Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. Day 97 and the grow box is battling to stay at 16 degrees as the garage drops to -2 degrees. I made my first ever compost tea for a batch of homemade super soil that I’m feeding. I gave the girls a drink of that yesterday, although stopped with the biobizz nutrients a few days ago. Will stick to water and slowly flushing from now on. It’s finally started to smell a wee bit like weed but it’s not noticeable in amongst all my fermenting jars of the various homemade KNF nutrients. I’d highly recommend getting into making your own KNF nutrients….lots of good fun. I started making Fish Amino Acid tonight so the whole garage is looking a bit like I rented storage space to Jeffrey Dahmer. In the video, the first plant on screen is the Skywalker and the smaller one is the. Orange bud. Both have not grown much in last few days (16 degrees or end of life territory?). I’m looking out for the clear to milky but I can’t really tell with my shitty magnifying glass. I’m fed up smoking ‘session weed’ and got Skywalker on the go in the hope I can tap into that 26% thc they boast about. So don’t want to chop it too early. The second I see one amber trichome, auld Luke is getting the chop. May then leave the orange bud for a bit longer to see if less competition causes it to bulk a bit.

Not really much to say this week all 10 are growing fine with no problems at all I Will keep removing the larger fan leaves as I go along, I do this in order to try and get as much light to the bottom branches as I can before I switch them to 12/12. This will hopefully keep the canopy as even as it can be without having to do to much training or topping. Day 34 - Looking abit skinny and after the defoliation, but had to remove the middle growth and large fan leaves to get light to them bottom branches and new growth tips. I’m aiming to keep them small and bushy

The two beautiful Critical Kush plants came from another diary. They sprouted fast and came up strong. I was amazed. Because after soaking for 24 hrs I don't think they even cracked the shell. I do not know the breeder. Got these through a trade with Tonio, who I'm sorry to say had to stop growing. They were only labeled Critical Kush. With gold lettering on the sticker. No other marks. ?????

I’m thinking of throwing out one of the phenos she’s seems to have a mutation. Might wait a week and she what she does, but Pheno 1 is looking good and I can’t wait to take some clones of her.

All 3 Pheno's have been topped - This strain seems to have more thicker indica like growth as opposed to a more stretched out sativa hybrid. No negative response to the topping - Waiting for lower nodes to come up. Overall healthy growth.

Had to remove tables from the tent and lift trellis. allowed plants to stand up. defol and lollipopping throughout the week. the reports are all messed up and i have been sort of busy so im just going to photo dump and ill leave it to the viewer to work out whats what from what days. I think stretch is over now but its been a constant battle to keep them away from the lights. this is weeks 3 and a bit of 4.

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! Had some major ph problems in this strain. Did not prefer the same feeding schedule as the other 2 strains . I think it’s from poor water schedule for couple days. Had very high ph runoff around 6.6. Gave a nice acidic feeding (5.7)mixed with some Epsom salt (5gm)only getting to around 1000 ppm about 3/4 of a full feed for week 4 ( norm ~1600). Going to be bottom feeding going forward with auto pots arriving today. TENT UPGRADES: 19 L Vivo sun smart humidifier. Thoughts: very happy with this smart tent feature with vivo sun. Going to really sis in the climate going forward adding some new equipment to make the smart tent complete and watch the plants thrive!

They grew alot this week and pushed in height. Now they are producing nice buds. I started giving them nutrients this week. They loved them.

Day 27 from seed: Wow these ladies like life it seems. Some very good growth this week and the switch to Mega Crop has started well so far. The Paler girl is starting to darken a little more now so let's see how we go. As mentioned in the video , I have been able to top them this week so the training can slowly begin . The only thing I need to sort now it the watering regime for the Los. They are doing good with the MC being used too. I am dialing them all in this week to see how green and healthy we can get them. I am looking forward to their smoke as these have been a strain I grew as a photo period a while back. Love these fast buds girls.

Looking great in here. Although had a bit of an insect scare but hopefully under control. But the planted are easing into flower nicely and sites available for flower are slowly covering up with pistils. Progress is good. Mammoth p being added to the mix every 3 or 4 days. It’s my first run using mammoth p but I’ve read good things about it. The potg and one of the PMs are currently battling for number one spot in the tent with the gelatos. The Cherry and other PM aren’t far behind😍😍😬 Update..... all of them just racing now, out and up looking super healthy and super happy. They will also get a little more room to grow in the next couple of days but alas upwards can go no more so I’ll give all the girls decision within the next two days also. This stuff if you’re unfamiliar with it, encourages the plant to stop all vegetative growth immediately and simply focus its powers on flower development. I’ve read good things about it but haven’t used it personally before. Decision idea shelved but 1 purple Majik and the POG are growing talllll. I’ve managed to give each plant a little extra space to grow and allowed better light coverage across all plants. A wee bit of bending may be needed but let’s hope not, I do hate breaking these poor girls necks😱😢 The girls responding well to new set up canopy is looking full and healthy the CG in particular is making a great show fast, not to Say that the PM aren’t moving quickly too, they are 😍😍😍. I think once the POTG has decided to quit stretching it’s also really going to fill out. But all in all great. Very happy with everything in there. Current favourite, and the shortest, is the Cherry Garseeya, she just way cool.
