так и должно быть 😐, вот серьёзно, как-будто большую медузу бросили в миксер, а затем высыпали мне на субстрат. Подозреваю, что внутри субстрата творилось то же самое. Прошли сутки, комочков желе стало меньше, но растворились не все. Теперь я уже вижу, что с растихами всё в порядке, значит всё так и было задумано 😇 Если и дальше всё пойдет по плану - в конце недели будем резать, заходите посмотреть. Day 23: -Seeing great growth from the little girl, true leaves developing, and slowly burying the stem over as she grows. Showing great resilience so far, and nice rich colour to her leaves 😁 Feeding every other water still. Day 25: - feed today, a nice 2.5L to moisten up the 3gal she's in, no run off, she's very happy and healthy. Day 28 - (end of week) showing good progress this week above soil. Seeing better growth on leaves and now seeing nodes. Beautiful 😍 Began lst today, minor pull back of main stem to allow better light penetration, also I believe that the technique of burying her stem as she grew did add abit of stress, but not enough to impact as her main stem is already looking thicker and I'm under the impression by doing this it will allow for a better stable plant as in being able to hold itself more. We will see 👌✌️💚

My Triple G FINALLY popped up out the soil. My mistake was planting it inside the final growspace... 3 gallon pot. Idk if that had to do with it, also I THINK the shell of the seed was stuck cuz its bent just like the Purp Q.

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Also big shout out to my bro at NatureDelight.co.uk providing some awesome organics to add into the grow schedule. Used The Active Sugar Boost all through flower at 3ml per litre this run and I think the results speak for themselves. I cannot implore you guys enough to go check this stuff out. Removed autoflower and put her in her own pot outside the tent. Foliars applied in strong blue 430nm with 4000hz tone. 20min dose prior to application. In essence, you're seeing a combination of the infrared light reflected by the plant, which the camera perceives as red, and any residual visible blue light the plant reflects, which results in a purple hue. I was doing more stretching of the stems, adjusting weights, just a little too much, and it snapped almost clean. I got a little lucky in that it was still connected, wrapped her almost instantly while holding her in place with yoyos. I am hopeful she will recover and reconnect the xylem and phloem channels. Oopsy level stress event. ANTHOCYANINS!

Week 18 done and dusted!! Week 10 of flower!! 🌸 They're ready!! There's enough milky/amber for my liking and they're currently on day 4 of zero water so they'll be pretty much bone dry!! 🏜️ I've turned the LEDs off for their 2 days of darkness!! 🌃 And once that's up I'll give the bottom of the tent a quick clean and take everything out except the extractor fan and a small dehumidifier then 14 days of drying!! 🍂 Catch you next week for another update!! 🍋🍇🤙
