Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

I definitely enjoyed and having cool cure definitely a game changer . Bout to test it out some more by leaving the buds or recent harvest inside the system. Thinking cutting down the time 4 weeks in veg and 8 to 9 weeks in flower to keep it coming and posted..

Mimosa Evo Clone doesn’t seem to like the new home and shows some yellowing on the tips. I assume that this might be some sort of Nitrogen toxicity but i keep a close eye on it. LST continues. Only Lemon Orange and Exotic Runtz have been topped and they will cover the most of the tent. They are going into Flowering end of this week.

The situation is starting to get super interesting also for our Zamnesia photoperiods, we have new and very different strains that are expressing themselves very well, Karen Kush, Test 1, Test 2, Cosmic Noodles and Runtz are already making my mouth water, it is the grass that I will be consuming during the magical Christmas and end of year periods, it must be done well to give nice trips to me and those who are with me. Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

This week i need to change the reservoir again, the plants drink solution just as I add fresh water the EC stays at 2.7 and i need to add PK and Calmag so that's why. The weather outside is very cold this whole week around -18 degree Celsius at night...this made my reservoir water go under 15 degree Celsius. These girls are busting out the seams. Giving them heroic doses of Calmag and molasses to finish the job off. I just did a Trichome check and we're at 5-10% amber so they are ready to be pulled. These photoperiod plants are ready in under 100 days. The smell is wildly pungent .. thankfully I have my exhaust venting outside for the whole world to enjoy ☮️🇨🇦

Last week runned into some trouble with them as they were showing signs of some deficiency and turned out to be rootbound. I transplanted them to a bigger pot and they got happy&healthy again. Now just a few more days before i switch to flower.

My plants are doing better with more heat and less light. My light is turned down to 30%. I installed a oil heater so the tent stays above 80 even during lights out. My plants have never looked healthier. Changing off of my veg nutes and going to flower dosages.

Back 2 are on week 5 day 34 of flowering & front plant Orange sherbet clone is week 8 day 54 & very close to harvest, changed her over & flushing with water & Rezin only. Awaiting delivery of a new 60x microscope lense to view trichomes but the buds look like their just about done. Calyx closed & swollen, amber pistils curling in, they are nice & dense buds.

Week 2 she's getting bigger and stacking them nodes, having to water more frequent. Also she almost ready for a transplant.

Barneys Farm Seeds Red Diesel revegged Clone Grow 6 weeks of Flowering Completed 24th March 2020 Well another week has passed by and I find myself stuck at home under self isolation 😟 Not because I am sick but simply to do my part in limiting the spread of the virus. This plant continues to grow nicely albeit she has several seeded buds that I can see. She still smells and feels like she is developing resin so I'm not that worried about poor quality buds. Depending on the weather I aim to harvest her in about 2 weeks time. The seeds that are developing should be mature by then but i will definately sample a few to be certain. Feeds she had for this week were aprox 15 Litres of a mix containing Monstabud @10mls/L & Seaweed solution @1ml/L The sun is back here for the next few days so I hope she makes the most of it 😎 That is all for this week Thankyou for stopping by and taking the time to read my update 👍 Stay well ✊

We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. Both plants look good but I prefer the sturcture of the mainlined plant. It gets cleaner and longer colas,

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week.
